I know its a while since you posted this clip but a likely cause is the plug for the airbag under either the passenger or drivers side seat has simply come out. Have a ferret around under there and see if you can see a (generally yellow) plug that needs reconnecting.
I have the same thing and my Horn sticks on so i've took the fuse out.
Someone told me that the spring had gone for the horn which i'm guessing might also be the problem for the airbag, does anyone know what part i need to buy, VW POLO 2001 1.4 petrol.

found you it was the clock spring behind the steering wheel
129£ from vw for the part, then had it fitted then restarted the cpu and its all gone now

Nah, have the same thing, its probably went on randomly because of the old wiring.
