I think Dede was still rather unknown at the time the video was made, I mean, since Vasco was not playing any important game(mid-table throughout the season), the only one watching him were the Vasco fans.

Watching him play this year in Carioca and in Copa do Brazil though made me agree with you, although I still think Toloi is very good as well, Dede is better

Toloi is a great defender. He's exactly what an European team needs. Strong, skilled, always concentrated, knows positioning etc.

i have no regrets about including him in our top ten. well, not yet at least. but he is a bit of a lad (his nickname at Palmeiras was 'Zé Love'). so, there's not telling what he might get up to off the pitch! haha

Toloi and Ganso had rather average season and not sure whether they deserve to be that high. What is Ze Eduardo doing there at all? Mario Fernandes, Marcelinho (Lucas), Casemiro or, say, Danilo deserve to be there much more than the mentioned ones (at least from my point of view). Too bad that Coutinho left or he'd definitely be there. Wouldn't also be too surprised to see some others get some limelight soon (Neuton, Tinga, Ciro, Dudu). Thanks for the video, btw!

thanks Mario – it was difficult to narrow the list down to just ten players. Renan (Avaí) was on the original list. We’re also fans of Willians at Flamengo but he's 24. We also like Grêmio’s Adílson - he’s a very competent player.

Nice video, but... Zé Eduardo?! Really, man?! I think I can name at least 5 young players who are better than him. Adílson (Grêmio), Lucas (São Paulo), Willians (Flamengo), Renan (Avaí) or Neto (Atlético-PR), Mário Fernandes (Grêmio)... The list goes on. And I would give more time to Leandro Damião, he needs a lot of improvement before he can be considered a great player. He has potential, though. And Dentinho is overrated, in my humble opinion.
