  • OMG

  • i got a question about the tank at 1:12. the grass that is above the rock/cliffs, do you buy it like that? or do you have to somehow plant the grass on top of it to be make it look that neat?

  • @lopez5678 You have to trim it to keep it looking neat like that. Starts to grow long and a nice trim will make it nice and compact

  • @Limpedalong but how do the plants get on the rock? do you buy them like that ? or does it magically grow on it lool?

  • 2:48 is the most eyepleasing to me. I plan on making a close replica to that with a few modifications. I like the colors because it looks like scenery from one of my favorite movies. ^^

  • This makes my tank look embarassing...

  • These would be perfect for dwarf shrimp :)

  • Paradise for a small shrimp

  • 0:10 damn good

  • wht song is this?

  • @clscloud moonlight sonata

  • dont worry its not the aquarium that makes you a fag,, it's the buttsex

  • that's what fish see when they die

  • 17 sec and 30 sec should win

  • I was called a fag cos Im trying to set up one of these.

  • @scottclements78 i dont know why they do that , they called me the same because of my aquarium

  • @scottclements78 I would guess that straight men are the majority of the planted aquarium world.

  • whats the name of the fIsh at 2:17

  • @slash91197 dicus cichlid at 2.16 2.17 guppys

  • My favorite is 0:18... looks like some asian scene. So cool. :)

  • 1:13 and 1:41 awesome!!!

  • Moonlight sonata :D

  • The music gets me thinking on the world at war 2

  • 0:20...just heaven

  • at 2:20 is exactly like the tank that I have at home...exactly...well except the fact that mine doesn't have any plants or any decoration yet, but the rest is exactly the same...well may be if i pour some water in it .... well little details who gonna notice them...

  • how do you clean a tank when is planted with live plants? can you put angel fish, molly and guppies in a planted tank? i want to get a 55 gallon fish tank but do you use the gravel vacuums to clean the bottom gravel of the tank? are live plants hard to care? any information will be appreciated. thank you.

  • Esto es realmente soberbio. Vítor a los magníficos artistas y a Kookioz por compartirnos tanta belleza.

  • 1:14 waaa..

  • 1:11 is clearly the winner folks

  • LOL. And you choose a winner how????? Thats rhetorical btw.

  • do you know that plant at 0:52 ?

  • 1:24 is amazing.. breathtaking..

  • I love this tanks !

  • watching this makes me want to drown myself in my own poor fugly aquarium. So beautiful. I will just have to console myself with the fact that those plants wouldn't last a day with my mean bastard, voracious, piggy fish.

  • I wonder how they maintain the inert white sand pathway at 0:19 ... Anybody has any experience doing an aquascape something like that ?

    Thanks in advance =)

  • soo nice... wow

    - a dream!!!

  • some of these tanks are just too beast. dont know how they do it.

  • HOLY ........ WOW

  • I swear with the soft music in the background for a few minutes I got lost in this world.

My favorites are 0:18 and 0:32, especially the 0:32, it looks like the rapids, absolutly amazing.

Thank you Kookioz for puting it together.

  • What is the name of the ground cover at 1:43

  • @oakcrayfish It's most likely hairgrass, however it could be japanese hairgrass

  • @Kookioz What are the prces of doing stuff like this I might want to start it.

  • @ThePaganbaby

It is not too expensive to maintain once it is up, the tank and lighting are also fairly cheap if you choose a small setup, the only real 'price' is the time you take in maintenance and if you choose to buy exotic plants.

  • @oakcrayfish eleocharis parvula

  • Watching this video with the moonlight sonata is how to stay in aquatic paradise....

    wonderful!!!

  • theyre all nice and if a fish is in watever tank its very lucky!

  • the tank at 0:40 looks really dirty maybe its the wood, but if thats the case then the aquascaper should have preped the wood the right way. or it could be because the light is orange on purpose. but idk

  • Anybody has any idea as to how they keep the creeping plants like hairgrass or HC from growing onto the white gravel/sand they have in some of the tanks. I'm thinking of re-scaping my tank soon and i wanna re-create those white sand pathways that they do so nicely in some of the set-ups.

    Thanks in advance =)

  • @AsNiDmY86 get a pleco, he'll keep em' under control

  • Ive gotta be honest and say while they look good I couldn't help but notice a lack of fish and where the fish were present they were all quite small.

I think aquascaping has to strike a balance between fish and the environment. Too much of one or the other just looks odd imho

  • well shit damn, shit the bed wish my planted tank would look like those.

  • i LOVE how some of these aquariums display real life images. such as a road through a cannon.

    0:18

  • whats the red plant called in 1:11? thank you

  • i believe the red plant at 1:11 is Ludwigia arcuata which can grow red under high lighting or the right strain. another similar plant is rotala macaranda "red". thanks

  • thanks again..it could also be rotala rotundifolia..

  • 0:39 what is that supposed to me.. i cant even see any plants and theres a shit load of tannon in the water

  • 0:39 is a biotype where it tries to replica a natural environment, i wouldnt have added it but the person who entered, entered in the wrong section lol

  • oh, i see. so its trying to replicate the black waters of the amazon river or something then. i wouldnt touch discous fish with a 10ft pole. lol

  • 3:13 my fave

  • yes its great, it reminds me of a marine layout almost

  • Filtration?

  • usually taken out, just for the photography

  • nice moonlight sonata beautiful :)
