  • do these have a C>D brill

  • eddie & ernie were from uk?

  • @pontello3 No, Phoenix Arizona

  • @spinning45s

ah! ok! cause i knew ( but maybe i'm wrong) that the northern soul was an english music!..but actually well is hard to believe that such an high quality and well played music were comin' from uk , when in the 60's the 99% of good soul and rnb was obviously from USA....so maybe northern soul was just ...apriciated and played in uk disco or something... but in the end I have to confess that i never really understood what northern soul was actually ç :)

  • @pontello3 Northern Soul is primarily US uptempo Soul originally played in the clubs in the North of England hence the term Northern Soul. The Eddie & Ernie "Indication" never got a US release for some reason, but did get released in the UK.

  • @spinning45s

    thanks man!

  • Well we all know Mamships a rip off merchant. Ive lost track of mates who have been in the shit money wise and have had to resort to selling their collection and he gives them 10% of face value. Yeah, they can say no, would make alot more flogging them 1 at a time but mortgage companys dont wait!! Manship rubs his fat greasy hands together like Fagan. Ive pulled the prick about it for years!

  • bääääääääm!

  • any idea wer i can get this mate [label] not cd----thanks ktf

  • and going up ...good luck ktf

  • @keepthefaith63 This only got a UK Jay Boy release. (surprisingly)

There is one on Manships auction as I reply ..about £130 and going up .

    Good Luck ktf.

  • There is another recording of this song on "Northern Soul's Classiest Rarities 3" on Kent (UK).

It was recorded for columbia and is a lot slower but equally incredible. Best heartbreak song ever.

  • reminds me of soul inc my proposal

  • great song, thank you.

  • awesome...say no more

  • What a duo these guys were. A real tragedy as is all so common in the black music world. From playing at the Apollo with many of the "greats" Eddie Campbell with a drink problem dies of cirrhosis of the liver and Ernie Johnson, living on the streets of Phoenix, doing kareoke and ending up being the victim of a hit & run. There's a story behind ever record and the very best never ever made it anywhere near the top.

  • Love it, Love it, Love it.

  • Great post!

  • Head noddin', can't get enough of this one

  • This is so sweat! thnks from amsterdam

  • not too expensive but hard to find, only on UK Jayboy

  • simply awesome.
