I used to BEG my parents to make the drive up to Portland from Eugene so I could be on the show. Now I live here, and alas, the show is no more.

Yeah sorry, I remember every school morning growing up I would walk out to my living room and he was on the screen so cheery and I hated mornings so at the time I hated him. But him and tom peterson make me long for the glory days of northwest television. KPTV tweeeelve portland 4 life.

were ya ever on the show? my childhood neighbor who is my sisters age texted me just b4 Christmas to see if I could take somethings up with me since I was taking the train up to Tacoma. I haven't talked to her since Christmas of 08. I called her to see if she still had the ramblin Rod tape. She did and she let me barrow it so I could copy it to dvd. I emailed channel 12 on new yrs day I just wanted to make sure. But they said ya I could upload it. that was pretty cool of them to let me do that.
