Whats lazy about sunscreen, Love the sun love the sunscreen, sunscreen is what i need to make my life blue without the dark drizzel cloudy sky rain. I'm so excited about sunscreen cos its about the yellow warm sun, the bright blue sky :)
but in the description box where you talked about being in the tanning bed for 10 mins= a full day in the sun isnt true. being in the tanning bed for 5 mins= an hour..which is still bad. i agree tanning is bad but i have gone to the tanning be on occasion.
Also fake tans look crap, nothing sexier than a natural tanned surfer girl/surfer guy or generally outdoorsier person - they just look way healthier. The myth that sunscreen that has neurotoxins and cancer causing chemicals that in fact cause cancer is sadly due to profiteers companies. These chemicals get absorbed into your body. Read up on net about sunscreen or u can continue to use these chemicals on ur body.
@SkateAndCheerGirl haha yes...defintely. My skin is slightly darker tho...from born and growing up in tropical climate, so i have found much problem with getting sunburnt for long times in the sun. But for more sensitive skin/skin tones i definitely agree. I just think that it is important to be informed about the chemicals your putting on your body, dont just trust a company brand label.
I used to get acne towards end of highschool, beginning of uni when i was mainly inside wif books and used sunscreen. i stopped using sunscreen and went out in the sun alot, coincidently acne also gradually stopped. Sun being bad for you has been perpetuated alot of industry. I go out in the sun alot nowadays, and skin is jst looks generally better. Vitamin D is good at preventing wrinkles and helps your skin retain moisture. Sun is the best source of Vitamin D.
@Sunny066 Sun isn't "bad," but its damage is cumulative, meaning you don't see the damage (wrinkles, age spots/hyper-pigmentation) until it's 'too late.' If you persistently expose your skin to the sun w/out protection, you'll experience premature photo-aging, period. No respectable dermatologist would ever advise foregoing the protection of a block; yes, Vit D is crucially important, but not at the cost of increasing your risk of getting skin cancer (or at the very least premature wrinkles).
hi please google cosmeticscop and check out Paula's videos (bottom left) on the website and especially video archive which you will see top right when you go into the videos. Hey! i have the aveeno one too! but did you hear about the EWG rating on sunscreen? they are annoying.. they said aveeno is bad. and same with the other major brand names.. they choose a bunch of no name brands that i never heard of as their top choice for low health risk and all the major brands name they basically said were bad for your health.. im still trying to figure out if they are really right.. by the way nice dress!
Good video you don't sound like a huge dumbass like a lot of make up guru's who just like the sound of their voice and babble on and on about nonsense.
I agree with you beacuse sun is 1 of the free radical that faster you skin Ageing.
I dont agree with you beacuse the sun is not the only radical that will make you look older. Air pollution is even bad as the sun. Poor diet will faster you Ageing. Stress is a radical too. But whatever we do, we will get wrinkels someday. nobody can stop the biological ageing.
wow this video was very informative and entertaining at the same time. good job! i learned a lot :) ..gonna go protect my skin now and read all the ingredients in my skin stuff
Thanks for doing this video very helpful I bought a sunscreen but it have oxybenzone and its an Aveeno brand. Can you please tell me what are the good ingredients.
Awesome!! I am really looking forward to your skincare videos and reviews. I am 21, but very interested in starting anti aging prevention. I only learned about this when I was 18, and started wearing sunscreen at 19 but I still want to learn more and I liked this video alot!!
Protect your skin if you dont want wrinkles from the sun BUT!...
Make sure you take a vitamin D3 supplemeant to make up for it. !
Its prevents cancers, flus, colds and other illness. This is why we tend to fall more sick in the winter months... vitimin d deficeintcy... look it up x
You aren't necessarily protected against UVB (UVC doesn't reach the earth's surface) if your sunscreen protects against UVA. Some chemical filters only protect against UVA, some UVB and some a combination of both. Chemical filters (all those except titanium dioxide and zinc oxide) do not "block" the sun's rays. They absorb them, then convert the energy into heat. Studies have shown that this process can actually cause free-radical damage and an antioxidant serum should be use to counter this.
In my country we don't have too much sun in winter, that seems to have started already lol, it's just clear grey sky without any obvious sunrays. Do I have to apply the sunscreen? I feel stupid like doing so.
$9 billion pharmaceutical giant Schering-Plough (Coppertone) reported sun-care related sales of $204 million in 2005, up 16 percent from 2004 and up 40 percent from 2003, making the division one of Schering-Ploughs best performers by percentage growth.
Cosmetic Corporations These giant cosmeceutical firms are driven by multibillion-dollar profits and are the leading purveyors of sun scare. These sunscreen manufacturers are marketing their products to block any and all UV exposure rather than simply for sunburn prevention. Sunscreen companies are enjoying record profits right now.
Scaring people out of the sun is a multibillion-dollar business. Smart Tan coined the term sun scare in 1996 to properly identify those who were distorting the truth about sunshines complex relationship with human health in order to scare you out of the sun. Some sun scare groups profit by marketing a distorted sun abstinence message, while others simply tell you to avoid any and all sun exposure because they dont trust you to make your own decision about proper sun care.
i've got a question if u hav put on a spf moisturizer and then makeup pn top of tht on your face will u have to reapply the spf moisturizer throughout the day and wont that ruin the makeup when u put the spf moisturizer on top?
Sunscreen is an important issue and she raises a few good points here, but I don't think you should believe what she says completely. She is not a dermatologist and I'm sure she got most of her information from online sites and magazines. She claims that free radicals attack the skin, but they are actually generated internally when molecular bonds split after sun exposure. I don't like how she personifies UV rays and other terms to make the information "easier" to understand. It's not cute!
OMG I love you hahaha thank you so much =) i will start reading the engreedients!!!! =) and put some sunscreen on i have Aveno positibly ageless like spf 75
So if u are using a moisturizer w/ sunscreen of a spf 30, do u have to reapply through out the day? Because I know some sunscreen bottle said to reapply every 2 hrs? so if you're wearing makeup over your moisturizer, and have to reapply, how would that work? I'm sorry if that is a stupid question, i was just always wondering about it.
hey thank you SO MUCH for doing this video...I'm constantly lecturing people on this, everyone thinks I'm crazy...but they'll see~~~anyway, this video sums it all up perfectly so great job on that!!!
hmm i'm not sure if you can equate sunscreen as TREATMENT. it's an excellent preventative measure to take but once the sun has tanned your skin, there's nothing sunscreen can do to reverse that damage. you need much stronger, much more expensive products that have amino acids to help rebuild the broken dna that the sun has destroyed.
I wear fake-tan pretty much all the time but i'm worried that if i put sunscreen on top of that it'll break up and streak, do you know if there are any sunscreens out there which wouldn't make me look like i've got some sort of disease?
uh, yeah i got that, i was actually meaning ur face features , something about ur face does not look the same, maybe it is the cut making ur face different...man it shows...
omg u cut your hair!!! i remember i was so sad when i cut my hair short after having long hair for so long. but sometimes, we just have to cut off that much to make it healthy and get rid of split ends.
i use powder and/or foundation with spf and i use moisturizer with spf. it's so important.
raw organic coconut oil is good for your skin inside and out as well. check out underground wellness videos, dude know his shit :D not really keen on the makeup vids but i could get used to more vids like this :)
is there a sunscreen you recommend? I can't stand the way it smells, so I am always looking for new ones. Any help from anyone would be great! Thanks :)
I'm also into anti-aging. I have Shiseido spf 55, but want to get a lower one to wear every day because according to magazines and the news, they all say that anything higher than that is not going to be more effective.
remember to look for broad spectrum! Many times the built in sunscreen in moisturizers won't cut it if you'll be outside for awhile.
Raspberry seed oil has spf properties, and there are minerals which act as a physical sunblock. We need to be careful of those nanoparticles tho... there's worry about those things =]
Having a SPF of 60 is misleading for consumers because it does not necessary mean the higher the SPF the higher the protection. It can actually protect less if you use one that is too 'high'. In Australia here they do not allow more than SPF of 30.
is it enough sun protection to use the missha bb cream with spf 42 PA +++ ? Or do I have to wear sunscreen underneath it? Btw, what is the difference between sunscreen and sunblock? thanks!
Does the cream SPECIFICALLY say that it protects against UVA as well?? If not, then you do need sunscreen. Or at least a moisturizer with UVA protection in it as well. Also, sunscreen/sunblock are the same thing! :)
Yeah, lazers. :D :D Ahahaha, no but really. Stay out of the sun for a while and begin to use skin boosting vitamins that you can apply topically. Like Vitamin E, Vitamin C, B5, etc. Olay Regenerist has a really great serum that you can use that has all of these in it. Or you can check out Bubzbeauty here on youtube -- she has this really cool Acne/Scar Fading mask that you can make at home for cheeeap! Check out my favorites on my page to find it.
haha i feel bad, I never worn sunscreen my whole life, im 21 and people think I look 14 so that's probably going to end soon XD
i guess its cause it grosses me out to be covered in something from head to toe, but the lotions I wear just to moisturize my skin make me feel greasy or something D: idk idk
Ideally, you WOULD cover your entire body in sunscreen. However, since we're all lazy and don't have the time to do that every single day, make sure that you're at LEAST covering your face, your neck, and your chest. These are the thinnest areas! XD
haha I like all the swears in the description, your a fun lady.
I wear sunscreen all the time anyway so I'm good, but I've heard about face cleaners with spf how teh hell does that work, wouldn't they just wash off like the rest of the cleaner??
oh and spf laundry soap apparently protects your body too but how can that be if your already wearing clothes how can the sun get ya?
Face cleansers with SPF? O_o That's bullshit. The SPF laundry soap I can kinda' see. Think of it like this. You have blinds on your window? But the sun's light still glows through them, illuminating your room, right? Same with your clothes. It filters out a BIT, but the sun still comes through and illuminates whatever's underneath. :/
she started going to tanning beds and in like a few months she went from nicole kidman color to beyonce! seriously! she already is starting to get wrinkles so i was wondering how long would it be before she looks like 50 years old hahah to her. i want to know so i can say haha look how youthfull I am and how beef jerky-ish you are, bitch!
Thank you so much for this information! It would be really amazing if you could give us some more information on ingredients and what to look out for, I found that really interesting how those products aren't regulated!
there are people who live in hot countries, where the sun always shines.. that are poor.. can not afford sunscreen.. yet they age much slower than the richer people, yet they live longer that richer people. guess its just not true.
No, no, nooo. Sunscreen is for SKIN aging. These people also live closer to the equator, where their fruits and vegetables are more RICH WITH NUTRIENTS. These fruits and vegetables are one of the HUGEST causes for why they are so healthy. :D Heads up!
Definitely! Aveeno's Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF15 UVA/UVB Sunscreen -- that's a good one. It's "NONCOMEDOGENIC" -- which means it does NOT block pores. ALWAYS look for that term on bottles if you're looking for sunscreen that doesn't clog up your junk. And also, "HYPOALLERGENIC" for sensitive skin.
I hope that annoying bitch I used to go to school with watches this. She was 24 at the time but looked in her 30s because she used a tanning bed THEN went to the beach. I would warn her that it's not good for her skin but she turned up her nose at me.
My complexion is a tan color (I'm mixed so it's au natural, I dont go out in the sun) but I see pale as snow girls go out to the beach ONE day & come back darker than me....not good. MY skin hurts looking at them.
Ahahahahaha!! I know how that is. I didn't know all this stuff until VERY recently. I'm normally super pale, and this summer I went CRAZY with the tanning. And once I found out exactly how bad all that was for me?! I had to make this video and share. -_- It's insane.
I use Aveeno! I love it. I just switched over but I love it.
I didnt get into skin care until I was in my late teens but I dont like "regret" my youth. We didnt know about the sun like now. I mean I used sunscreen & all but walking around & stuff, I didnt think much of it. I never laid out to tan but I got color from exposure in the summer. I couldnt help it.
Ahahahaha, so glad you enjoyed!! Makes it easier to remember too. All of the sciencey mumbo-jumbo needs to be delivered in the right way if anyone wants to friggin' understand it, damnit!!
I have an Uncle that has down syndrome. He should be able to understand that his skin will become, so called, "retarded" because that's what he is? You should consider these things when making another video.
Yeah I kinda figured you used makeup to cover up blemishes, but your pictures the texture of your skin always looks smooth. Makeup doesn't cover up acne texture bumps so was just wondering since your skin always looks flawless than other people you take pictures with.
Ideally you should be covering your whole body, but girl, not even I'm that dilligent. You want to at LEAST cover your neck, your face, and your chest. These are the spots that show aging the fastest because these parts of your body have the most THIN skin. And if your ASS is in the sun all the time too, you should be covering THAT.
Ideally, you WOULD cover your entire body in sunscreen. However, since we're all lazy and don't have the time to do that every single day, make sure that you're at LEAST covering your face, your neck, and your chest. These are the thinnest areas!
i'm 12, do i have to use sunscreen when i go out, or do i have to worry about wrinkles? because i don't want to get wrinkles, but i'm still pretty young, i mean i have acne, so i think i'm youngg. i love you cherri!
At 12 years old, your skin cells are still doing pretty great at dividing, protecting itself, etc. But it's STILL being attacked by UV rays at the same time and SLOWLY killing your cells. If you want to stay youthful looking LONGER and SLOW DOWN THE AGING PROCESS DRAMATICALLY, you should be using sunscreen! But if you want to get old-looking super fast and look back on these days as the best you've ever looked, then go ahead and go without it. Lol.
I NEVER go into the sun, i mean EVER. my mom looks like a teenager still! People think she's 17 and my sister hahaa. Another thing, my type of skin is combo. i use cetaphil moisturizer but it has NO spf, what should I do? What other moisturizers would work for me? I LOVE cetaphil though too. I get dry patches easily when I dont use it. Thanks for doing this! It helped out a lot! xox
You can do one of two things! 1.) Apply cetaphil moisturizer so it sinks into your skin, and THEN apply sunscreen over that (which is fine, and what people do normally anyways). Or 2.) Get a new moisturizer + sunscreen combination! Olay Regenerist UV Defense Regenerating Lotion SPF15 is a good choice. Amaaazing stuff. And if you don't like that, just stick to Cetaphil and just grab a sunscreen to put over it real quick!
just stay out of the sun when it's rays are the most harmful, like around noon. Early morning sun and late afternoon sun (5:00 and after) is great for the body to make vitamin D.
Yes!! Forgot to mention that! Thank you for adding to this video with that information -- I'm going to put that in the sidebar so more people know. :D
thanks so much for this video! skin cancer runs through my family. looking at my family's skin and how bad it has aged through the sun i want to stay more protected. my grandmother used to lather herself in babyoil and lie in the backyard lol :)
Oh my god, ahahhahahah. Baby Oil = Makes your skin more transparent and absorbant to UV rays. Which means it's UVA's best friend! WHICH MEANS that it's penetrating INSANELY deep into your skin! Her melanin must be insane!! Hahaha Poor skin!!
at the beginning of the video i just thought all your hair was behind and those were the front layers.. then i realized you cut it :O:O you had such beautiful long hair before?! why did you cut it.. i looks cute and you can pull it off but your hair was soo long and perfect!
I toooootally had a Britney moment and chopped off all of my hair because I was going through boy problems. AAAAHHHHHH!! But I'm growing it out again, ahahaha. I actually made this huge video all about cutting it. I'll post it as a response to this video so it's easier to find. :D It's on my CheriTV channel here on youtube.
I know!! And that hole is getting bigger because humans are retards that don't know how to take care of the earth (most of them, anyway). That's why you're starting to see movies about the world coming to an end all of a sudden. Like Wall-E, or 2012, etc etc. Video games of humans causing the destruction of our own planet. Sad stuff! USE UVA FIGHTING INGREDIENTS TO PROTECT AGAINST UVC!!
Yep yep!! The letters (A, B, C) represent different light WAVELENGTHS. UVA has the LONGEST wavelength, and therefore penetrates deeper. So if you are shielding yourself against the longest wavelength, then the SHORTEST waves can't even get past that barrier of sunscreen because you're overkilling with the UVA protection. That's why weak-ass UVC is filtered out by the ozone, and why UVB can only affect the very outermost layer of your skin! UVA IS THE CULPRIT!
I have another question though: Is it true that the rays can only penetrate the outermost layer of sunscreen on your face? E.g. If I wear SPF 50 and then put on an SPF 10 foundation on top of it, will the sun's rays stop at the foundation layer? Haha because this is what a skincare sales lady told me and I thought it sounded like a load of bull crap! I swear she was just trying to sell her shit to me as best as she could...
First of all, that b*tch is an idiot and probably didn't even know what she was talking about, because if she DID?? She would have been a bit more passionate about the sunscreen portion and not about the makeup portion. You can't ADD UP SPF numbers like that to equal a STRONGER sunscreen. The SPF in your MAKEUP only protects against B-Rays! So things like sunburn, rashes, blahblahblah.
google avobenzone disaster, or avobenzone side effects. a hat is a good idea.
Soleo organics is a great sunscreen. stay away from bannana boat brand.

yes, that's fine. But it might not be ok if your skin is very sensitive. Try it for a day and see how it goes.

omg u cut your hair!!! i remember i was so sad when i cut my hair short after having long hair for so long. but sometimes, we just have to cut off that much to make it healthy and get rid of split ends.
i use powder and/or foundation with spf and i use moisturizer with spf. it's so important.

I'm also into anti-aging. I have Shiseido spf 55, but want to get a lower one to wear every day because according to magazines and the news, they all say that anything higher than that is not going to be more effective.

SPF only has to do with UVB....
remember to look for broad spectrum! Many times the built in sunscreen in moisturizers won't cut it if you'll be outside for awhile.
Raspberry seed oil has spf properties, and there are minerals which act as a physical sunblock. We need to be careful of those nanoparticles tho... there's worry about those things =]

i have spf 60 sunscreen, i don't choose to have it that way, it's just the type i use doesn't make my skin oily. and my skin is really oily.
my friends always say "why do you wear sunscreen? don't you want a tan? and i just tell them i don't want to be all wrinkly and die of skin cancer.
MsYogawolf 2 years ago
Having a SPF of 60 is misleading for consumers because it does not necessary mean the higher the SPF the higher the protection. It can actually protect less if you use one that is too 'high'. In Australia here they do not allow more than SPF of 30.

yeah sunscreen is a must, you start losing the collagen in your skin at age 15!
So don't think your to young at age 15, but maybe don't go to overboard with anti-age creams. Just sunscreen

is it enough sun protection to use the missha bb cream with spf 42 PA +++ ? Or do I have to wear sunscreen underneath it? Btw, what is the difference between sunscreen and sunblock? thanks!
juujuuandtangguo 2 years ago
Does the cream SPECIFICALLY say that it protects against UVA as well?? If not, then you do need sunscreen. Or at least a moisturizer with UVA protection in it as well. Also, sunscreen/sunblock are the same thing! :)

NEVER. Start NOW and preserve what you have left! And then start using products that boost your skin's health (Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Green Tea).

how do you get rid of the little brown spots from the sun ? thanks for the video, it really helped!
juujuuandtangguo 2 years ago
Staying out of the sun can help fade them!
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
is there any products i can use to help fade them faster though ? :S
juujuuandtangguo 2 years ago
Yeah, lazers. :D :D Ahahaha, no but really. Stay out of the sun for a while and begin to use skin boosting vitamins that you can apply topically. Like Vitamin E, Vitamin C, B5, etc. Olay Regenerist has a really great serum that you can use that has all of these in it. Or you can check out Bubzbeauty here on youtube -- she has this really cool Acne/Scar Fading mask that you can make at home for cheeeap! Check out my favorites on my page to find it.

haha i feel bad, I never worn sunscreen my whole life, im 21 and people think I look 14 so that's probably going to end soon XD
i guess its cause it grosses me out to be covered in something from head to toe, but the lotions I wear just to moisturize my skin make me feel greasy or something D: idk idk
l00SMA 2 years ago
Ideally, you WOULD cover your entire body in sunscreen. However, since we're all lazy and don't have the time to do that every single day, make sure that you're at LEAST covering your face, your neck, and your chest. These are the thinnest areas! XD
I just reposted this from another comment. >_>
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
haha I like all the swears in the description, your a fun lady.
I wear sunscreen all the time anyway so I'm good, but I've heard about face cleaners with spf how teh hell does that work, wouldn't they just wash off like the rest of the cleaner??
oh and spf laundry soap apparently protects your body too but how can that be if your already wearing clothes how can the sun get ya?
xxDolllFacexx 2 years ago
Face cleansers with SPF? O_o That's bullshit. The SPF laundry soap I can kinda' see. Think of it like this. You have blinds on your window? But the sun's light still glows through them, illuminating your room, right? Same with your clothes. It filters out a BIT, but the sun still comes through and illuminates whatever's underneath. :/

there are people who live in hot countries, where the sun always shines.. that are poor.. can not afford sunscreen.. yet they age much slower than the richer people, yet they live longer that richer people. guess its just not true.
lovemesomeorli 2 years ago

MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
WELCOME BACK!! ::HUG::
ShinbiBelldandy 2 years ago
Ahahahahaha!! I know how that is. I didn't know all this stuff until VERY recently. I'm normally super pale, and this summer I went CRAZY with the tanning. And once I found out exactly how bad all that was for me?! I had to make this video and share. -_- It's insane.
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
I use Aveeno! I love it. I just switched over but I love it.
I didnt get into skin care until I was in my late teens but I dont like "regret" my youth. We didnt know about the sun like now. I mean I used sunscreen & all but walking around & stuff, I didnt think much of it. I never laid out to tan but I got color from exposure in the summer. I couldnt help it.

so you are saying that i should slather my WHOLE body with sunscreen? i just do my face neck adn hands...
vinhdieulisa 2 years ago
Ideally you should be covering your whole body, but girl, not even I'm that dilligent. You want to at LEAST cover your neck, your face, and your chest. These are the spots that show aging the fastest because these parts of your body have the most THIN skin. And if your ASS is in the sun all the time too, you should be covering THAT.
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
You only need to cover the parts in the Sun though, right?
cordeliaistheone 2 years ago

But do the UV rays go through your clothes?
Do you only need to cover the skin actually exposed to the Sun?

i'm 12, do i have to use sunscreen when i go out, or do i have to worry about wrinkles? because i don't want to get wrinkles, but i'm still pretty young, i mean i have acne, so i think i'm youngg. i love you cherri!
x3loveyuki 2 years ago
At 12 years old, your skin cells are still doing pretty great at dividing, protecting itself, etc. But it's STILL being attacked by UV rays at the same time and SLOWLY killing your cells. If you want to stay youthful looking LONGER and SLOW DOWN THE AGING PROCESS DRAMATICALLY, you should be using sunscreen! But if you want to get old-looking super fast and look back on these days as the best you've ever looked, then go ahead and go without it. Lol.
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
But also, if you have acne, remember to take care of your skin! Don't just use sunscreen. Always cleanse it!
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
I NEVER go into the sun, i mean EVER. my mom looks like a teenager still! People think she's 17 and my sister hahaa. Another thing, my type of skin is combo. i use cetaphil moisturizer but it has NO spf, what should I do? What other moisturizers would work for me? I LOVE cetaphil though too. I get dry patches easily when I dont use it. Thanks for doing this! It helped out a lot! xox
MissCupcakeuhm 2 years ago
You can do one of two things! 1.) Apply cetaphil moisturizer so it sinks into your skin, and THEN apply sunscreen over that (which is fine, and what people do normally anyways). Or 2.) Get a new moisturizer + sunscreen combination! Olay Regenerist UV Defense Regenerating Lotion SPF15 is a good choice. Amaaazing stuff. And if you don't like that, just stick to Cetaphil and just grab a sunscreen to put over it real quick!

Alright thank you SOOO much for helping me! xox

just stay out of the sun when it's rays are the most harmful, like around noon. Early morning sun and late afternoon sun (5:00 and after) is great for the body to make vitamin D.
2thfairy789 2 years ago

thanks so much for this video! skin cancer runs through my family. looking at my family's skin and how bad it has aged through the sun i want to stay more protected. my grandmother used to lather herself in babyoil and lie in the backyard lol :)
MereMere32 2 years ago
Oh my god, ahahhahahah. Baby Oil = Makes your skin more transparent and absorbant to UV rays. Which means it's UVA's best friend! WHICH MEANS that it's penetrating INSANELY deep into your skin! Her melanin must be insane!! Hahaha Poor skin!!
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
at the beginning of the video i just thought all your hair was behind and those were the front layers.. then i realized you cut it :O:O you had such beautiful long hair before?! why did you cut it.. i looks cute and you can pull it off but your hair was soo long and perfect!

there is now a hole in the ozone layer!
shampoop118 2 years ago
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
Hahahah yes, humans are indeed retards! Love how straightforward you are.
Are you sure UVA protection will also protect against UVC? Maybe UVC rays penetrate the skin in a different way?
I trust your answers though, since you seem like you've done a lot of research!
shampoop118 2 years ago
MakeupByCheri 2 years ago
Thanks so much for the thorough info!
I swear she was just trying to sell her shit to me as best as she could...
shampoop118 2 years ago
First of all, that b*tch is an idiot and probably didn't even know what she was talking about, because if she DID?? She would have been a bit more passionate about the sunscreen portion and not about the makeup portion. You can't ADD UP SPF numbers like that to equal a STRONGER sunscreen. The SPF in your MAKEUP only protects against B-Rays! So things like sunburn, rashes, blahblahblah.
