free shippings ok with auction because some people paying more qwell theree cash can pool in to give poorer people the shipping cost free shipping is good for generating custom
I offer free shipping. Start the auction at a higher price to cover the shipping, your not losing a cent.people who search for items look at price plus shipping for the lowest price. Nobody can give you low marks on shipping price when you offer free shipping.:)
eBay's push for sellers to offer free shipping hasn't been something they have done for years, it's still pretty recent. In fact, check out the top sellers. Most if not all of their items have free shipping. With offering Free Shipping, you can't be muscled out for "shipping time' rating.
@moonlightkisu Then you will probably find that over time, your DSR's will suffer and before you know it, you will have your selling privileges removed.
you have to be sure youre DSRs are up and ur listings have visibility or free shipping can screw you up! and starting something at .99 cent is risky too! The best thing to do is to start the auction at the minimum you want , because people know what they want to pay! And Reserve auctions are a joke too! 2 bucks to use it, and if bidders dont meet it, you dont sell your item and still owe 2 bucks!
Yes, you should offer free shipping, because although it costs more, you will have more sales which makes up for the extra expense. We offer free shipping on all of our items and it has worked out great. It will help you meet your DSRs to get your top rated seller status! PS - We sell a lot of items because our listings look MUCH more professional than others. Focus on the quality of your listings and YOU will be chosen over other crappy listings. No, dont' offer free shipping! That only makes ebay more money! Then they get to charge you fees for the entire amount plus shipping! Do you know what I mean?

nope. No free shipping, shipping is WAY too expensive, especially for USPS. Only on very light/cheap items do I use free shipping.
