@rob04031 Did you know you don't have to hold the key on the start position to start the car. Just start it normally but don't keep holding it on the start position.
I prefer the CX9, the explorer is a bit chunky for me. I drove it, but when I drove the mazda, it was a diffenent thing. Mazda's style is unique.. and that feeling you get driving it, is just uncomparable, plus I get better MPG and kinda the same equipment the explorer has. although, explorer is a great suv, not saying not.
@stealth800 I've got an XLT (2011) I love mine. Some people with earlier builds had some issues with the my ford touch, but I haven't had any issues with mine (built march 4th). The only other issue I know of is there is a slight rattle when the wind blows just right, however if yours has that the dealer just has to replace a part (takes about an hour) and you don't have the issue any longer. Go drive one, if you do you will buy it. The ride alone sells the car.

Well my family is getting sick and tired of our 2005 odyssey, and we wanna get a new car. My mom wants a new minivan, I want this SUV. I'm about 6 foot, and I was wondering if I can fit in the second/last row?
@AnonymoussourceL0L I had a 6 foot 3 inch guy sitting in the 3rd row of my 2011 explorer. I'm 5' 11" and I fit in there nicely without having to smash my legs into the seat in front of me.
Congrats on your new explorer :) I would love this exact one but I'm 17 and can't afford it so yeah...lol...When I am able to afford a new explorer this one will be outdated so that makes me feel a bit better...lol...have fun with yours!
I have never driven the old V8. I think this only has a couple less HP then the V8 but the mileage is great! Pickup is very quick on it. I haven't gotten on it too hard because it is still so new. Got to break in the engine first!
@hellohi177 Congrats on your order! You will absolutely love it! I'll tell you, Ford nailed it with this one. I think with the touch screen that you just have to get used to it. The more we use it the easier it is. There is a slight lag, but nothing too bad. If that's what we have to live with but get to enjoy the rest of the vehicle, I am ok with that! @rrange Amen to that. I actually grew up HATING Fords. My freshman year in college I was in a bind with my current car and I found a good deal on a used Ranger with very little mileage. I was upset that I was going to buy a Ford but I did it anyway due to my tight situation. I'll tell you, that was the best little truck I have ever had. I had an F250 after that and now have an F150 FX4.. I cannot even think about driving anything else but a Ford now. They have totally converted me!

Great job, I just put an order for the same one...minus blind spot. Can't wait.
I thought the touch screen lagged a little...about 0.5 second slow during my test drive.
Any ideas what the A/V jack does? can the center screen be used as a screen for the A/V?
