  • iran`s president said it : "its a shame to have nuclear weapons. "

  • @alpastor92 I have heard him say false statements before...

  • I fascinate this talk.

  • Dirty dershowitz should be expelled from America and sent to the only place he cares about - israel.... I can't believe that the American people allow this lying zionist trash to be in a position of control over students. Appalling.

    --

  • @ThunderDog97

    this exactly what's killing me if the ZIONISTs love SOOOO MUCH ISRAEL

    JUST GO THERE!!

    but nooooo the most 'HARDCORE' israel lover happen to live outside of israel and go there one time or two per vacations... hopefully there is some really good people in israel. the majority of em i would say! but no one talk about em they are like ron paul for the US

  • Strange thing is that the most chaotic islamic country does have nuclear weapons and yet the US wants to go to war with Iran. I have no admiration for the country of Iran just as I have no admiration for any country that does not allow basic freedoms to its own citizens and that would include mine if that be the case.

  • The New York Times beat the drum for war after 9-11, too. They didn't print any of the letters from surviving families saying the last things their family members would want would be for more people to be killed by the US attacking another country in reprisal.

  • @givebirthathome Oh they've been itching to get us to go to war with Iran for some time now. That would not only put the final nail in the coffin of the US economy. Not only kill thousands more if not millions but it could also be WW3!

  • @PMnews1 Oh yes, I know that. I've been speaking out against attacking Iran since 2004. And now we have the wikileak that Israel was pressuring us to do it.

    Maybe why Feinstein, Lieberman and Schumer are so particularly vociferously calling for Assange to be prosecuted under the Espionage Act. It might get in the way of the wars they want.

  • A better question than -- "is there a weapons program in Iran," is, why are we so worried about a weapons program in Iran? Nobody seems to be worried about several hundred nukes in Israel that its leaders have threatened to use on the whole world if it gets attacked. Iran has made no such threats.

  • @PMnews1 Check out Flynt Leverett's site, he quotes articles with Israeli sources, that they know very well even an Iranian bomb would not be an existential threat to Israel. However, they do *want* Iran to be bombed for their economic advantage.

  • Global warming is REAL and we need you to help usher in carbon offset trading taxes and help prevent Congress from stalling on progress toward environmental sustainability and momentous profitability.

    Only through partnerships with YOU, the global citizen, can we help save and unite the planet.

    We applaud President Barak Obama and former Vice President, Al Gore for re-engaging in this significant C02 endeavor.

    The green revolution means unprecedented prosperity for corporations around the globe.

  • @CorporateRule yeah... so then the corporations can find loopholes around that at the taxpayers expense... nice try... pimp your theories elsewhere.

  • We all know who s the real thread in the me

  • Ray McGovern for President!

  • funny thing is, i can't access wikileaks at the moment even though my internet is working, either they're going under a server maintenance, or something fishy is going on?

  • The interviewee acts as if the US continuously disregarded the intelligence. That is not true. Up until early 2010 the White House believed there was no weapons program. That changed when there was evidence of Iran possessing a UD3 "trigger mechanism" that "only has one use."

  • C'mon Jews, don't let these Satanists start another war in your name. The world is onto you!

  • hmmmmm

  • GREAT JOB RAY & THE REAL NEWS!

    DONATE MONEY FOR THE REAL NEWS PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY AMERICANS!!!

  • This is NOT a Security issue, This is only about CRIMES against citizens.

  • Oh no, not the scumbag Dershowitz again...

  • FANTASTIC interview A+!

  • Dershowitz has a long record of lying and fraud...this is no surprise.

  • @pazomblez The NIE applied only to the production of warheads--and it judged with only "moderate" certainty that the suspension had not been lifted already. The most dangerous aspect of the program, the production of fissile material, has increased dramatically since 2006--and so has the production of missiles. The NIE was so obviously politicized with regard to its sweeping language, that it crossed the line from intelligence to conjecture.

  • @pazomblez Dershowitz is an Uber Zionist, so whatever he says will always fit nicely into the Agenda. Agreed strongly. I generally dismiss anything coming from his mouth.

  • Iran is also a signatory to a mutual defense agreement with Russia. How do 20,000 Russian nukes figure into the NYT's war drum beating?

  • Iran has no nukes we know of. Israel, Pakistan and India DO and refuse to sign up to the non-ploliferation treaty. Mmmm....

  • @MrDarkbloom

    yeah but but but wait what ? shit... but wait hummm THEY INVADED IRAK !?!?!?!!! What ? no ?? irak invaded em ? oh shit let' bomb em because they are against our freedom ? come on !!! let's do something !!! i mean israel want it so bad !!! we should win the zionist vote and media damn it ! :D

  • all this is a well orchestrated new technique to get people hyped up for a war that is based on nothing but new-cons capitalists agendas. Iraq >>> WMDs, Afghanistan >>> who the F%@# knows? as many assholes that many opinions! I guess people are either going to wake up or if this false flag tend to stay on long enough, will be the main cause of WW3. welcome to the new age of technology used against the human race.

  • Remember the NYTimes's Judith Miller, who was spoon-fed what to write by Washington, D.C. Then Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz or some other Chicken-Hawk would hold up the paper and say, "lookit what the NYTime says!"

  • The reason that newspapers are dyeing is because they've lost credibility. Who would pay to have lies dropped on there doorstep every morning?

  • great analysis as always .

    *****

  • Very interesting stuff

  • Superb interview -- chocked full of more facts that the NYT or CBS or NPR can shake a stick at. Citizens the world over have declining access on the levers of power and we can only watch helplessly while the ruling elites destroy the future.

  • Dershowitz reminds me of that slimy climategate scientist.

  • @oitnktheylikeme If you're gonna promote yourself, atleast comment on the video first and add it as a BTW. Otherwise it just comes across as spam and general bad form. :)

  • Actually, I don't think the cables reveal that Iran has or wants nukes so much as the fact that its neighbors - US allies - want the US to attack. When you're in the 5th grade and you're not big enough to beat up the eighth grader, you get the 12th grader to do it. DO NOT TRUST THE CORPORATE MEDIA SPIN. Wikileaks does reveal, however, that we here in the US has a media that functions to protect the politicians and not to tell the truth to the American people.

  • Wikileaks claims Iraq had WMD's

    Wikileaks claims Iran bought nukes from North Korea

    Wikileaks has no mention of Israel's corrupt actions

    So far, no one has ever suffered any consequences from the Wikileaks "leaks". The only thing to come of them is the demonisation of China, Iran and North Korea not to mention the accusation that Pakistan is a nuclear threat to the world.

  • "This is taking place in the midst of an historic shift of the center of gravity of world affairs from the Atlantic to the Pacific. The regions may confront each other as strategic and economic adversaries. The emergence of a new regional mercantilism and confrontation by groups possessing weapons of mass destruction needs to be resisted. A return to mercantilism and 19th-century diplomacy would divide the world into competing regional units with dangerous long-term consequences."-Kissinger

  • It is so obvious. The United States Govt. is not just pro-israel, it is absolutely being run by the zionists in israel and in the U.S., for the benefit of zionists everywhere. From the zionists that own and control the Federal reserve banking system, all the way to our elected pro-israel zionist presidents. America and Americans are being used as pawns to make the world elite wealthier, while real Americans can't even get a job to support their families.

  • Thankyou to RT and especially , Ray McGovern for being the voice of reason. Israel can forget it. There are WMD`s nor were there ever any, as there are no Nuclear Weapons Facilities in Iran. Never were, although they have been blamed for this by Israel and their puppets in the U.S. ZOG so many times it`s pathetic. Let`s get this straight, Israel has a Nuclear Weapons Plant in the Negev Desert near Dimona and has been active since JFK.

  • "We judge with high confidence that in fall 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program" was qualified by a footnote whose complex phraseology obfuscated that the suspension really applied to only one aspect of the Iranian nuclear weapons program (and not even the most significant one): the construction of warheads. On the latter point, the new estimate expresses only "moderate" confidence that the suspension has not been lifted already.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman you are using hijacked name. This user under this name has no activities in the past 4 days. Who are u?

  • The concern about Iranian nuclear weapons has had three components: the production of fissile material, the development of missiles and the building of warheads. Heretofore, production of fissile material has been treated as by far the greatest danger, and the pace of Iranian production of fissile material has accelerated since 2006. So has the development of missiles of increasing range. What appears to have been suspended is the engineering aimed at the production of warheads.

  • the host clearly needs to start smiling!

  • @PrimateDynasty Start smiling? What do you mean? Paul acts the way a professional news host should act. Without the emotion that can make it seem to the audience that Paul has a certain biased for a topic by reacting one way or another with a smile or some other way. Truthfully, I like Paul the way he is. If you want emotion go watch CNN, Fox, or MSNBC (and I say this in the most humble way, I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything).

  • @Lexman00 Geesh! relax! TheRealNews is definitely one of my favorite news channels!

  • I don't know whether Iran has a nuclear weapon or not, but I'd like to point something out. That picture of Ahmadinejad with his generals. And the army he has built up, which George W Bush called a terrorist group. That is more of a threat to Israel and Europe than any nuke and that's what the West should be worried about. Those boys look like a force to be reckoned with.

  • the deceptive nature of Machiavellian subversion of wikileaks is too plain to see. One can only read the ''Art of War'' to get a clue. Even David Icke popularised hengel's thesis, antithesis and synthesis in his version ''problem reaction solution''

    I hope the world got the clues yet. America must disappear if this goes on again. I may be a dreamer, but I'd rather like to see america invest in its future, like Iran, then world domination for isra'heil and meet its well deserved doom.

  • "Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy."

    - Henry Kissinger, quoted in "Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POW's in Vietnam"

  • I liked the comment about "I don't do faith based intelligence". I like this Ray McGovern guy.

  • "We need to decide that we will not go to war, whatever reason is conjured up by the politicians or the media, because war in our time is always indiscriminate, a war against innocents, a war against children"

    — Howard Zinn

    War is just so gay, Dan Williams

  • All the freaks are dancing to the wikileak leak

  • If America attacks Iran, it benefits nobody by israel.Iran is not a threat to the united states or any other country,The biggest threat to world peace is, the jewish supremacist that have control over all of the main street media,money,and most of the politician in D.C.Wake up people,stop being lead around by your nose by jewish propaganda.

    For some truth: Theforbiddentruth net

  • @cookiescotthug Not only Israel but America's other big ally in the region, Saudi Arabia, wants Iran stomped on.

  • I used to criticize a US desire to enter war with Iran. But despite that feeling, as I learn more and more everyday about Islam, how it's followers percieve it, the cumulative effect of growing populations of muslim believers, and the types of societies that their blind faith has enabled, i feel much less that we should let them alone. I don't want a Sha'ria law government researching Nuclear physics. It's not like we don't have our own problems though. #1 prison population per capita.

  • A false flag blamed on Iran? The US will find some reason to attack.

  • The problem is... The Information wikileaks posts as FACT is in fact cherry picked seeded info. Its not 100% Factual.

    And every release NEVER mentions israel AT ALL.

    Does Ray McGovern skip over this point deliberately?

  • Good point. Wikileaks never really weakened Israel's position with the US but help enhance it by quoting corrupt Arab leaders about Iran.

  • Its a Zionists world... we're just living in it

  • Great video! Very important -- people should share it; it's a pity it only has 300 views.

  • @bigsoundz Youtubes viewcount gets reeeally slow after hitting the 300 mark.

  • ISRAEL'S AGGRESSION AND WARMONGERING MUST END, THIS " WE ARE THE VICTIM" TYPE OF REASONING MUST END, ISRAEL IS A THREAT TO WORLD PEACE AND MUST BE DEALT WITH BEFORE THEY START ANOTHER WAR BASED ON LIES!

  • I like this Ray McGovern, such a smart man and he speaks the truth. His motto is, no speculation let's stick to the facts.The crooks in Washington can't stand that they don't have any evidence against Iran. Iran is innocent and it's about time the US and the UN started pressuring Israel into signing the NPT, we all know they DO have a nuclear arsenal. As for the Saudi's, they are evil shit, I can't believe they would support the massacre of their Muslim brothers because the Iranians are Shia.

  • @Lexman00 nothing to do with Iran being Shia, it's all to do with Iran being a regional power and the Saudi royal family & the US govt don't want anyone upsetting the status quo, which for them is Saudi remaining this neo-feudal client state of the US. A client state that will pump oil, get paid for it in dollars and then buy American weapons with a good chunk of those dollars.

  • Let me say it for you then Obummer---you spineless asshole

    ~~~~~~~~~~IRAN HAS NO ATOMIC WEAPONS PROGRAM!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The whole fucking world knows it! So fuck off Isreal!!!
    So tired of this shit
  • Considering that these leaks are now in the hands of the mainstream media we shouldn't be surprised that they try to spin them in an attempt to advance the goals of American foreign policy.
  • US are Provoking because we are falling.
  • Good interview. I don't agree that Assange is legit though. I've followed wikileaks for more than 2 years now and at some point about 12 months ago it began turning into something other than what it claims to be. This was about the same time it started getting massive coverage on the mainstream media. Something is fishy with that website, it's sources and backroom deals. The fact that it never releases anything bad re: Israel is huge considering what it deals with.
  • @danmanjones
    Good point, but I am also considering the possibility that the Israeli Government took steps -many years ago- to greatly minimize the risk of leaks occuring. Israeli policy seems to be the "three's a crowd" rule. I think this is why nothing from Israel has been leaked to Wikileaks. They have more secure protocols for dealing with information and intelligence sharing.
  • Ray McGovern, ex CIA vs
    Al Dershowitz, Merkin Likud.
  • how is the mass media going to trick the people into accepting a war with Iran?
  • @TheJsmth1234
    Most Americans are brain-dead morons, so it's not that hard really.
  • @TheJsmth1234 I believe they achieve it with a number of things. Not only is it their still expansive audience, due to the fact that most people are so tired and stressed from working all day that they can't make any effort beyond switching on the TV and watching the first thing that pops up. I have freeview and the only decent station is Russia Today [which is questionable at best] on channel '85'. Primarily people like hearing what they want to hear. Most people don't respond to evidence.
  • i love the internet!!!!!
  • The Real News Network is great ! People need to contribute to alternative media, instead of accepting the continued dominance of corporate mainstream news.
  • wow!
  • THANK YOU
  • fastastic report.
  • Ray said they were going to attack Iran in the summer on The Alex Jones show and it didn't happen. Yes the US gov is very stupid but not that stupid to atack Iran. ( I am not pro Iranian just to let you know)
  • @Naqib777
    I think the fact that you are not pro-Iranian is obvious by your name and first line.
  • @Naqib777
    Iran is not Iraq. Iran is very strong that and the fact that they are backed by Russia & Chinna, that's the only reason the USrael haven't started a war with Iran yet. Although no one can predict when a war with Iran will take place, it's going to happen sooner or later, I suspect another false flag attack like 9/11 will be blamed on Iran.
  • @0xTRX007 more likely that US provokes Iran, maybe "accidentally" firing on Iranian military vessel and when Iran responds, the mainstream media will scream 'naked act of aggression'.
  • @ivangrozny27 exactly we must be open for such typical americanzionist tactics, just look at the upcoming nuclear talks that are bound to fail due US want to have a conflict with Iran, they want to use this nuclear debacle as a pretext to start another war. DOWN WITH ISRAEL LIES AND WARMONGERING! Also the only reason israel doesnt engage serious in peace is beause they dont want, they want to have a war.
  • @antekification well said, my friend. War is always good business for the Zionist regime.
  • I wonder how many ordinary people of this world are "deeply concerned about Israel" and their runaway terrorist cabals in the west. A place where defence means aggression and democracy means ethnic cleansing!
    These demonic agendas are impoverishing billions of people, its time for their illusions and tricks to end. Its time that the regimes operating in the west and Israel are dismantled.
  • no one knows who is blowing the smoke behind which mirror these days.
    Cheers for sharing
  • Dammit that was some good info!
  • I'd like iran to have a nuclear weapon. They wouldn't be so stupid to use it but they can threaten Israel with it. I still think that this is the same reason that there was a cold war instead of a hot war. No party then wanted a nuclear war and no party now would like a nuclear war.
  • @frisianmouve
    "I'd like iran to have a nuclear weapon"
    So does the CIA and every neo-con clown invested in US defense contractors...
    Think again!
  • @bofors7715 The president of Iran is mostly a ceremonial position. The real power is with the clerics who practice a strict form of Shia that has no tolerance for collateral damage. They would never use it but considering that the US never attacks any country that can defend themselves it would probably be a good idea.
  • @bofors7715 I see what you mean but also remember that countries without WMDs will almost certainly get attacked because they simply cannot defend themselves conventionally against the US military.
  • @frisianmouve They just had people in the Third World suffer all their wars instead of fighting with each other.
  • Ahmadinejad said the leaks are part of a campaign of psychological warfare against Iran. I suspect he's right
  • Manufacturing consent at its best
  • Ray McGovern telling you how it is
  • @scottishbadboytracks
    Ray McGovern is certainly a very respectable person, but...
    He is actually believe in God, goes to church and stands in protest of Catholic dogma.
    Furthermore, he is unable to acknowledge that 9/11 was a blatant false flag operation and the WTC was blown out with explosives (it is shocking that career CIA analyst can not apparently figure this out).
    Finally, in this interview, McGovern seems totally oblivious to the fact that WikiLeaks is a US propaganda operation.
  • @bofors7715
    WikiLeaks is ZioPoison!
    watch?v=XYIC2BMhE5A
  • this is really eye opener, why dont we see such broadcast on general media!!! people should wake up!!!
  • Ray McGovern - A True American Hero!
  • israel is just the tip of the icebeerg, the foggranade. katar ore dubai are way more interesting for running an asemetric strategie.
  • Salute Ray and Paul for a great interview. Thank YOU, dear Paul, for all the others of YOURS.
    Investigative journalism lived and shared. Lisa
  • Good discussion..
    I respect his clear words on the current war crazy people and their regime.
  • excellent reporting once again.
  • WOW, what a story! Great job. Really. That was amazing!
  • @05:30: -"I don't do faith based intelligence ...". I like Ray McGovern!
  • @Iamfatbrain Ray McGovern made me contribute $10. :-)
  • Good interview.
    Nice guy, it seems.
    Like his assessment of 4 pages of drivel.
    Keep at it Paul.
    Thank you.
    Peace.
  • Wiki is an inside job... WAKEE WAKEE sheeple
  • No problem, zacheh, with the video stopping. If it does..I usually reset the settings from 480 to 360 or 240. The quality of the picture ain´t that good, but still look ´n listen to the program.
  • Fix the problem with the download. It keeps stopping at 2:32.
    I really want to hear what this guy has to say.
  • @ officialusa : check to see if hardware acceleration is turned of in flashplayer
  • @hemelsegast thanks.. it was enabled but its workin now anyway
  • I'm watching it now and the video is playing fine. I'm in Europe, so maybe only views in the US are having problems with the video?
  • anyone else having trouble with this video stopping @2:32?
  • @zacheh I have refreshed a bunch of times and so far it wont play at all
  • @officialusa, try changing the "p" icon from 360 to another. sometimes 480 works, this time 240 worked...
  • @mispistoleros Thanks!! switched to 240 and it worked. I did not have problems at 2:32 either.
  • @zacheh I have the same problem.
  • Does anyone have more recent links to reports on the threat of Iran? There is one from May 2009 from the EastWest Institute. (trying to post link but doesn't work)
  • @orixaofthewind
    YT software blocks links. insert link along the lines of
    w w  w d.o.t theyoungturks dt OnhRhgG
  • We need more Paul Jay's, and more Ray McGoverns
