oh and by the way..I hate calling marijuana a drug..its not a drug. Thats what the government calls it..but in my opinion a drug..is Meth..or heroine. Not Marijuana. So really what im trying to say..is mixing a Marijuana protest and a Gun protest together..is defeating the purpose.

"Ohh guns are just such a symbol of innocence. They make me think of Norman Rockwell paintings, warm apple pie, and the 1950's when every town was like Mayberry and there was a barbershop quartet on every street. And good 'ol Joe McCarthy and the John Birch Society and the blacklists! Ahhh to simpler times!"

No there is nothing inherently wrong with carrying a gun but why would you want to? Is it to "hark back to simpler times and old-fashioned values"? (bring in the witch kindling) or is it just to make a point in the current fashion of "it's all about ME and what I want and fuck everyone else"?
Looking at these clowns carrying rifles in a town square what do you think?
Elephant, your usual obscure Libertarianism 101 comments don't even warrant an answer.
what you don't see are the professional class of people who smoke cannabis but are too scared of losing their jobs for what they do in their private residences.
Who said anything about a cold state--Its november where i live and still growing a garden..potatoes are doing very well...Move to the south-but ur summers will be hot and humid..
In fact, the carrying of unloaded firearms when in public is a legal act in the state of California; police have even explained such to unjustifiably concerned individuals who had observed such behaviour in the city of San Francisco.
Yes, that is true, unless one is within 1,000 feet of a school. There is a school across the street from my house. So to transport a weapon off my property, I have to put it in a locked metal box (no ammo). The laws to procure a concealed weapons permit are very very stringent.
In the 1950's when I was a tyke, my parents never let me watch TV shows that had guns, and they kept the guns at home out of reach and out of sight. At ten or so, I got a BB gun for Christmas, and safety training. When I was 12, my dad gave me a .22 rifle and again taught me how to use it safely. Parents today have it backwards.
Dave, I am good now, just some questioning and he left me alone, I will hopefully have a report up tomorrow, and I got pretty good footage of the arrest. Also can you call me back, I need QIK help I can't save it to the hard drive.
Wish Texas was a open carry state :( BUT WHY DO THE BLACK PANTHERS (racist group) GET TO OPEN CARRY RIFLES IN HOUSTON AND NOT ME?!?! Im sure if i took my m1 Carbine outside id get shot
I am also beyond petty nationalism; however, today I find myself defending the nation state as one of the only remaining bulwarks against the new world order and a one world government.
Oh yeah, and what's up with the music towards the end? I have been hearing more keyboards and what sounds like original music in your videos lately, it seems. Did you make it? I know the brassy notes are you, at least :D It's great stuff... You should make an online album.
ya thanks that's me on a cheap early nineties E-max I bought...there's a story behind that though...I bought it from the family of a drummer friend who died in 93.. you'll hear his music on this show too, listed in the credits as Us or Charlie Papafrangos. This may be the only place on earth he still lives outside some memories and writings.
The Ridley Report is simply the best news show period, in my opinion. Pure, unadulterated information. No filler, no gloss. You are a big influence on my ideas of how this kind of information should be presented. Thanks for that. I hope that one day I can be as effective a journalist as you are. Getting there is going to be fun!
Don't tread on anyone using their camera in a vehicle, you sounded like the government there on that note. I understand it may seem unsafe. What you need to understand is WE THE PEOPLE have the intelligence to drive and film, the sheeple however do not. So the jist of what I'm saying is you downplaying someones right to film and drive, does not help this movement at all. I encourage all to drive and film if you know you don't have time to wait, or have to document something. LET FREEDOM RING! tx
People fear guns because of the way guns are portrayed in the news and on t.v. Fear is good because it gets people thinking, so long as the weapon owners are safe, random fear generation should not be the concern of activist.
some folks are scared of blacks and Mexicans. maby we should ban blacks and mexicans? oh, and dogs too. all scary pets of any kind. fed flags give me the chills. lets ban those too.
As a radical leftist (anarchist-communist) I'm all in favor of this. Having come from constitutionalist-variety libertarianism, one thing I retained as I moved leftward was a firm advocacy of an armed population. Unfortunately for me there's a lot of anti-gun sentiment even among my libertarian-socialist comrades, which seems to carry over from those who were formerly liberals, unlike myself. I'd like to see armed movements of radical leftists to mirror the constitutionalist militia movements.
WTF are you babbling about? FYI that kind of attitude is not helping anything. I am for NOT banning gun, I am for people being made to think. So, while you digest this try and come up with a coherent argument instead of nonsense.
Hey NamelessCommenter/dipshit, if I were talking to you it would make sense. So before you go into an argument read the comments between 803honda and I. So STFU.

p00lman 2 years ago

Do you mean that people copy maturity from others?

Elephantintheroom01 2 years ago

p00lman 2 years ago
The question which you avoided was: what creates maturity?
Elephantintheroom01 2 years ago
You see, there's this stork . . .
I have no idea what you're talking about. "Maturity" is an abstract and subjective quality. It's not something that can be measured.
p00lman 2 years ago
I suppose you think intelligence, sexuality and ultimately, truth are abstract also.
Those who label something as abstract simply are denying that they posses it.
Elephantintheroom01 2 years ago
Intelligence can be measured.
Sexuality can't be measured, but levels of estrogen or testosterone can be.
Truth can be qualified by facts.
How do you propose to measure maturity? Please tell me, I'm really curious.
p00lman 2 years ago
By ones actions; what solutions can they generate, immature tends to be short sighted, mature tends to be subtle.
Intelligence is measured in a similar way: I'm proposing a maturity IQ.

MooseOfReason 2 years ago
a witch-hunter would disagree with you.
Elephant, your usual obscure Libertarianism 101 comments don't even warrant an answer.

billburns, It doesn't matter whether or not I want to carry a gun. Why would I want to prevent or prohibit someone from carrying one?
MooseOfReason 2 years ago
doesn't look like anyone's being prevented or prohibited here.
These idiots seem to think that they live in Somalia, not New Hampshire.
billburns2 2 years ago
billburns2, Should it?
Somalia doesn't have a central government. New Hampshire does. I don't understand your point.

Why carry a weapon around with you like you're living in a 1950s Western movie?
Is it:
A: Because any minute now the evil police state will ride into town to oppress the people and only Tubby and Beardy can save us?
B: Because there is NO WAY that anyone can tamper with 2A if a couple of guys bring rifles to a pro-pot demo.
C: Because they have to defend Keene from Al Qaeda?
or is there another more selfish reason?
billburns2 2 years ago
Why don't you just go off to Iraq to blow up some farmers defending THEIR oil.
Massive military industrial complex equals massive dictatorship.

Very nice. The K31 is a great rifle!
It'd be very interesting to carry alongside them.

Interesting video. I'd participate in an open carry event given the opportunity.

I was up in Seattle a few weeks ago visiting Kenmore Air...do you work there or not?
mcgrawtim123 2 years ago
Nope, but their float planes fly right over my house in the summer. I draw a bead on them any chance I get. (joke of course)!

If I tried this in my hometown in California, I would be arrested. Sad that. Good luck to all of you free staters.

Why live in a state that bans guns---move.
xsleef 2 years ago
Why live in a cold state that can barely grow enough food for itself....move.
mcgrawtim123 2 years ago
Who said anything about a cold state--Its november where i live and still growing a garden..potatoes are doing very well...Move to the south-but ur summers will be hot and humid..
xsleef 2 years ago
I suppose Texas would be the perfect state to live in for climate, gun rights, and taxes.....which is why it's growing and California is dying.
mcgrawtim123 2 years ago
Look at the 6 states that have a balanced budget--Im just a little south of Texas, but Texas is one of my top choices if I was to move.
xsleef 2 years ago
Arizona has extremely lax gun laws. Not too cold (as far as I can tell), and we grow our own food.

I wouldn't drive using a camera,
... but my friend Michael,
fireheart17 on YouTube
does half his videos in his car,
and he is a professional driving instructor (who is very diligent and attentive to road safety). I guess he knows how to do it right.

I still have the .22.

Oh yeah, and what's up with the music towards the end? I have been hearing more keyboards and what sounds like original music in your videos lately, it seems. Did you make it? I know the brassy notes are you, at least :D It's great stuff... You should make an online album.
dtmbcorp 2 years ago
ya thanks that's me on a cheap early nineties E-max I bought...there's a story behind that though...I bought it from the family of a drummer friend who died in 93.. you'll hear his music on this show too, listed in the credits as Us or Charlie Papafrangos.

Take care
Mike

NamelessCommenter 2 years ago
WTF are you babbling about? FYI that kind of attitude is not helping anything. I am for NOT banning gun, I am for people being made to think. So, while you digest this try and come up with a coherent argument instead of nonsense.

I'm sorry, what? Your comment makes no sense.

Hey NamelessCommenter/dipshit, if I were talking to you it would make sense. So before you go into an argument read the comments between 803honda and I. So STFU.
