I think this puzzle is what you call a "Magic Square". "Magic" because the total of any three numbers arranged horizontally, vertically or diagonally is the same. The only rule is that you must not repeat a number in the square (1-9). Notice in the clue that the words "Magic" and "Square" is in red. It is a common puzzle here in the Philippines, popular among students, you know before Sudoku became popular. Hope it helps :)

We played it in Math.... It really annoys me to play it but it's easy if the only 2 complete rows add to the same number then the other rows must add to that exact same number.

It's fairly simple to understand so long as you have to patients to sit there and add the numbers... entertains me for about 5 minutes then I'm done XD

@HolyDemonSnap It's called the 'Magic Square'. It's a Japanese math puzzle or something. All the rows and columns are suppose to equal 15. >.> Don't know how I was suppose to know that XP

WOO A MENTION :0 and yea, its a Japanese style puzzel I remembered from my Japanese Language class freshmen year in college. It's called the Magic Box, which I guess they were hoping you'd pick up on in the hint.

The MAGIC of the full moon, sides of a square = box. MAGIC BOX, or Magic square.

Unfortunately its too vague for people who aren't mathematicians, or have taken a Japanese course or something.

I'm really enjoying the LP's so far :) I have a question, I'm planning on getting this game. Was it like hard or difficult to instal or put on the English Patch? I've been trying to find out what to do but...google gives me confusing information

@ThePapazeke It's very easy actually; more so if you have your Wii is connected to the internet and an SD card. You should go to fatalframe4(dot)net where the English Patch is and they have help files for you. If you're still confused, just send me a message and I'll do my best to help. ^_^
