I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't believe in God, the creator of all mankind, and the universe, and Jesus Christ, our Saviour. I won't argue the bible with anyone, but I can say that God will prove His own. Jesus is coming soon, and I pity the ones who have not preparred themselves. I've seen too many miracles to doubt God. People with crushed bones don't get out of wheel chairs and walk without the help of a higher power. All I can say is people better wake up before it's too late!!!

It seems to me that you have not read the bible carefully enough. Everything science reveals, proves the bible to be accurate. Really studie the book of Genessis. If you can comprehend even some of what you read then you can see what is plainly true. It mentions stars in chpt.1 verse 16. Also , think about this, the bible was written thousands of years ago, how could they know so much about the creation of earth way back then.

You're right, I havent read the Bible enough.

I read stuff in school that I was forced to read because somehow they are allowed to push this stuff on children.

They could actually just teach kids the law, and the same result would be achieved.

I used to be in a Choir and sing Christian music all the time - however 10 years on, I have realised that you cannot take the Bible as a literal version of history.

The book is there to give you lessons to live your life. Its not real.

tjbayliss, Jesus did not call money evil. Greed is evil. People who are greedy tend to want to be rich and let mammon/money rule their lives. They begin to worship money and forget that God is in control of it. God doesn't want us to be rich, nor poor. He will supply all our needs, as long as we spend our money wisely, give Him what is rightfully His, and give to others in need. Someone who doesn't give becomes greedy. Then pride comes in. That is why the rich will never enter heaven.

God owns all things. The "psychopaths" in Washington are the ones us Christians are supposed to be praying for that God would guide them in how to use His money. Tongues are the evidence of the Holy Ghost. I think you got it confused. Charismatic churches are more inclined to not view tongues as the INITIAL evidence of the Holy Ghost. That belief is an attempt to reconcile those who arent spirit-filled, which generally come from Euro-centric churches (protestant or catholic). My great g-dad was a baptist preacher and I can tell you that he didnt have the Holy Ghost. That being said, there are 'bapti-costal' churches which receive God's anointing.
