when you have a meteorite impact u have a zone forming a circle of shrapnel and debris towards all directions if this "item was found outside the crater it could possibly be just a pointy part of the rocky soil that was ejected during impact and just landed there.
Merci. I wish more people start pulling out the dozens of objects on the surface and converting them to 3D rendering and unblurr and enhance the obscure picture NASA publishes.
they fornd ice but that could just be something that crashed in the planet but we came from space so it is possible that there are living things there just different
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit. Therefore, douglascook1066 has been blocked from this channel for his obnoxious behavior.
Lest vve forget that if there are structures and artifacts on mars, that they vvould be beneath the surface, and if such artifacts vvere to be found... only the highest points of the structures vvould be visible.
When solid stone like that breaks it forms shapes like this. How? You will ask it is out in the middle of nowhere? Look at the surface of Mars and count the number of meteorite impact craters, and you will find the answer.
What are you talking about? No earthly equivalent? Come to Canada and look at where the Canadian shield is coming apart, and you will find stones like this. Especially around Tobermory Ontario.
I am trying to stay away in my reconstructions from anything that may be construed as faces, Egyptian things, etc. and try to clarify indescribable object. There is only one exception to this rule: the big face!
This does not look real. The track in front of it is not from the rover.
My money is on a more earthly explanation unless someone can provide a link to an original photo in the NASA archive.

Damn cientists, they landed the mars rovers on sea, lake or rivers beds. WHat did you expect to find on such places?

The realm of possibilities in the Universe is infinite. If you can imagine it, it my be possible, they say.

Ya some scientist say living things need water air food maybe they breath toxics and eat and drink rocks

Do you mean the rock? Or the stone next to it? or one of the pebbles? or the half submerged IKEA shelf?
PhiloBalini 2 years ago
Yes, indeed, very unusual rock.

This is simply a shard off of a meteor.

Good point. Curious: You do not have w in your keyboard?

actually mars has global dust storms so it is quite plausible that any artifacts could quite well be covered and uncovered on a regular basis

Well done! It seems fossilized wood. Gusev crater is full of wonderful secrets: Spirit rover has discovered the real "hidden spirit" of mars
