  • "According to legend, the last Super Saiyan could only maintain his status in the transformed state. His power was extraordinary, he had no equal in the universe. But he was too primitive to control it, his rage burned so intensely that it eventually consumed him. In the end, he was destroyed by his own power."

  • 2:10 Best. DBZ. Moment.

  • Comment removed

  • Dragon Ball Z japanese music all the way........ fuck Faulconer

  • ignorant fat american cocksuckers.

  • how about we shut the fuck up and as nostalgiafags, americunts and weeaboos alike, watch the fucking video

    faggots

  • @NUCLEARCAUTION u mad bro?

  • Holyshit, The last track of this is "Kaioken-Powered Kamehameha"

  • 1:24 enjoy kaioken x4!!!!

  • well we can all agree brolys voice is beast in japanese. sounds like a beefy yakuza lord... or something lol

  • japanese soundtrack and voices are way better. 2:53 made goku goin super sajin a fucking scary thing. especially for freeza hah

  • @Coletasmash616 Idk on the voice acting.

  • @LegendarySSJBrolyBx

i can see people not digging gokus voice but every other character sounds 50 times more bad ass in japanese

  • @DiamondCutterBang Not really. Vegeta sounds good, but too similar to Piccolo. DBZ is a rare dubbed masterpiece.

  • @Coletasmash616 Knowing I'm saying this in a Japanese soundtrack vid, I will get me a lot of biased responses. >_>; Nothin' wrong with that.

Still, Goku's voice is just ridiculous. That'll always be a no-go for me. Sean actually sounds like a man ya know.

  • goku turning in ssj for the firts time

  • I think Faulconer is trash. Kikuchi and Yamamoto kick ass

  • @daindom17

    agreed.

  • @daindom17 Of course , their music is actually real instruments.

  • @daindom17 I disagree about Faulconer's music being trash. But I do enjoy listening to both Kikuchi and Yamamoto's music.

At 1:25. I do remember this part of the music playing after Gohan defeated Garlic Jr. Whatever that was left of the Dead Zone turn into broken glass. At 2:10. Was when Garlic Jr. began opening the Dead Zone.

  • @daindom17 i dont think faulconer is trash i know that mother fucker is trash and eats dog shit

  • @carameloxx Um, WHAT WAS THAT!!!

  • @carameloxx

Shit, can't we just agree that both of them kickass? >.>

  • @carameloxx HAH HAH HAH HAH.

    An interesting story...

  • @daindom17 I think you are a brainless weeaboo.

  • @MrTennek I think you are an ignorant moron who doesn't know the meaning of weeaboo and misuses it to put down someone's opinion.

  • @daindom17 Sorry, but I can't hear you over all that incomprehensible weeaboo gibberish you're spouting.

  • @MrTennek So you wanna know what weeaboo means. It means a person unbelievably obsessed with Japan and anything related to it. I am person who is obsessed with the ORIGINAL version of an show that happens to be Japanese. I am not trying to fit in with Japanese people and I'm not trying to be that outsider. I am interested in the Japanese version because I think that, as the original version, it displayed the characters and the story in a manner very similar to the manga. Please don't be moronic

  • @daindom17 "It means a person unbelievably obsessed with Japan and anything related to it."

Lawl, so you just inadvertently described yourself to a T. Thanks for saving me the effort, kiddo.

  • @MrTennek God I'm not even going to start this because it's clear that you're trying to be funny and trying to make it so that your pathetic dub seems less pathetic. Bottom line is you failed to show anybody that you're not a complete dumb ass

  • @daindom17 Lawl, angry weeaboo is angry.

  • @daindom17 at least Faulconer didn't have to steal music from another composer like Yamamoto did. Kikuchi is great, but Faulconer is just as great in my opinion.

  • @TheSurskit Not really. Faulconer took credit for MANY songs that he had not created in the score. I'm not talking about the composers themselves, I mean the music. I couldn't care less if its theirs or not. If it sounds good, it sounds good. But Faulconer's score doesn't do it for me

  • @daindom17 I agree , I prefer Kikuchi and Yamamoto's Star Wars-like score , they fit the dark nature of DBZ.

I am glad Faulconer's score was not on Kai.

  • Z's dark?

  • @edward18517 Yes, Z(Kai is pretty much the same but less filler and no Buu saga) was darker than the original DB.

  • ...how?...

  • @edward18517 you don't think watching a namekian child explode is a little bit dark? or how about the part where Dodoria puts his hand through that one guy's torso. Not to mention Cell and the Androids. Quite a bit darker than DB.

  • no more dark than the deaths that occur in the original Dragon Ball.

  • @edward18517 i think DBZ was more explicit with the deaths of innocent civilians than DB was...though I can't say I didn't laugh when Piccolo Daimao killed Shenlong. That part took me completely by surprise

  • Piccolo Daimao's probably my favorite part of the entire franchise.

  • @edward18517 i would say him and saiyan saga Vegeta were my favorite villains.

  • to me Vegeta got real boring real fast after the whole Frieza thing ended.

  • @edward18517 yes he did.

  • @edward18517 Dragon Ball was a real light-hearted adventure series until Piccolo Daimao came around. From that point on the series became gradually darker and darker and was at its peak during the Freeza Saga (with genocidal monsters like Freeza and several members of the Planet Trade Organization). The Cell Saga toned it down slightly, but not by much. The Buu Saga was Toriyama's attempt to bring back the more light-hearted aspect of the series.

  • And Buu's my favorite part of Z. As for the darkest part I'd say that'd be Cell no competition.

  • @daindom17 Yeah, keep on sucking that Japanese schlong, you raging weeaboo faggot.

  • @Gidrovlicheskiy Interesting

  • @Gidrovlicheskiy Very interesting

  • Better than faulconer.

  • @DBZOceanStudios I like both japanese and american music. I hated the DBZ Kai music that they had on Nicktoons.

  • starting from around 00:24 theres a faster theme then that. can anyone tell whats its called, or where i can find it please!! it sounds exactly like the time i set it, but its faster and it always plays when Freezas around.

  • @Chaldean4life91

I think the theme you want is called "Kono Yo De Ichi-Ban Tsuyoi Yatsu". Its the second song in the track.

  • @Chaldean4life91 kyoufu ginyu tokusentai

that's the name of the song

  • I heard this piece many, many, many times... the anime got here with the original soundtrack.

  • Eargasm since 2:10

  • As a guy who has grown up listening to Faulconer since I first watched Dbz all I can say is this........I have just become enlightened by Shunsuke Kikuchi. This stuff really is great music. I regret that Funimation had to spoil it all by putting that rock and techno stuff. Please, people of the world, forgive America.

  • 2:10 me acuerdo que esa canción salió cuando goku se transformaba por primera vez en SSJ

  • @PLAL1057 momento en el que todo niño se vuelve ombre

  • 1:26 this song appears when i take mathematic test.

  • @MrGuitar0492 hahahahahahaha loooool hohohohohh xDDDDD

  • Dragon Ball Z Original BGM (not the american crap ie, Bruce Fuckoner) is definitely one of the best BGM's ever made.

    Kikuchi > Yamamoto

  • Shunsuke Kikuchi is a great composer, I also know him from his tokusatsu soundtracks of the 1970s!

  • really missed dragonball

  • 2.10 = Dragon ball kai épisode 043 début.

  • So far, I like Kai's music. But I really wish they kept/redid this score for when he turned Super Saiyan.

  • @Lerock Your wish has been granted.

Yamamoto got fired for plagiarising other artist songs and so the original DBZ BGM is being used now for DBZK. =D

  • @FilMarck Well, there are some tracks of the Yamamoto OST I like. I just meant I prefer THIS to what Yamamoto did for the SSJ transformation, it has that "WTF is happening?!" vibe.

  • @Lerock Yeah, Kikuchi's soundtrack fits DBZ 100%, but I just can't see it having the same flow over DBZ Kai, I'll have to wait and see 7th June (correct?), when DBZ Kai Part Five [Blu-ray] comes out.

  • i was watching every version on youtube of the first super sayjan transformation of goku.. and i have to say.. all the "remastered" and new dbz episodes, had a new transformation music.. that whas shit..

    i LOVE THIS ONE!!

the first.. THE EPIC !!.. the "im gonna rip the fucking shit out of your damn head out" version.. THE BEST ONE!!

  • @Deathbringer99699 agreed this is better, but the kai version was great too, they got rid of repeated footage and added bad@ss 3D aura, the fast paced music fit very well with the fast editing, Of course original japanese beats it music wise, it´s nice to know atleast the android saga in Kai does destroy Z musically speaking a lot more than The past 2 sagas.

  • Probably the eeriest song in DBZ.

  • The Japanese soundtrack is always the best. Whenever I watch this show the music never fails to give me the tension, thrill, fear and excitement especially in the toughest battle scenes.

  • GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIAS

    GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIASS

  • Frieza saga.

  • Comment removed

  • 2:13 Kaioken 180.000 or SSJ

  • imagine kid gokus face if he saw frieza lol

  • @DragoDillPepper He'd still probably fight him because Son Goku is the best and bravest hero of all time

  • 1:25 - FREEEEEEEEEZER!!! I really had nighmares about freezer when I was child!

  • hey, I can Question what is the name of the song when Frieza kill Vegeta?

  • @DRAGOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN I don't think it's actually named, but if you're looking for the choir BGM that played when Vegeta died, it's on the track titled "Mashinki No Nemuri Hime" (though technically speaking, it SHOULD'VE been romajised as "Majinjou No Nemurihime").

  • @jpdbzrulz4sure Thank you!!!! oh BTW, what mean Mashinki No Nemuri Hime?

  • @DRAGOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN It's just an incorrect romanization of the title of the track which contains the choir BGM. The correct romanization is "Majinjou No Nemurihime" which means "The Sleeping Princess of Devil's Castle", which is also the title of the 2nd Dragon Ball movie, in which the choir BGM was initially used.

  • @jpdbzrulz4sure I see, well ,thank you anyway!

  • @DRAGOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN Sure thing. If you need any more help finding BGM of DB(Z), just let me know.

  • @DRAGOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN Mashinki No Nemuri Hime , minute 2:13

  • @thegreko1 thank you!

  • hey, this is EXCELLENT! BTW, there I cand fand the ost where Goku defeat Frieza, you know, when he said, YOU MUST BE KILLED BE ME!!! then launch energy, and Goku return his power while he say YOU STUPID BASTARD!!! (i say the DBZ japanese version, not the US), where can i find?

  • @DRAGOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN

The organ part is the 4th segment of the track "Soshi Se Yo! Cell No Kanzentai," and the music that immediately follows is the 3rd segment of "Saiya-Jin Kitaru" Hope this helps.

  • @jpdbzrulz4sure Yeah! Thank you!

  • What is with all of this 'Freezer' bull?! If Toriyama wanted to name him 'Freezer', then he would have used the ELONGATED 'aa' sound to sound out our 'er' sound. That's just a general rule in Japanese, except for words like 'Frontier' where there's two different vowels in a row. But 'Furiiza' is obviously meant to be a corruption of the regular katakanization of 'freezer', which would almost certainly be 'Furiizaa', just like it was for Articuno's Japanese name.

  • @toadkicksyourass You're absolutely right. It's not "Freezer", it's "Freeza".

  • 2:10 kaioken!!

  • The first score showed very well how dark and serious Dragonball Z actually was, but the americans screwed it up with their rock/techno music and DBZ just wasn´t the same. It felt much "brighter".

  • @Flash11I19 Yeah, I agree. I like some parts of the dub but I don't think they made freeza as frightening as he is supposed to be

  • At least not in the english dub. That one sucks big time overall. German dub perfected DBZ.

  • Yeah I know what you mean... The Freeza arc was the darkest DBZ has ever been! Looking back at how happy, childlike, and cheerful DB was look at this!! But yeah, "Pop goes the weasel!!"

  • agree, the Japanese ost is better then US ones . But still , keep in mind that there are some US themes that made some characters "shine" a lot more then they did in the original anime . And that also makes the american themes special

  • @Flash11I19

Truer words have never been spoken. The first BGM is legendary.

  • @Flash11I19 i agree. i feel as if the amercian soundtracks make dbz a kids show, when actually its pretty dark.

  • @Flash11I19 That's exactly right.

The problem is, they looked at the Dragonball franchise, and just saw fighting, action and violence, and made a different soundtrack to accompany it. That's when Bruce Faulconer stepped onto the scene.

Shunsuke Kikuchi Vs. Bruce Faulconer is roughly equivalent to Storyline Vs. Action.

  • @Flash11I19 that's EXACTLY why I don't prefer the Faulconer score. In fact, the Japanese score and English Voices mix almost perfectly! They fit with each other, as in, they sounded good with each other.

  • @segakidguy44 Agreed, I've been watching the English version on the Dragon Box, and the music fit's exquisitely. One wouldn't miss Faulconer's score at all, though I will admit I do enjoy some of the tracks.

  • @Flash11I19 Fuckner's tracks made it monotonous; brighter wouldn't be as bad.

  • @47smithstreetseries Lol, u mad weeaboo?

  • @Flash11I19 when i hear things like that im proud that they didn't this in germany

  • ahaha when freeza throws an island at goku CRAZY LUVS DBZ

  • So this is the song in which Garlic Jr creates the Dead Zone. Awesome.

  • Freezer: Hihihihi Hahahaha...

    Gohan: Kuririn-san!

    Goku: Yamero Freezer!!!

    Kuririn: Goku!!!

    Poor Kuririn...

  • Japanese soundtrack (original so) are the better !

    Wonderful !

  • @KILLER0HASH I agree with you so much. I couldn't thank you more. That comment you made spoke the truth. Each and every one of these soundtrack means a lot to me. Just thank you.

  • 1:25-2:08

    Krillin: Woah!

    Gohan: Krillin!

    Goku: Frieza, stop this!

Frieza: You will never come back! *squeezes his hand*
