Riyadh: With the end of summer — a time when many weddings take place in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries — the local media is rife with reports announcing religious edicts surrounding marriages.
Under new forms of marriage including Misyar, Misfar (travel), Misyaaf (summer), Siyahi (tourist), friendship and lastly Wanasa (conversation), many Saudi and Arab Gulf tourists — who spend their summer holidays abroad — are reportedly engaging in temporary marriages with young girls and divorcing them before returning home. All of these new forms have stirred religious, ethical and social controversies.
Shaikh Saleh Al Sadlan, a member of the Saudi Supreme Council of Senior Scholars and professors of higher religious studies at the Imam Mohammad Bin Saudi Islamic University, stirred a controversy by approving the Wanasa form of marriage, which does not include sexual relations between a man and his wife.
Al Sadlan said that scholars of the past had approved such a form of marriage, which focuses only on talking, without having sex.
This, he said, used to happen between old men, who needed attention, and young women who didn't mind giving it in return for the status and security associated with marriage.
He added that the wife — in a Wanasa form of marriage — enjoys all other rights including accommodation, a dowry and alimony. Al Sadlan made this ruling when answering a question from a woman who questioned the legitimacy of a marriage in which there was no sexual relationship between the couple.
Dr Abdul Mohsin Al Obaikan, a member of the Shoura Council and a counsellor at the Justice Ministry, has also approved the Wanasa marriage, describing it as legal and as per Sharia.
However, Dr Mohammad Al Nujaimi, professor of Civil Studies at King Fahd Security College and a member of the Islamic Fiqh (jurisprudence) Academy, is totally against the Wanasa marriage, adding that he considers it illegal.
"How could a woman abandon her rights to have sex in married life?" he said.
He said any woman who accepts this kind of marriage does it only for worldly gain. He added that if an old, sick man, suffering from a number of diseases, perhaps diabetes, high blood pressure or arthritis, married a woman who had the same diseases, just so he could talk to her, then the marriage might be permissible.

Хадис "Сакалайн", что в переводе с арабского означает две тяжести или ценности, является наиболее известным и распространённым хадисом, достоверность которого ни у кого не вызывает сомнения. Его светлость посланник Аллаха Мухаммад Мустафа (да благословит Аллах его и род его!) в этом хадисе сказал: "О, люди! Я оставляю среди вас две ценные вещи, если вы будете держаться их, никогда не заблудитесь, Коран и моё семейство Ахл аль Байт. Смотрите же, будьте внимательны к ним после меня".
Одна, пожалуй, из главнейших обязанностей человека является познание истины и следование правильным убеждениям. Такой человек получает божественную милость и довольство Аллаха. Мы знаем, что посланники Аллаха ниспосылались для того, чтобы люди познали свои истинные цели и предназначение, а также достигли счастья в обоих мирах.
Именно поэтому его светлость Мухаммад (да благословит Аллах его и род его!) при различных обстоятельствах, и в разные периоды своей жизни неоднократно повторял хадис "Сакалайн", таким образом, он стремился, чтобы после его смерти исламская умма, следуя его указам, спасла себя от разногласий, раскола и заблуждений.
[9] «Сунан» Термези том 5 стр. 324. В книге «Сахих» Термези том 2 стр. 307 приводится хадис с передатчиками, восходящие к Яали ибн Марату, что он сказал: «Посланник Аллаха изволил сказать: «Хусейн от меня, а я от Хусейна. Аллах любит всякого, кто любит Хусейна и Хусейн - внук Пророка Ислама». Это предание приводится также в «Сахих» Бухари в разделе «Фил адаби аль муфрад фи баб аль муаникат ас сабии».
«Всякий, любящий Хасана и Хусейна любит меня, всякий враждующий с ними враждует со мной». Возвышенную, искреннюю и ярко выраженную духовную связь Пророка с Хусейном можно проследить в словах дорогого посланника Аллаха: «Хусейн от меня, а я от Хусейна[9]».
Аннас ибн Малик приводит хадис: «Когда у посланника Аллаха спросили: «Кого он больше всего любит из своего семейства?» Он отвечал: «Хасана и Хусейна». Пророк всегда обнимал Хасана и Хусейна, вдыхал их райский запах и с нежностью целовал[8]». И даже Абу Хурайра, который прислуживал Муавие, и являлся врагом семьи дорогого Пророка Ислама, приводит следующий хадис: «Как--то, я видел посланника Аллаха усадившего Хасана и Хусейна на свои плечи. Подойдя к нам, его светлость сказал:
Салман Фарси рассказывает: «Я видел, как посланник Аллаха, усадив маленького Хусейна на колени, с любовью целовал его и говорил: «Ты великий и благородный, сын великого и благородного и отец великих и благородных! Ты - Имам, сын Имама и отец Имамов, которых будет девять после тебя и последний из них -- Каим Имам Эпохи [7]».

После рождения Хусейна ибн Али (да будет мир с ним!) в четвёртом году лунной хиджры и вплоть до кончины Пророка, которая произошла через шесть лет и несколько месяцев после рождения Хусейна, люди были свидетелями безграничной любви и ласки посланника Аллаха по отношению к внуку. Shaikh Saleh Al Sadlan, a member of the Saudi Supreme Council of Senior Scholars and professors of higher religious studies at the Imam Mohammad Bin Saudi Islamic University, stirred a controversy by approving the Wanasa form of marriage, which does not include sexual relations between a man and his wife.
Al Sadlan said that scholars of the past had approved such a form of marriage, which focuses only on talking, without having sex.

Dr Abdul Mohsin Al Obaikan, a member of the Shoura Council and a counsellor at the Justice Ministry, has also approved the Wanasa marriage, describing it as legal and as per Sharia.
However, Dr Mohammad Al Nujaimi, professor of Civil Studies at King Fahd Security College and a member of the Islamic Fiqh (jurisprudence) Academy, is totally against the Wanasa marriage, adding that he considers it illegal.

Satan was tempting Jesus to try and see if God really has what it takes to keep his word, satan * was not * recommending a form of martyrdom for Christ ... and Christ's response was that God shouldnt be tried, * he did not specify a better form of martyrdom * ...
and he simply stated that tempting God (NOT self-mortification ) is forbidden.
