Heh, what you got there is the green line, the low 1200 RPM speed. I wanted to get the blue ones, 1800 RPM originally. I was planning to replace my back-blowing fan for one of those beasts, plus it would almost touch the CM V8 cooler and help to suck the heat out...but I just watched some vids here and I don't think I will stand the noise. I tried the 150 CFM Delta and that thing was ridiculous. Had to send it back. Don't want to repeat again...Dang. And these rated at 30 dBmax
@zver711 i used the 1800s and there were to much for me :( low speed push plenty of air so they are the ones to go with unless you use a fan controler
I'm planning one some fan controller, but I think buying powerful and loud fans and controlling them with a device is sort of a waste, no? I mean you cut down their RPM to the suitable level and you get a performance of a lower model...isn't that so, dude. I mean, mate...
@zver711 Point is you get the best of both, you get quiet usage for normal situations then you have the power to crank them up for bench marking ect all depends on your usage :)
Ok then..I'm thinking of getting Lapmptron FC-5. You think the TK-122 (high RPM) can be controlled with that, or what. As far I can understand some fans give out god awful noise on undervolting...you ever tried controlling those to quiet nap R3APERvsTYETREE time :) ?
im about to order 6 of these but im unsure if I need to get the 1200 or 1800 rpm models. I want silent as can be. Is 30db compared to 21db much louder? also will cooling be much better or negligable on feser xchanger 120.3 120.3 for i7 and 120.3 for the x58 motherboard and 5970 gpu. Which fans tho?
these are manufactured by noiseblocker..it pretty good works well with their radiator, the static pressure is enormous and no dead spot too due to its thickness. basically its a 25 fan with build in shroud. its price justifies it. to get a good static and zero dead spot, any other fans needs a shroud too, so basically the price for the triebwerks are like any other good fans + shorud.
i like 30db and 90cfm, then i turn em down at night

its not a 25 mm fan, the shovel height is more than a 38 mm fan plus shroud. you couldn't even compare a triebwerk with a 38mm fan.
Tabometer 1 year ago
i know you are advertising for them but tests by martin have proved these are about the same as your average 25mm
onoff314 1 year ago
