  • Man from Atlantis was cool lol. So was a show called "Cliff hangers" if anyone remembers that one lol .

  • Jesus, they're all so, well...70's aren't they..?

  • "We never had a secret from each other, until now." And that secret is, "I love you Bill."

  • I actually have the entire run of FANTASTIC JOURNEY on DVDs, as well as some episodes of GEMINI MAN.(I also have all 5 episodes of BEYOND WESTWORLD.)

  • Great collection of Sci-Fi TV shows that never really took off. Pity though, i kind of liked Time Express, even though it only lasted for 4 weeks in 1979. Also, why wasn't Kolchak: The Night Stalker included in this compilation?

I also happened to like the theme for Quinn Martin's Tales Of The Unexpected.

  • My confusion, sorry.

ABC invited me to a private screening of the two-hour pilot.

I hated it -- the writers didn't even know what a solar system

was. They had the vipers banking off non-existent air in

outer space. Really terrible stuff. And the six-eyed green

    girl... give me a break!

The network people thought I was missing the point.

I replied, "it's called SCIENCE fiction for a reason."

    They didn't get it.

  • The original Battlestar Galactica lasted three years, if I remember. (But stank even longer.)

  • @scottadler

The original series aired for only a season, 1978-79. It was followed by its offshoot, Galactica 1980, the following year, which only lasted through the mid-season period. I could've added the intro to that series, but had no room to include one more within the 15-minute max for the video and also deemed Galactica as being too similar to the original, including the theme intro, so it's considered as a single series.

  • I thought Buck Rogers lasted longer...

  • Ok,I take umbrage with calling Buck Rogers In The 25th Century a failure, the first season was superb,it was the second season when they were (for no given reason) placed on the Searcher that the series unquestionably "jumped the shark".

  • ~And John Amos playing 'Hip Negro Stereotype Background Character'.

~And James Reynolds playing 'Hip Negro Stereotype Background Character'.

~And Carl Franklin playing 'Hip Negro Stereotype Background Character'.

If anyone ever asks why these tragedies failed you will have an answer for them.
