Put your open handed fingers to the flame until the tips nearly touch it. Make a fist and the flame should go out if you are quick enough. No swing ,no body movement. Try it

A box of matches on it's end on a table. Do the same except do not knock the matches over. Have fun

the whipping motion is good but it acts like a fan so if you to strike someone it would just piss your opponent off.

can already do this...candles with cases make good practice...hard tho. i can do it from about 5 feet away.

this is good. to really test yourself, you should try not pulling the hand back cos that drains the flame of the air, that has the essential oxygen it needs to burn.

It looks easy, but I can't say that until I've tried it. But it is cool though. It looks like your grabbing the flame and hiding it away from the word. This little light of mine........I'm gonna let it shine....... Ahem... Sorry, I just starting thinking of that song........
