Also, if you look at his stats (as a ROOKIE that really wasn't ready to play yet), he wasn't even all that bad....he was 60 of 107 (56 completion %), for 559 yards, 1 TD and 3 ints....not that bad for a developmental rookie....Now if he tanks with the Redskins after having a WHOLE year to learn the offense behind McNabb and Grossman, then the "Beck sucks" comments from the trolls will be justified, but until then I don't think "Beck sucks" is a statement with facts to back it up.

The jury's still out on this draft. Setele is awesome. He'll anchor the line for many years. Booker is crazy quick and elusive. It's puzzling why he didn't play more earlier in the season.
The Ginn pick is still puzzling, but if Beck develops well, '07 and '08 could be huge foundation drafts for the Dolphins. In '08 they have the #1 overall pick and two second rounders. Including Mauia, they could have 9 starters in 2 drafts.

I have to go on a rant here. How is Coach Cameron/Gm Randy M gone will make it better? You can not unfix 6+years of damage in one season. That is what Dave Wanestedt did to the Dolphins -- giving 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th round picks to players that are just back ups or has beens. It was Nick Saban who gave up a 2nd rd pick for Culpepper. And last thing John Beck and the offense needs is another offensive cordinator (for the "19th" time).
Cam was a success as the Chargers O co-ordinator with high 1st round or late 2nd picks, LT, Brees, Rivers and great advice from Marty S as his head coach. . If he is back next year and we're sitting at 2-6 or 3-5 mid season then where do we go ? I could be wrong sure, but from what I've seen from these two I've got every right to want them gone.

Every great team in NFL History had to go thru bad seasons -- example -- when Bill Walsh took over the SF 49ers, he went 2-14 the first season, 7-9 the second season, Dallas went 1-15 the first season with Jimmy Johnson. the Patriots went many losing seasons before even making the playoffs. Nothing happens overnight. For so long Miami has been mediocre, 9-7, 10-6, 9-7, etc. Football, like life, to be great, you got tough out the hard and long season.
Samson Satele? Not to bring down your Dolphins, but that whole organization is a mess. Everyone knows the Ted Ginn pick was an enormous mistake. Even at Ohio State, Ginn wasn't really what you call a reliable every down receiver. He was more of a one-hit, punt/kick returner/slot type of receiver. I'm not saying Ginn won't be a solid NFL player, but when you talk about drafting by need, Brady Quinn should have been the obvious pick. Considering you guys had Trent Green and Cleo Lemon.
Everyone uses that Dallas example, JJ was a national champion winner, Walsh was a proven college coach with a much weaker roster than Miami 2007. If you follow your agruement then every NFL coach is given a free past for 2=3 years without critics, I don't think so ! Look at what you have seen again. Too early to decide on Beck Ginn or Samson. I like Beck obviously and he has done ok despite conservative calls.

Cam was a success as the Chargers O co-ordinator with high 1st round or late 2nd picks, LT, Brees, Rivers and great advice from Marty S as his head coach. . If he is back next year and we're sitting at 2-6 or 3-5 mid season then where do we go ? I could be wrong sure, but from what I've seen from these two I've got every right to want them gone.
Oh yeah Cam gave up a 5th round pick for scrambled eggs which would have been a 4th had the egg not cracked

Every great team in NFL History had to go thru bad seasons -- example -- when Bill Walsh took over the SF 49ers, he went 2-14 the first season, 7-9 the second season, Dallas went 1-15 the first season with Jimmy Johnson. the Patriots went many losing seasons before even making the playoffs. Nothing happens overnight. For so long Miami has been mediocre, 9-7, 10-6, 9-7, etc. Football, like life, to be great, you got tough out the hard and long season.

Oh by the way drafting Samson Satele, Ted Ginn and John Beck is a pretty solid foundation to have for many years to come.

Samson Satele? Not to bring down your Dolphins, but that whole organization is a mess. Everyone knows the Ted Ginn pick was an enormous mistake. Even at Ohio State, Ginn wasn't really what you call a reliable every down receiver. He was more of a one-hit, punt/kick returner/slot type of receiver. I'm not saying Ginn won't be a solid NFL player, but when you talk about drafting by need, Brady Quinn should have been the obvious pick. Considering you guys had Trent Green and Cleo Lemon.

Everyone uses that Dallas example, JJ was a national champion winner, Walsh was a proven college coach with a much weaker roster than Miami 2007. If you follow your agruement then every NFL coach is given a free past for 2=3 years without critics, I don't think so ! Look at what you have seen again. Too early to decide on Beck Ginn or Samson. I like Beck obviously and he has done ok despite conservative calls.

I hope your watching the Jets Dolphins game right now, it should highlight some of my points again, even passing Beck on his 6 turnovers, Cam is passing 1 yard on 3rd and 10 to Ginn, with the Jets in prevent and looking for an easy win, its fans turning a blind eye through faith and clinging to arguements about 1st year turn arounds that kills us. New Orleans 1st year coach did well and so did Barry Switzer, these mean nothing, look what we have in Malcom Cameron, a deer lost in head lights.
