Yeah, they can be. It's even worse for me because I insist that I must play every single level on Hard difficulty if I'm making a serious attempt at passing them, and some levels are just impossible to complete beyond Normal difficulty.

There are certain lockers in the SpisMall that contain special game modifiers. One of them is Splatter Mode, which causes all particles to be multipled and/or magnified.
