Dear friends, after singing opera for over 40 years, (in Hoffmann alone 7 roles: (the 4 villains, Luther, Schlemil, and Crespel) - may I add just one comment: although I don't know the circumstances about preparing for this concert, but since the septett is SO-OOO short, I would have welcomed to hear (and see) it without y'all relying on the score (Klavierauszug). Keep up the good works my friends! I am 69, have been working in Europe since '79 and am STILL very active.
Nicklausse's part needed to be brought out more! A lot of the time, she has the only the moving part, and I could only hear it because I once sang it! However, beautiful singing, soprano who played Giulietta! Great voices, all of you!

The whole concert was done "concert style". So that is really the only reason why scores were brought on stage. But thanks for the comments. :)
