  • It's simple.

    The air pulling force of the propeller is greater than friction in ball-bearings of the axis. Air pulling force overbalances the friction.

    And finally, cart's get forward.

  • Why are people surprised at what happens? Consider this... The propellor on a aircraft pulls it forward right? So why would changing the type of transmission from gears to a funny sort of "belt drive" make a difference? Isn't It obvious the prop on the cart is going to try and pull it or even the whole running machine forward ?

  • you need to run a second prop gearwise so that it goes straight

  • confuse yes but the thought of equilizing a moving force to neutral then advancing on this newly found neutral ground, its like a solar powered car faster than gas, we just dont want to believe it

  • we would need to prove that this setup is not equivalent to the floor standing still but the wind blowing. Must be something like the mythbusters proof of the airplane taking off, despite it being on a threadmill.

  • It's a bit of a mind bender but no laws of physics are broken and no it's not some goofy claim of free energy. It has no practical use other than to confuse and amuse :-)
