I am not taking sides but I do agree with you. If one is seeking proof and proof only, there is nothing you can say to change their mind. That is a matter for God to handle. The only thing you can do is pray in a situation like that. There are many ways for God to prove he is real. Never believe anything different. But it is not up to you and I to make that case. In Leviticus 25:44-46, we learn that we can purchase slaves from the foreigners that live among us and even pass them down to our children after we die. Respond to this video... I know God's victims were innocent because many of them where too young to have committed crimes. I am not taking sides but I do agree with you. If one is seeking proof and proof only, there is nothing you can say to change their mind. That is a matter for God to handle. The only thing you can do is pray in a situation like that. There are many ways for God to prove he is real. Never believe anything different. But it is not up to you and I to make that case. I have dealt with Athiest and Agnostic and all sorts of different things. Once you have planted that seed, pray and leave it up to GOD

I am not siding with either party. I am just trying to stress my point that unlike everyday ppl, we are different. Christians have no need to cuss and argue, we can pray and depend on GOD. When trying to change somebodies opinion, sometimes you will have somebody saved and a reason to rejoice but other times you can only plant that seed and pray about it. In Leviticus 25:44-46, we learn that we can purchase slaves from the foreigners that live among us and even pass them down to our children after we die. When you look at this issue carefully and as a whole, their primary purpose appears to be symbolic. Just as laws governing husband and wife, and child and parent, symbolize important aspects of our relationship with Christ and our Father, so too does the relationship between slave and master.

In the real world, ALL revelations are natural. Again...if I'm wrong and you have an example of some "special' revelation, I'd love to hear it. But please don't use the bible. Let's stick to reality, not fairy tales...OK?

@000SMITH000 The special revelation is the existence of God in your everyday life - how things are in order like sunrise and sunset, seasons, how God reveals himself to those who seek him. There, I didn't use the Bible (although these examples are in there too.) just today's happenings.

@000SMITH000 You shouldn't look at the world and say this is truth, then conform the Scriptures to what you see. This is a deadly mistake. I interpret science through the lens of the Scripture, which presupposes the truth. There is no evidence of higher value or authority than the word of God. Is there? Do tell.

Real science seeks answers and explanations with NO presuppositions. Your pretend god has no authority or value when it comes to science. Every modern convenience we enjoy today ( including the computer you are using right now) comes from science. Nothing we use today came from any god. Reality is harsh, isn't it?

The Bible accounts for immaterial entities as in John 4 vs. 24 it states: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

"A fool has said in his heart, there is no God.." Until then, you will always be guessing why and how life hands you what it hands you, forever, confused and trying everything at chance and your own abilities, hoping for the best. All the while God keeps you living and you don't even thank him.

@jujumediazone No one needs faith to acquire wisdom. Faith is not only useless, but dangerous in the hands of the religious "The fool says in his heart, there is no god.." Yes, but the wise man says it out loud. I never "guess" at what life hands me. I don't blame satan when things go wrong or give god credit when they go right. I deal in reality. I take responsibility for my screw ups and work to correct them. I never waste time in useless prayer. This philosophy has worked well in my life.

That is just reason ( but not the only one) that I reject christianity. The main reason, of course, is that there is no god. And, no, I won't ask you to provide evidence. @jujumediazone Of course everyone uses universal, immaterial, unchanging laws, but many do so denying their only possible source. Christianity proclaims the source which can be summarized with Christ's declaration: "apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15 vs. 5)
