The first time I read the manga, it was right after I watched the anime. I was dying to know what happened. But when I started around volume 13 (after the eclipse), I was severely unprepared for how gritty and 'sick' the manga could be. No holds barred and nothing is sacred. So I had to go back and read from Vol. 1 to the present volume and I cant get enough. It truly is a masterpiece and nothing else I've read comes close to all the elements combined that make up Berserk. Def. worth reading.

That is a total plus one for Berserk in that regard. When it comes to games tho, fuck, the Japanese market is really shit nowadays compared to what the West is turning out.
