The problem with the trick is you won't have your thumb free to move the right stick, so you can't turn around fast enough.

This trick works best with C4. Even after you use your C4 you can still use this trick, only because you still have the detonator. Thanks for the tip btw Tmartn, has saved me many times since I started using it. Though getting used to it was a pain.

This is exactly like the riot shield melee thing in Modern Warfare 2 so I guess you could use it with that.

Also, the knifing system is utter -blam!-. Should melee with the butt of your gun but takes two hits instead to kill, or three hits with a secondary. Or, like in Gears, how you chainsaw duel but instead "wrestle" to see who plunges the knife in first. (Just my opinion).
