In simple terms a passive observation, an awareness brings an end to the content of consciousness. This is what we mean by meditation. In meditation your mind becomes very alive because it has emptied itself of its dead content. Now this "content of consciousness" is nothing but what we usually term as 'me'. 'Me' is a bundle of memories, experiences and knowledge. It has its limitations, its frontiers.Only awareness can empty the mind of its dead content and not the analysis.
the putrid mustard colour background is extremely is unflattering to this beautiful message.... ah the 70's they just loved brown and orange here they seemed to have combined it!
please youtube fans who are interested in Krishnamurti's talks be more patient and attentive to what he says and don't give up. you may have to listen to a talk over and over again in order to see the light. perhaps u may not see it as it depends on the listener and his attachement to his backgroud(knowledge, traditions...). the more u r able to drop ur background while listening the clearly u r observing!
@vkvsll Very well put. That is exactly what I thought when I came back to this, one year or so after being awakened to the reality of my mind. At first, these talks seemed really frustrating and crazy, I viewed K as being "way out there", but in reality he was "way in here" and it took me until now to start fully realizing who I am, the I am that I am when I'm not caught in continual thought. Namaste, thank you K and thank you seastarwatcher for posting these videos.

You cannot taste your own tongue, or bite ur own teeth, or perceive ur own eyes directly. That's why it is futile to analyse oneself.

Well there is no one there to analyse. Its pure emptiness.
