So they made it 6 frames so it can end in a draw, and i think later on they added a shot clock, and the commentator's are a bit younger and a bit more ''lively'' i guess you could say.
@BarcelonaCruyff Not really, the difference is that Davis still has a superb tactical & safety game. I'm a big fan of Jimmy White but if he's not playing at his very best he has little chance against the top players of today because they score so heavily when left half a chance.
He is 47 years old and this year he became the champion in Sangsom 6-red World Grand Prix - 2009 . Age is always a factor . People still love to see his game . More tickets are sold when jimmy is on the table . Alex higgins then jimmy white and then ronnie ! we need more players like them.
jimmy white came to our snooker club in woodhall. it was surprising how a supposed to be "past it" player knocked in century breaks in every frame he played in. a complete legend of the game. he even signed my book :D
well, hes drunk most of the time, even in matches. so you need to discount his play/form by 30% - assuming that, it is almost as he says in the "absolute snooker" video - dunno how he gets beat. haha.
