the line "you only live twice, so do it or die" just jumped into my head today. i googled the line and it reminded me of this beautiful song. love the agelessness of it.
Thanks for posting this song that been playing in my head for all these years. Like you said you can't hear it on the radio. To Lynn, wherever you are this song played on the radio when we were together.
I was in 9th grade when this song came out in 1979; for no reason today, it was in my head and had to hear it again!! Wow!! That's the mark of a great song to stick with you for 32 years!
In this video there is a picture that says 20th centurry masters in the left hand corner. Who is the young guy sitting on the ground with legs crossed? Does anyone know?

Atlanta Rhythm Section's best song! I wonder why this is ignored by the oldies stations?! Peaked on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in July 1979!
Bravo, Atlanta Rhythm Section!
R.I.P. Ronnie Hammond...1951-2011. You were the voice of ARS.

Screw the evil self-effacing music of the current day. This is a beautiful representation of what we USED to be. America...where have you gone to?

THE most under rated, unappreciated song of the entire 70s decade.
