  • you have very feminine hands, yummy

  • You shouldn't speak about other phones they way you do in a phone review

  • @xLTProductionz They know what they're doing, don't worry.

  • How's the battery life on this phone when you have 3G/4G on? I've got the HTC Desire and I find that having my 3G left on all day drains my battery VERY quickly.

  • Question, the dotted line where u can hold ur finger down and move the pages/screen instead of swiping i see numbers pop up, i have this phone and no numbers pop up when i put my finger on the dotted line. is there a setting i need to adjust or is my phone not working right? p.s its brand new. (1month old) thanks.

  • Is this a cdma phone

  • @aishasmileyface Yes, it is.

  • @Neyo1783

My initial 1st bill was $137.69. I received a text reminder yesterday, I have to pay $89.75 monthly (includes Sprint's premium data service fee - which is needed to receive 3/4g signal data + spending limit fees + insurance coverage). But that's my bill, specifically for my plan, the $69.99 450 minutes + unlimited data plan

  • @bobbgraziano SPRINT! If your into gaming, videos and media and not that much of a phone talker, this would be the best carrier with their truly unlimited data plan at $69.99 (cheapest data plan carrier). Note: your first bill will be higher. I had since 12.24.2011 and I made a very wise decision. If you talk alot or use your phone primarily for business, you may have broader choices.

  • @xXxLoyaltyxXx1 how much was your first bill? becuase i was looking at the phone today

  • @angilynn1970 it's the besty!

  • @angilynn1970 neither, it's the best! If you want a buggy or laggy "dumbphone", go with the Galaxy Nexus ☞ iTechHelper1.

  • @iTechHelper1 yeah...umm...show me the PhoneFax! ツ

  • buggy or laggy

  • is this phone buggy or Kathy

  • Best phone I've ever had..better than I phone hands down

  • I got Samsung Galaxy Note! Its like a big bro of Galaxy S II !! LOL :)

  • @xXxLoyaltyxXx1 Yeah! Congrats!

  • @xXxLoyaltyxXx1 galaxy nexus is the phone of 2011

  • ill keep my Epic 4G and wait for the quad core phones to come out

  • Awesome! I am getting THIS phone for christmas and I am going to rape all 1.2 GHz speed, the iOS and all 2 GB of internal space! I am going to do so much with this phone it is going to lag and explode! This is going to be the phone I drive to work in, eat, bathe with, replace my big brother with. I am going to become bubble boy and it's going to be my roommate. Sexy ass phone! Jeez! WOW!

  • This phone us best ever. But I will get that phone so rite now I have HTC EVO 4g

  • great review! definitely getting this phone!

  • NOVA 2 looks like something from halo haha

  • Well whatever you guys want to say, coming from a 1st generation Blackberry Pearl with a trackball, an iPhone or Galaxy is going to be sick. Can't wait for Christmas (y)

  • Evo 3d or samsung galaxy s2? Im sooooooo confused about everything.... I havent changed my phone since 2005.... V_V

  • is this phone in australia?

  • I love my Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch!!! ^___^ its the beat phone I've ever had so glad I picked it over the 4s I am a loyal Samsung buy for life now just bought a 3d t.v as well now I just want a Galaxy tab 8.9 & my collection will be complete. I couldn't be a more satisfied customer

  • Im lookin to get a new phone PHOTON OR EPIC TOUCH????

  • @CvGirth32 Get the Epic 4G Touch. It has a MUCH better UI, screen, camera, and it is faster.

  • @CvGirth32 Epic 4g Touch, there is not one reason you should get the photon over it.

  • Love this review. Love this phone. Thanks for being so thorough. I definitely made the right choice picking this phone.

  • ...a 23-minute review on one phone? Wow! You tore it apart. Awesome review!

  • HD TRAILER >Watches in 360p

  • this or iphone 4S?!?! Dx

  • What an awesome review, thanks Lisa as always your reviews are very thorough and you discuse the points that interest us the most. Per this review I have made up my mind in getting this phone. Thanks again

  • @82ndAD Glad you like our review. Please help us share our reviews with friends and online! Please let us know how you like the phone!

  • Does this phone work well in the heat? My Samsung Instinct gives me a big F-you in the middle of the day in summer and I just have to settle for using it at night or early in the day. It won't even consider charging once it gets in the 90's.

I'm glad you reviewed how well the phone plays video and tv, that's the main thing I use my phone for and it's very choppy on this old phone.

  • iphone 4Shyt hasnt a chance!!

  • Lisa what do you personally prefer?? iPhone 4S or the Galaxy?

  • @TheWatchBot I prefer one of each. ;)

  • at 3:30 u can see her face reflection on the phone

  • That's not a kitchen, and that's not a sandwich.

  • What would be better to get for a cell phone company?

my contract with verizon is about to end and I don't know if I should stay with them or go to Sprint.

I would like to get the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4g or Verizon's Motorola Droid Bionic ?

  • @pookycdm Hey! Here's the deal on those phones(: Epic 4g Touch has a larger battery, larger(4.52) and better screen with Super Amoled Plus while the Bionic only has a 4.0 inch screen and a Pentile display. Pentile pails in comparison to the Super Amoled. Also, the Epic 4g touch is a media powerhouse. Also, the Epic has some cool features such as tilt to zoom. BUT! The Bionic does have a slightly cleaner interface with new Motorola App. Platform. Also the BIONIC has a more lag but faster network.

  • @ChartSlammerLyrics The Bionic has a 4.3" display.

  • @MobileTechReview My bad...That's what I meant! Yes! Bionic has a 4.3 inch LCD screen! Thanks!

  • @pookycdm How about the Droid RAZR coming on the 11th? Evil temptation!

  • THIS PHONE IZ GAY AS HELL! DON'T GET IT YALL, ESPECIALLY IF U GOT AN HTC EVO, YOU'LL BE REGRET IT JUST LIKE ME. REGARDLESS OF WHAT PHONE U GOT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAY ASS PHONE! DON'T!!!!

  • Hey Lisa, is the Epic 4G faster than the Samsung Galaxy S2 from AT&T? Right now I have the iPhone 4 with AT&T and I want a bigger phone and this Epic 4G looks even better with it's 4.5 inch display. I'm considering either the Galaxy S2 with AT&T or the Epic 4G, but I have to switch carriers in order for me to get the Epic 4G.

  • @JSantana319 The difference isn't that big between those two, not worth switching over carriers. The sprint version is a bit better, but since you're coming from the iphone any phone with a display over 4 inches is going to be big. Switch over soon, anroid is a million times better than iOS. iOS has been the same for many years and has the same boring look, with no widgets, customizations, or anything like android.

  • @Mike44PL I will be eligible for an upgrade in mid December. I'm not in a rush to switch, but I would like to test the Android OS. I know iOS still has that same look for over 4 years since they launched, but I still enjoy the user friendly experience it has. Jailbreaking the iPhone makes it much more fun with the ability to use FaceTime on 3G, tether, customize the icons, notifications, and getting free apps, lol. Thanks for your advice man, I really appreciate it :)

  • @JSantana319 The Sprint and AT&T versions use the same CPU, and speeds are the same.

  • Great Review! SGSII, the best phone on the planet.

  • is this better than evo 4g

  • @imserious2187 this phone kills the evo, in every way

  • Very very good review you convinced me into concidering purchasing this phone.

  • @TeeRells711 Thanks! Let us know what you think of the phone.

  • Did I say I love this phone??? Not as much as I love Lisa's reviews though!

  • @reddnmilla Hahaha..thanks!

  • My epic touch scored a 3680 and has also scored a 3466!

  • i usually hate the ads, but the Tmobile girl is so cute.

  • I have an iphone but personally, i want to try a new phone, simply because i got bore of the same iphone lool and intrnal functions does'n change no matter how many new iphones they make

  • @password8866 I got bored of my iPhone 3GS which I had for a little over two years, I switched to Sprint and got this phone. Everything is amazing, except the signal reception is gawd awful, which is probably the most important aspect of a phone...

  • @password8866 smart move this phone has waaaaayyyyyy more customization including animated wallpapers widgets ect.

  • Have you used the phone for an extended amount of time with usage such as surfing the net/playing videos/playing games? If so, experienced any overheating problems? I read from a large bunch of ppl online that they went through multiple of the same phone with overheating issue, hoping it isn't a problem with the majority? :/ Please answer. :] Thanks

  • @babyblueg4o9 It does get pretty warm if you play a 3D game for 10 minutes, but it has caused any problems.

  • @MobileTechReview What about cellphone signal reception? I am finding the signal reception to be absolutely atrocious, especially when in a large building (which when I'm not home most of the time I'm at a university for school or in a building for work). Utterly unacceptable.

  • @babyblueg4o9 It really depends on the reception of the area. Sprint's coverage can be very spotty in some areas.

  • Mine should be here thursday!!!!

  • @TheDudimus Do let us know how you like the phone. Thanks!

  • @MobileTechReview I will thanks!

  • Hey can you tell if the moravianotification light issue from the original epic 4g is fixed?. And does it have a better battery life?

  • i dont understand why 4 people would dislike this. probably iphone dickeaters

  • GReat review! This is what I expect.

  • @DjEyezLow Thank you!

  • You do the best reviews please don't change a thing this is the winning formula. Note to all the other guys this is how you do a review.

  • @fataldesain Thank you very much for the support! Please share our reviews. :-)

  • i want to get and android device but i have one question- can you turn off that notification indicator "themeekac' is talking about?

  • lisa, is the screen really that big? does it look like a jumbo phone? because im not sure if i should get this phone on tmobile or the htc amaze. would you say the screen is a little too big? these phones are becoming tablets now..

  • I love large screen phones

  • I can't decide between getting this phone or waiting to see if Sprint will get the Nexus Prime, and since we received the GS2 SO late, compared to Europe, does that mean the GS3 is just around the corner? And will they release it globally at the same time? ARGH

  • your voice is so relaxing...i can watch your reviews all day x)

  • 4.5 inches? Bleh... My evo's already too big

  • The reason Samsung doesnt up the resolution is bcaus the super amoled plus screen doesnt need it. U put this phone up against Evo 3D the Photon & the iPhone4 & u'll c that the Touch has noticeably brighter deeper darker colors & the the display on web pages isn't any more pixelated or less clear than the higher res displays. I have no idea how Samsung does it but the super amoled screens still look better even w/a lower resolution.

  • Lisa can u tell me if the red notification indicator light is supposed to blink all the time? I have noticed that even when i have no new notifications, the red light at the top right intermittently flashes at all times even just sitting idle as it is right now. I love the phone but just wondering why the red light won't stop flashing

  • @TheMeekac Our unit doesn't do that. Hmmm...

  • I can watch your reviews for hours. Really great content.

  • @SnoopyTimes Awesome!

  • I love you Lisa!

  • I go to Phonedog and Technobuffalo usually as my favorites, but if I ever want a full detailed review I always go here. Good job LIsa!

  • @venasara Appreciate the support!

  • Another great review! But just for clarification, doesn't it have TW 4.0 now?

  • Wow this review was very complete. Thanks for showing us everything.

  • @lNTOTHEGRAVE You are welcome! Thank you for the support! Please share and Like our reviews. Thanks! ;-)

  • i thought you guys was going to cover the HTC EVENT? it must have been boring cuz no ones posting any videos about it!

  • Wow well this phone does look pretty good but I'm still a bit torn about getting it because I really wish it had a outer camera button on it and that it wasn't so damn big because the evo 4g and the evo 3d are both big phones but they both can at lest still fit in your pocket pretty good but this phone is like a mini tablet that you can call with,I mean there is such a thing as too big!

  • I got the EVO 3D in June but gave it to my Fiancée' yesterday, why, I got the Samsung Galaxy S II from Sprint. I like the louder speaker and the clear display. Still putting my Android apps on it. I have a 32GB microSD with the internal 16GB. I also have the MHL Adapter so I can see the phone on my HDTV.

  • @Frederickandre1 Excellent!!

  • Did you take speech classes to learn how to speak like this? I'd love to have your charisma!

  • @MagicDrumSticks Thanks! ;-) Please share our reviews. ;-)

  • I find it looks better than qhd

  • forgot to mention the sub-pixels of the super amoled plus screen. which actually increases the visible resolution to appear even better than qhd....put them side by side...(i have) and this blows and qhd phone display...even the evo 3d.

  • The ATT version will have a better display because has a smaller display!

  • I heard the ATT version comes out either October 2nd or third

  • all you idiots who are crying about this phone is faster than that phone yada, yada, yada, what difference does it make, they're phones not race cars, the only importance is whether or not they work properly and every network has it's pluses and minuses, damn...

  • Lisa, thanks for a great review as usual. Does this phone take forever to charge the battery like the original Galaxy S? Thnx.

  • Lisa you are the best of the best

  • @Ricko230 Thank you!!! Please share and Like our reviews. Thanks! ;-)

  • @Ricko230 I have to agree......I have been watching Lisa's reviews for the past 4 years, because they ARE the most comprehensive and thorougly reviewed from what I've what seen versus other mobile-techblogs

    .

  • @jay84virgo i agree

  • @jay84virgo, I agree. This woman is the best of all the YouTube phone reviewers, and I have seen them all. The one I can't stand is that guy with the shaved head who lets his personal, wannabe cutesy/funny comments get in the way.

  • Another great review MTC! Very informative! I am awaiting the new nVidia Tegra 3 chips to be released before I upgrade my phone though....

  • HTC EVO 3D OR THIS

    Help plzz !?!?!

  • @andrewgarciasb4 Definetly the GS2!

  • Sprint Internet speeds are horrible. My T-mobile sensation 4 g hit between 2mbps to 9 Mbps. Sprint ? From 0.1 Kbps to 5 Mbps no kidding.

  • @ItsTheTechMan we don't know yet, T-mobile hasn't announced the date. But it looks likely will come with a 1.5 Ghz dual core qualcomm processor

  • Just got a new 2 yr Sprint contract, got the Photon. Should I switch?

  • When does the tmobile version come out?

  • I'll see what happens. I won't buy a smartphone until the end of the year. I want to see Nexus Prime and iPhone 5 and Nokia's WP7s. Then there is T-Mobile and At&t's merger. I really want to buy the T-Mobile version unlocked so that I can use $30 pre-paid plan here and there. I don't see why someone should pay data when you have so many free hotspots around you. The $30 plan comes with 30MB of data. Just enough for Google Maps directions.

  • Comment removed

  • When does this come out for tmobile?

  • Sprints version of the GSll is the hottest one

  • Lisa you make me wanna buy every device you review! and I love Samsung! Fantastic review as usual!

  • @reddnmilla Thanks!! Please share and Like our reviews! Thanks! ;-)

  • And to clarify I have this phone and I cant change the resolution

  • Why am i unable to change the resolution to 1080p on youtube when watching videos?

  • @lalo12351235m I found out the best way to select 1080P for videos it to do a light tap on the resolution selector then a light tap on 1080P. My Samsung Epic 4G Touch play 1080P videos with this method. If you press down too hard you will select the whole screen which will only enlarge the video.

  • would it be cheaper for sprint, at&t, or tmobile????

  • Wow, thanks for this really good and thorough review!

  • @obeyhbtheillest Thanks!

  • When is the att version coming out?

  • I want the att version

  • Wow

  • I just can't wait to get the AT&T version!!!

  • The phone is very nice. But the colors on the display? Even through a video camera i could puke if i see that green^^ Its very unnatural imho.

  • fuck mah mind thats amazing phone

  • @mobiletechreview 7:13 you said: "it has touchwiz 3.0 that we have seen on other phones". Thats not correct. Its touchwiz 4.0 and its the first phone in the US to have it. Also the camera app, isnt just a standard app, it also lets you custimize the camera layout with settings shortcuts. Other then that you are one of my favorite phone reviews. Thanks fir covering gaming! Im getting my gsii today.

  • Fuck Sprint service is terrible enough said

  • Why when i have on my Motorola Defy installed ROM of 2.3.4

and overclocked the CPU to 1.2 ghz i have 2300 score in quadrant..

If you have in dual core 1.2 ghz such score?

weird but i am happy to have such fast phone.

  • Great review

  • i have used this phone in sunlight for a good wile and i could see everything perfectly. You have to make sure to switch the "outdoor visibility" mode on for best view. Great review as always though. :)

  • This phone sucks! iPhone 4 spits on this.... LOL just joking. I do have an iPhone, but this phone is amazing. Will it be on AT&T?

  • Getting this on Friday.

  • @darklink2000 Let us know how you like it!

  • @MobileTechReview Have got the phone for a few hours, just switched to Sprint from T-Mobile on a Nexus One. This phone is fantastic and your review is clear on the features it offers.

  • @darklink2000 Awesome! Congrats!

  • Did they say or confirm if this has Wifi calling?

  • Oh, and as fast as it is now, once you root this thing and load a custom rom (say, Cyanogen or an MIUI rom) on it, there will be no equal. Suck it, iPhone.

  • Lisa can u please check the Wi-Fi direct feature?

  • Damn nice phone

  • I really like the four standard buttons Sprint has with their version. I wish at&t did this with their phone, but I'm still excited regardless of a physical home button.

  • the only reviews i can watch for more then 10mins..... Great Reviews!

  • @lainey674 Thanks!! Please share and Like our videos. Thanks for your support! ;-)

  • @MobileTechReview In your personal opinion lisa, is this phone to big?

  • GREAT review.

  • I love how long and detailed Lisa's reviews are and her voice is so soothing

  • its def. touchwiz 4.0, thats why you could scroll like you did in the beginning...

Also, I have an evo 3d until tomorrow, and I must say, its nothing like the evo scrolling lol.

  • QUADRANT, LISA, CAN YOU USE IT ?!? Also I just noticed the name... I wonder how long the names would have to get before they begin to get ridiculous, in the developers' minds, that is... Because I think this one is ridiculous as all hell... For Fuck's sake man, can't you just call it Galaxy S2 4G... Do you really have to call it "Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch"... My God...

  • @bigsteamfan

OTHER VIDEOS, CAN YOU WATCH THEM?!? And yes, the name is beyond stupid. Just call it the Epic 2. Adding "Touch" in there is redundant.
