every story comes to an end. And i think aang's story ended perfectly. Maybe they didnt answer some questions but i feel like the series can survive with a new story because its many about this kind of world. The reason this show is so amazing is because of the surroundings and the martial arts. Aang will be greatly missed but they ended it, the book ended.

Anyone else find it strange how Korra mastered Firebending the most out of all the elements when it's the opposite of her native element? I remember Roku wouldn't use Waterbending unless really called to and Aang having difficulty in mastering Earthbending.
I will miss the old characters ( Zuko <3) and I really wanted to find out what happened to his mother but I'm kind of happy the left it were it was, that series was PERFECT and if they continued on they MIGHT have ruined it. I have hope that this is going to be a great series too but IMO NOTHING can live up to the orignial Avatar.
@KaitokunArtist This will play out like 50-100 years or so after the first 3 season, Aang is unfortunattly dead and Korra is the new avatar. But The old characters children/grand chlildren will be in this one! :D

@theicechinchilla I don't think the sky bison is hers, I think just the polar bear dog. Part of the story though is that Aang found a similar species of sky bison after the war and that is why they showed it

The effort they have put into crafting this show is incredible. You can just tell b looking at it that they've worked their butt off to put this together. I cannot wait. When I heard Avatar was ending, I nearly died. So sad. Miss it so much. So excited for this and good to hear more eps have been ordered.
I only hope we get a resolution on Zuko's mother. Who's lame-ass idea was it to being up Zuko's mom in the series finale and not resolve it at all?
@MissLaughALot9799 70 years and rapid technological progression does that to a village. i mean look at the northern air temple in the last airbender. it was steampunk all the way back then. lol but i'm sure there are not giant cities everywhere in the avatar world. united republic is an anomaly among the ba sing se and Omashu's of the avatar world. villages realistically still highly outnumber cities with ease as they still do in the real world today.
@AndrewMythdust it's 70 years later.... even Aang and Katara were dead, and in the original, Aang was only 12 (technically, he was 112, but he was physically 12, and Katara was 14. Azula is dead by 70 years later.
At first I didn't like the modern world, but it actually looks kind of cool. Maybe it's just nice hearing the Avatar theme again and I'm distracted. In all seriousness, this trailer is pretty sweet.

I remember when the creators gave Katara "hair loopies" because the animators said that it was too hard to animate the hair in locks. I'm glad to see that they gave Korra the locks, both because it's more of her style, and that she looks slightly different, but still like she's from the Water Tribe (like Katara).
@Leeeeeeeeeeeeeee25 The issue with Zuko's mother WILL be addressed. There is an episode entitled "Skeletons in the Closet" which will resolve the issue. As to the rebuilding of the nations, I'm sure that's going to be explained within the context of the series and if nothing else by Aang as he acts a a spiritual guide to Korra as Roku was to him.
The new waterbending style reminds me a bit of the Dancing Dragon, in the way the way that it is more solid, and has a slightly blocky, pounding feel.
I believe the guy at the end who pointed &, said "The Avatar" was Bolin. It's rumored that he may be the grandson of Sokka & Suki. If so it would make sense he sounds & acts just like Sokka. But idk just have to wait & see when it comes out or wait for moer info to be released.

My best guess is that Amon is a descendant of Jet, because Jet didn't like Zuko & Iroh, who were firebenders. And after Katara gave him an, ah, COLD shoulder and his plans to flood the village were thwarted, I imagine that he didn't care for benders anymore, especially the Avatar.

No.The Statue of Liberty itself was based on the dimensions of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the ancient seven wonders of the world from Greece.So while it is likely they did base it on the Statue of Liberty, as this show has fantasy elements and the writers seemed to be well versed in history,it may also be inspired by the Colossus of Rhodes.If looking like it makes it fake instead of inspired, than the Statue of Liberty is a fake Colossus of Rhodes,and we both know it's not ^_^

The effort they have put into crafting this show is incredible. You can just tell b looking at it that they've worked their butt off to put this together. I cannot wait. When I heard Avatar was ending, I nearly died. So sad. Miss it so much. So excited for this and good to hear more eps have been ordered.
I only hope we get a resolution on Zuko's mother. Who's lame-ass idea was it to being up Zuko's mom in the series finale and not resolve it at all?

@MissLaughALot9799 70 years and rapid technological progression does that to a village. i mean look at the northern air temple in the last airbender. it was steampunk all the way back then. lol but i'm sure there are not giant cities everywhere in the avatar world. united republic is an anomaly among the ba sing se and Omashu's of the avatar world. villages realistically still highly outnumber cities with ease as they still do in the real world today.

@AndrewMythdust it's 70 years later.... even Aang and Katara were dead, and in the original, Aang was only 12 (technically, he was 112, but he was physically 12, and Katara was 14. Azula is dead by 70 years later.

I remember when the creators gave Katara "hair loopies" because the animators said that it was too hard to animate the hair in locks. I'm glad to see that they gave Korra the locks, both because it's more of her style, and that she looks slightly different, but still like she's from the Water Tribe (like Katara).

@Leeeeeeeeeeeeeee25 The issue with Zuko's mother WILL be addressed. There is an episode entitled "Skeletons in the Closet" which will resolve the issue. As to the rebuilding of the nations, I'm sure that's going to be explained within the context of the series and if nothing else by Aang as he acts a a spiritual guide to Korra as Roku was to him.

I believe the guy at the end who pointed &, said "The Avatar" was Bolin. It's rumored that he may be the grandson of Sokka & Suki. If so it would make sense he sounds & acts just like Sokka. But idk just have to wait & see when it comes out or wait for moer info to be released.

My best guess is that Amon is a descendant of Jet, because Jet didn't like Zuko & Iroh, who were firebenders. And after Katara gave him an, ah, COLD shoulder and his plans to flood the village were thwarted, I imagine that he didn't care for benders anymore, especially the Avatar.

@Kogerii At Comic-Con they revealed 2 brothers: a serious and somewhat brooding firebender named Mako and a goofier younger earthbender named Bolin. Also Bolin has an adorable fire ferret (red panda/ferret hybrid) named Pabu.
