i have grown up with delta force bhd, i first played it when i was 4, killing 11 people, dieing 4 times, and i thought, wow, i love this game,every few months, i install it and make a map, play sp and mp you cannot go past this game, it's the best game ever.
Concerning Novalogic and their Delta Force Series, I habve been mapping for 11 years... since DF2. regarding Multiplayer it would appear that DFX has died due to the lack of support from Novalogic staff i see these advertistments onlione for DF:AF but i see it nowhere in the forums all you see is DF:AF information and Speculation no game or mapping support... which is why i have learned how to program new Campaigns int DFX
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down multiplayer was really, really awesome. Aswell as Joint Operations: Typhoon rising. Even though the AI in those games were absolutely retarded, I didn't even bother that much, because in the end of the days It's the multiplayer that you end up to play. And that was god-damn awesome.

@callofdutyguy9 money, they been sued long ago and lost money. They will rise again. Nova was and still is best game play, you can make your maps, how unique? The game was user friendly so simple to play. Most games today are not simple and lack freedom, game play. I still play BHD AND DFX2
this is actually such a high quality video game i find it difficult to believe it. its a whole lot greater than mw1. ive only reached the 2nd prestige ! i am as a result thrilled. acquired the video game pretty much a couple weeks ago off mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) however i'm definitely wooping most people!

For those of you who dont know yet, Novalogic has cut their ties with MTR soft (former publisher of before games). They are know with EA. However it is going to be decided by EA whether to launch the Angel Falls or not. Thats the cause of the delay. So maybe it will come out or not. In my opinion, I believe that EA should continue the development of Angel Falls

there is something I am pissed of about at novalogic. I own pretty much everysingle game apart from the ones required to sign up to the forum website. They just don't allow me to sign in with product keys from games like the original Delta Force 1,2,3 and F16/Mig 29.
I actuallyed owned Task Force Dagger and Black Hawk Down but I sold them a few years ago. God damn this sucks.

The Delta Force series has not been known for its eye candy, but rather its gameplay and capability for massive maps.
DFAF has been in the works for several years... and currently the developers are on security lockdown so there is no telling when or what will come out.

The problem with today is, you can't be useing the same game engine that you used back in 2002. It dosn't matter how cool the gameplay is, if theres no decent eye candy... It's useless.
I really really do hope they make the graphics like MW2 at least. Then it will be way worth it.

I hope its better than DFX2. While I enjoyed the game it just looked and felt like the sort of thing Novalogic were churning out 5 or 6 years ago. It just did not and does not look like a current gen game. That being said they're all fun games, My 5yr old loved DFX2 as its not too hard
I haven't played a novalogic game since BHD and I had tons of fun with that. I'm sure there are still a few thousand players online playing those games regularly and for good reason. Novalogic had a good thing going, they've just been down and out for a while.
I think BHD had some of the best sniping I have, still to this day, ever seen. You can go a mile and farther out from your enemy and drop shots on them (sometimes only aiming above a silhouette). I always loved that.
always will be a delta force fan im not into games like cs or cod where spawn points are so close together these games you can actually breath and take your time and you actually have to walk for awile to get to the oppents base =)

In my opinion...The Joint ops game had great multiplayer...graphics wasnt the most important thing.. GAMEPLAY and GAMESIZE..won out. U can still find a good game any time of day on NOvalogic.
well delta force games of the past (rather than land warrior and df 2, have really sucked on the pc. especially these delta force extreme games and joint ops. Those games were horrible in my opinion, especially compared to games like the battlefield series. The graphics are horrible, vehicle physics horrible, not to mention the fact that about 100 people play this game on a daily bases so your always playing a 23 player game even though the server maxes out at 150.
"AF" comes out in 1st quarter 2010. Nova still working out the bugs. Comes with a new type of engine with a high demand for speed better then Cryis, will not be a console game. Cryis engine was co-developed with EA games. Be ready!
Screw the graphics make another black hawk down style game with that many players for console and would make that shitty 250 player game for ps3 look rubbish it should be nova makeing this game first ... not MAG ... missed out there :Z

Not true honestly graphics are often pointless as hardcore pro players who keep the games competitive often play on lowest settings to reduce any chance of lag, and gameplay is much more important then how the game truly looks. If it looks amazing but is shit no one will play it because it lacks any fun black hawk down and joint ops are still fun even after all these years just as fun as playing cod4
original delta force was great stuff- i wasnt too much of a fan for black hawk down, especially on the xbox. the ability to have like 64 players or whatever the number was, was a fucking amazing thing :)
Most multiplayer games nowadays with their crazy expensive servers cant even pull off 64 players. Now that says something.. And it also says something that games like xtreme 2 blows modern warfare 2's server cap out of the water at 150.
Cod4 had a cap of 64 players, I would like to play X2, 'cept that the shit lag is through the roof with just 10 players, I don't want to see 150 people glitching all over the map.

Yeah, by the looks of the beta, they are useing the same old engine as Black Hawk Down, but with updated graphics etc.
Did you know Call of Duty 4 uses the same engine as Call of Duty 2? :D I didn't know that. No wonder why it could play so smoothly on a Pentium 2.8 with the 8600GT doing 50FPS+. Almost PS3 graphics.
DFX2 is the same engine as DFX, Angel Falls uses a whole new engine according to Novalogic. I do notice lots of the same object models which give it that classic delta force feel though, I like that.
All i can say is i hope the multiplay can equal jotr! jotrs multiplayer still has a few devoted clans and players with more joining the ranks day by day myself being a veteran.
I've played Novalogic games for years. One thing is for sure, and that is never trust their release dates. If they say summer 2009, that means it's coming out summer 2010 or later. Their Delta Force: Xtreme 2 game was scheduled for February this year, and only the demo came out yesterday. They are always late or delaying their releases.
Dude i agree i grew up playing delta force 2 multiplayer, that was 13 years ago its was the best and the most exciting game i ever played. Multiplayer was sooo exciting and crowded. Made a lot of friends online and there were a lot of places to explore in the game and things to do. I miss all the good stuff the good old days! Nova games really have a lot of value. Delta force games mostly. Who cares about graphics lol? Any DF2 player will know what i am talking about!

@RobertsDigital yes dude the best games were the old ones. i started playing delta force (1) then df2, df3 land warrior, and all the rest. they were amazing games, really strategic. i occasionally play delta force 2, but unfortunately i lost my delta force (1) cd and cant find it anywhere in shops. wonderful old days.

I doubt it's coming out this year. There not even done making the Delta Force: Xtreme 2, which was supposed to come out since February. I don't think this game is coming out for another year.
There is some tough competition coming out this summer : Delta Force, Arma II, and Operation Flashpoint 2. At least one of these games will get my money.
Considering the official Novalogic website is saying the drop date is Q1 2009 (which is RIGHT NOW) i'm becoming let down as i usually am with Nova. BHD and Typhoon Rising were the greatest games ever created. Goodnplenty!

yup,delta force series are great....on single player maybe....but JoinT Operations is the best choice for MMO(Massively multiplayer online)gamming.The best part is that you have to work as a team,not like in DF going all by yourself...

also, what we see here may aswell be track and field for the snes, entered as a 2010 FPS. Screenshots are pointless, really. Won't know much about the game from what we can see here.

I miss Delta Force 1 + 2 online play. :C Lets hope this game can bring back some of that and we'll all forgive NovaLogic for those atrocities they call Delta Force Xtreme 1 + 2.

In my opinion...The Joint ops game had great multiplayer...graphics wasnt the most important thing.. GAMEPLAY and GAMESIZE..won out. U can still find a good game any time of day on NOvalogic.

well delta force games of the past (rather than land warrior and df 2, have really sucked on the pc. especially these delta force extreme games and joint ops. Those games were horrible in my opinion, especially compared to games like the battlefield series. The graphics are horrible, vehicle physics horrible, not to mention the fact that about 100 people play this game on a daily bases so your always playing a 23 player game even though the server maxes out at 150.

"AF" comes out in 1st quarter 2010. Nova still working out the bugs. Comes with a new type of engine with a high demand for speed better then Cryis, will not be a console game. Cryis engine was co-developed with EA games. Be ready!

Actually novalogic is one of the best game makers of all time and i respect the company for that....their df2 game was one of the most exciting games i ever played in history with crowded multiplayer-- good old days-- they have delayed the release of angel falls probably they want to make something new ,who knows...

They have a hug fan base, i guess maybe they do need to start shifting away from focusing on gameplay only and enter the graphic market. But yeh u could be right they might cease operations if they dont have the proper funding and change their game policys

Not true honestly graphics are often pointless as hardcore pro players who keep the games competitive often play on lowest settings to reduce any chance of lag, and gameplay is much more important then how the game truly looks. If it looks amazing but is shit no one will play it because it lacks any fun black hawk down and joint ops are still fun even after all these years just as fun as playing cod4

original delta force was great stuff- i wasnt too much of a fan for black hawk down, especially on the xbox. the ability to have like 64 players or whatever the number was, was a fucking amazing thing :)

Most multiplayer games nowadays with their crazy expensive servers cant even pull off 64 players. Now that says something.. And it also says something that games like xtreme 2 blows modern warfare 2's server cap out of the water at 150.

Yeah, by the looks of the beta, they are useing the same old engine as Black Hawk Down, but with updated graphics etc.
Did you know Call of Duty 4 uses the same engine as Call of Duty 2? :D I didn't know that. No wonder why it could play so smoothly on a Pentium 2.8 with the 8600GT doing 50FPS+. Almost PS3 graphics.

DFX2 is the same engine as DFX, Angel Falls uses a whole new engine according to Novalogic. I do notice lots of the same object models which give it that classic delta force feel though, I like that.

I've played Novalogic games for years. One thing is for sure, and that is never trust their release dates. If they say summer 2009, that means it's coming out summer 2010 or later. Their Delta Force: Xtreme 2 game was scheduled for February this year, and only the demo came out yesterday. They are always late or delaying their releases.

Dude i agree i grew up playing delta force 2 multiplayer, that was 13 years ago its was the best and the most exciting game i ever played. Multiplayer was sooo exciting and crowded. Made a lot of friends online and there were a lot of places to explore in the game and things to do. I miss all the good stuff the good old days! Nova games really have a lot of value. Delta force games mostly. Who cares about graphics lol? Any DF2 player will know what i am talking about!

@RobertsDigital yes dude the best games were the old ones. i started playing delta force (1) then df2, df3 land warrior, and all the rest. they were amazing games, really strategic. i occasionally play delta force 2, but unfortunately i lost my delta force (1) cd and cant find it anywhere in shops. wonderful old days.

I doubt it's coming out this year. There not even done making the Delta Force: Xtreme 2, which was supposed to come out since February. I don't think this game is coming out for another year.

yup,delta force series are great....on single player maybe....but JoinT Operations is the best choice for MMO(Massively multiplayer online)gamming.The best part is that you have to work as a team,not like in DF going all by yourself...
P.S. I like DF series too but the ppl on the internet doesnt know how to play as a team(3/4 of ppl doesnt)

You won't see this game out or even a beta until 2010, Nova has pushed it back.
DF:Extreme2 will be out before DF:AF is produced.
The word is a beta may be out by 1st QTR of 2010. Don't hold your breath though.
P.S. I am a regular on the Novaworld2 forums.
