  • this is the best flying model ive ever owned . seriously it flys like a trainer at slow speeds , then open the taps and shes a true bred warbird. I fly mine with a 91 magnum 4t and it has plenty of power , ive also changed the colour scheme still silver but with invasion stripes , well doen black horse.

  • Nice model ya have there ol chap!! flys lovely, nice to see that my P47 isnt the only one to sit on its nose at the site of a piece of grass lol

  • Thanks. Yeah i misjudged the landing a bit there didnt i. Rolled off into the long grass. Dont usually nose it over though. Will have to get another video once the weather picks up a bit.

  • Even though shes an ugly beast from the front, the thunderbolt wing profile is surprisingly elegant.

  • In silhouette it could almost pass as a spitfire with that elliptical wing lol.

  • Designed by a Russian and a Georgian, both called Alexander ;) They had designed a few mediocre fighters such a s the P-43 and the P-35, and lost possession of their company Seversky Aircraft (becoming Republic) by the time the churned out this masterpiece.

I made a 1/72 model and it really is HUGE compared to the rest on my shelf. Come to think of it, the fearsome me109 is pretty small compared even to spitfires and Hurri's

  • Phwoar
