Not really. 'Seeya'(the girlband) was made to be the female version of the (semi)R&B act SG Wannbe. And their record company modelled SGW's music after Brown Eyes.(mid-tempo ballad with strong R&B influence) So.. Brown Eyes was actually the prototype for those two said groups. And.. some Chinese singer ripped off this song note for note a couple years later. This song(2001, 6) is the original. Almost 8 years old.
