8800GT is basically THE CARD for this game.

A mac book pro can run this game on medium settings.

All computers lag during siege wars/ larger scale PvP events without completely turning off particles.

Certain cards and over clocked configurations will completely destroy your chances of running the game at this time. There is no god rig.

There is no cow level.

People exaggerate the required specs so much, I am running an athlon 3700+ single core 2gb ram and a 6800gs video card, and the game is very playable. Doesnt look to good honestly, but thats expected with my specs. My friend runs a 8800gt and a dual core with 2gb ram and runs with great fps on high.

It does have high requirements for a MMO, but its not any more graphic intense then any 360 port such as GoW or assassins creed.

shouldnt have any problems. Just make sure you use the driver it recommends the first time you log on. the "newest" driver isnt too good for aoc. The one they recommend is.

Alot of ppl complain about choppiness and that is the reason.

Please say what ddr your memory is. Yes you will be able to run medium settings perfectly. Just remember to lower the world distance, some morons dont realize that running it on maximum (2000m) will suck more power from the computer than they believe

Its sort of old, but its custom built and only has XP, NOT Vista.

I could run oblivion with the highest settings fine and run Itunes and Internet explorer at the same time.

Lol your not an idiot firstly and secondly you have a perfect match so to speak, the "oblivion test" basically means that if you can oblivion fine then you can run AoC fine, so yes ur machine can do it! :D:D:D

WOW was the best PVE MMO i ever played and SHADOWBANE was the best PVP MMO !!

But now AGE OF CONAN is the best MMO in both PVE and PVP !!!

If you can judge a game from a 1 minute clip of a test of early footage of the games development for an unfinished game, and say its going to be fail, when taking a 60 second glimpse at one aspect of the game, siege, which doesnt even cover the gameplay of the classes themselves. If you can make that judgement and keep a straight face, you shouldn't taint the game with your presence, get your nintendo out and start fat-fingering your controller to a marathon of mario brothers.

there is just the people outside the wall with the seige weps trying to smash each stage of the wall down and eventually their keep or the defenders which goal is to kill the attackers and their weapons, nothing can be done with out the 2 forces meeting each other in large clashes u cant wave bye to the opposite team and rush to their captain like in AV on wow. this is kill or be killed, burn the keep or be impaled by the defenders, defend the walls or have them wall on u as everything burns.

okie i belive they did say 150 per side or somethong along that line, the reason this is limited is because 1 the amount of seige weps like trebuchet's ect. 2 the amount of lag caused by a battle of players with ALOT going on you need to relise this is not a BG like in wow this keep is founded by a guild and can be seen by all, there is AI keeps to attack player 1's as well as player vs player keep fighting too as guilds try to take the keep for their own. there is no zones and areas to capture.

There is a cap because the servers are not yet optimised for it. Later on, as more and more people turn 80, they'll increase the cap. I believe the final goal is 150 players per team.

are you high? EVE online came out in 2002 and you can have 500 ships in one place. Lineage II has 200vs200 sieges. Star Wars Galaxies THE LAGFEST OF THEM ALL and you could have 600 people on a base raid with semi-lag.
