  • Tony 26531 is a idiot.read what Mastereled said. I agree with him.

  • @tony26531 You are really that threatened by John Wayne that you have to go to every video relating to him and write angry comments? If it was one comment I would not respond but is your penis THAT small and your life THAT insignificant that you spend all day looking for John Wayne videos to bash in order to validate yourself?

  • @RichardElden yeah, but whe he was younger BOONE, was pretty good looking..some of us age well some of us don't..genes..BOONE, was a pretty good actor, too..

  • *PASSED

  • @tallthinway3 you're an idiot if you're talking about John Wayne he died of Lung and Stomach cancer june 11th 1979 aged 72

  • People; how old do you think Juan MacReady looks? maybe he or she oughta put his or her picture on the internet since he or she want to pick at someone's looks

  • He had a stomach tumor from nuclear fallout

  • FYI: Richard Boone died of throat cancer and pneumonia. A lot of actors still go out due to cancer. Duke just thought he had beat the "Big C" when they took out one of his lungs. Never occurred to him it would return...especially when he wouldn't stop smoking.

  • @sm9847 Well, he did stop smoking cigarettes.

  • Damn, my house smells like dope. I need to open the windows and air it out............and I'm hungry.

  • @shredder1965 lol 420 friendly!

  • Richard Boone looked 80.

  • @JuanMacready He died from cancer 2 years later in 1981. Perhaps had cancer at that time. Another great actor

  • It's widely considered that the filming of the movie The Conqueror in Utah where many atomic bomb tests were conducted was a major reason for not only Wayne's cancer but also that of director/actor Dick Powell, Agnes Moorehead, Pedro Armendariz, Susan Hayward and John Hoyt. There was a cast and crew of around 220 for this movie and by 1981 ninety one of them had developed some form of cancer and 46 of them had died of the disease. Damn scary.

  • @scorps666 People used to watch atomic bomb tests from the upper floors of Las Vegas hotels, back in those days.

  • @scorps666 Good point.

  • to frankclanton--i don't know when both men were diagnosed--but don't blame them for the smoke-related deaths--because the dangers were not released to the public until 1971-i believe-before that the info were withheld from the public-because tobacco companies wanted profits at any cost--and the companies don't care who smoking kills-and i believe had boone, wayne and many others known-better choices would have been made

  • to FrankClanton--it was said he died from throat cancer in 1981: and by the way;what are you getting at? are you trying to dig up negative info on this actor? He was a nice man; a family man; and we don't need to become a troll and slander someone who's not here to defend himself; that is just wrong and sometimes it can open up a libel lawsuit--let's just focus on good about someone and not listen to rumors

  • I was just wondering when he was diagnosed, after all both Richard Boone and John Wayne died from smoking-related cancers.

  • i never knew his mustache was white--anyway i heard he was a great acting teacher-that he taught many times-and was an advocate for federal funding for the arts-boone's ideas for that holds true even today-we need to keep the arts in school

  • Did he have throat cancer then?

  • boone was probably about 62 years old-here. I will always think of him as paladin; though.

  • If this was the 12th June 1979 then Boone was about to turn 62 in a few days.
