I got them to that level by repeating the Cave of trial stages, the Dark shrine stage and by making them go through the high level portals to the dark world. This video was recorded after I'd played the game for a total over 300hrs btw...so yeah they take a long time to level up!
Where have you been training over level 150 - 200 ? Your characters are a bit weak for someone who have played 300hrs.
Training on 7 Hekatoncheirs then 7 Baals I had Homard level 1600, Prier level 1200 and Chocolat level 1500 after 250 hour, and I spent a good amount of hours combining items instead of training.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to show off, and I don't mean any offense at all.
Most of that time was from going through the story on multiple cycles and going through dark world trying to trigger the overlord prier scene each time for the title...
I thought it was just 20 500+ and 1 700+ all in 1 run (which was misprinted as just 20 500 and 1 700+)? Though I don't have the game so.. yeah...(also does Omega see this msg if I reply to you--since this also sorta was a note to him as well..)
Yeah, it's 20 Overlords level 500+, and one level 700+, however, I usuall spend hours trying to get the title, and getting like ... 18 level 500+, one level 700+ ... And I can't seem to find what makes the monster go stronger. Cause I sometime get monsters about level 800 on F1, and sometimes they're about level 450. ;_;
:o right, forgot about that. Hmm that would put a damper on any plans :<. Hmm guess the most surefire way would be having to kill the 800 on F1 monsters;-; ah well, thank you for answering me.

u can also increase the dark world dark energy by killing each other to train better

You can also train them higher by having them kill each other and somehow kill that giant tree thing in the Cave of Ruins.
