@tatmandu69 Actually Shields looked bad because styles make fights, In-fact Shields step into the octagon was actually not a step up in competition, He fought daily in strike-force who nocked kampmen senseless, and he took out Mike Pyle,,Okami,Condit, And don't even get me started about Hendo. He lost to the champ GSafeP in very impressive fashion, then he go KO when his father died. Shields is Leghit, and has a world of wealth & grappling knowledge when it goes to the Matt.

Ben went into this fight cocky...like he was the best , knowone could beat him....in this sport...u gotta expect the unexpected...here he is breaking down how he thinks frankie edgar and maynard....he got worked in the ring..hes gunna get worked in the UFC...its like...being sentdown to the minors in hockey...BEN is going to come up and FAIL...hes good..but he wont be as good in the UFC...we seen this in JAKE SHEILDS fight...Sheilds was awsome in WEC but he couldnt get thru two rounds in th UFC

ummm first of all jake shields fought for strikeforfce and he has already won his debut match against Kampann. I expect great things from the wec fighters. Look at Carlos Condit he came from the WEC and now hes doing great in the UFC

this fight was awesome! Ben probably would have won it, but that crazy kick that flattened him out, almost a KO, had to give it to pettis. Who cares who won, that was the best damn fight i've seen! (well, the long piggyback ride wasn't that entertaining)

I just watched the fight, and i am SOOOOOO MAD that Ben DIDN'T win! I am a HUGE Ben "SMOOTH" Henderson fan, and I REALLY wanted him to go to the UFC....

We'll, all I have to say to Anthony is Congratulations, but I (personally) DON'T think he will make it in the UFC, I think whom ever he fights, will teach him what the UFC is REALLY all about!!

Secondly, Pettis just beat the wec champ in Ben, who has been on a 10 win streak, the fight was dead even until the 5th rd so it's not like Pettis was struggling to keep up.. and then he lands the greatest kick ever seen in mma history...and somehow you think that UFC guys will teach him a lesson?!?! what the fuck are you smoking retard

And just so you know, Pettis planned that kick, I saw him training two days before the fight and he did that exact same kick over and over. He is absolutely dangerous because of his wild nature, it's almost impossible to prepare for someone like him.

Aldo fights in the featherweight division so he's too small for Pettis since he is in LW, dummy.

As for Pettis getting a lucky start... just about the dumbest thing i have ever heard, the fight was dead even(2-2) until the final minute of the last round. that LEGENDARY KICK that pettis dealt to henderson is what tipped the scale. and it wasn't a fluke since i saw him practice that move 2 days before the fight.
