What was the zerg player doing? His macro was amazing, but he was like "Get em lings, just let the infestors take the damage." So his broods were out of place horribly, I believe I watched 4 infestors a-move to death, and then he didn't really bother trying to get the blords out. Some of the absolute worst micro I've ever seen in a professional game. I think I could have handled it and I'm only diamond.

Stimpack is so ridiculously overpowered once medivacs arrive, way more gas required just to deal with marine+medivac than it takes to produce marine+medivac and they're already at an advantage by being ranged instead of melee.

Makes for really, really boring games when blobs of marines just autowin versus pretty much anything without a LOT more invested on the zerg's side. And I'm not going to get started on MULEs.

@lucun1010 Marines outrun them off of creep, ling surround doesn't work versus good terrans, and terran will not engage on creep without tanks being in position. The only way to use banelings effectively is to either majorly out-macro the terran (2 more bases than he has), or to combo it with fungal growth.

Or you can just use the gas to make more infestors, which are more effective anyway.

The imbalance of marines is that they're so cheap and quick to build that they can swarm more effectively than even zerglings, not least because as this game demonstrates, T with 60 SCVs with mules = Z with 80 drones. That's 20 extra army supply = 20 extra marines for terran. The game isn't as imbalanced as many people like to make it out to be, but watching a lot of games recently, there seems to a bit of an edge to T.

Golden/WAG had a good unit composition for dealing with DeMuslim's marine blob. All he lacked were banelings and better micro. He should have led with the some zergling and Infestor's first. lings would have distracted the marines long enough for the infestors to FG then followed by banelings and broodlords mopping up the majority of the marines and sending in the remaining zerglings to finish anyone still standing.
