Probably you are not aware of this. Export of China only consititute less than 10% of their GDP. The Chinese Govt. already working on this scenario and have started to reform their Social Welfare so that Chinese do not need to save too much (Chinese saved more than anybody by % of income) and consume more so as to support their own economy.

On many points, they are obviously right : UE is built on Roman Empire remnants, both in geographical terms, but also in political terms.
Organization of society in Europe (and subsequently in all American countries) is based on Roman Empire's legacy for historical reasons : since Rome was the sole reference as political system in Europe, it was copied since then, and revived regularly.
