  • SICCCCCCCCKK!

  • DAMN good set... i m baging out 135 for 10!!! try wrist wraps and lose the gloves?? just a idea i did it and felt a lil more stable. but overall good set Man!!!

  • Great depth, great control, especially with that amount of weight...keep it up.

  • Excellent, controlled reps, while holding a mountain between the legs

  • danço + e tremeu muito..

  • yellow gym we meet again

  • at 0:15 I swear he lets out a big fart and wafts it around...

  • i woul;d love a frame for doing dips... i do them all the time in the gym but i havent got enuff room for a frame in my house

  • @MrIrishrover2011 get some rings ... a bit harder but after you get used to them they are just as good or even better

  • I'm pretty sure if I tried 200lbs, my arms would rip out of their sockets.

  • @desolationofsmaug I get tired of that excuse. If you're bigger, then you have more muscle....This is what you are saying....If you have a Semi that can pull 20,000 lbs 100ft....and you have an S10 pick up truck that can pull 25,000lbs 150 ft, you're saying the Semi has more weight to pull because it's bigger... Which makes no sense because if you're bigger you should be able to do more weight because of more muscle.....

  • @chaverria yes but bf percentage is something you must also consider because fat is usless weight unlike muscle.

  • crazy shit man

  • wow all u r fucking retards how bout max weight and high reps!!! duh!!!! more muscel and quiker muscel

  • you guys should stop bitching at each other, if you want to get huge and really strong, you do both, high weight low reps and high reps low weight. they both have their place in a good training regiment

  • props

  • Holy shit, and i am struggeling with only my own fucking bodyweight. You can be certified as a beast.

  • lol.... why dont u just use one plate and get some real reps in? like 20-25..

  • @obezana what other excersice while lifting weights do you do 25 reps? retard

  • @pattbateman I agree! perhaps this noob considers 'real reps' to be in the useless rep range of 20-25?......we should all follow his bodybuilding advice so WE TOO can be scrawny noobs who may as well be doing cardio instead of weights!

    rep noob

  • @pattbateman most people want their arms bigger... 4 reps isnt gna do that...

  • @obezana 4 reps will do it if you do heavy weight and multiple sets. jackass.

  • @pattbateman yeah high weight low reps.. must be why every fucking bodybuilder on the planet uses high reps... whys ur fatass talking to me?

  • @obezana check out the MAX OT workout. i gained 40 lbs in a year, kept the same body fat % and the six pack. it really is a great program. the low reps and heavy weight force your body and hormones to adapt in a different way. body builders are for the most part just maintaining and cutting down their huge physique, not putting on slabs of muscle. high reps are generally not going to be efficient in putting on mass. compare the physiques of a long distance runner and 100m sprinter.

  • @AdairSchultz lick. ass.

  • @pattbateman Actually, 4 reps develops more power and strength than hypertrophy. 10-12 is best for hypertrophy. It's good to change rep ranges though.

  • idiot fat looser

  • this guy is massive, awesome job

  • your gym looks like a factory bro. or a giant school bus

  • what a machine

  • I weight 235lb plus i use a 20kg weight to dip. does that make me strong

  • i weigh 165lb and today did 7 reps with 30kg

  • @30059686 good effort man.

Its all a building block, i feel dips and pull ups are the best possible for strengh building. although I do struggle doing pull ups lol

  • @accesspwd12 up to 20kg on close grip chins for 7 reps too lol first half of theset is alright.... the rest um i dont wanna be under that bar!! hahaha

    train hard man!!

  • @30059686 Keep at it

    Train hard...Fight easy

  • ive trained with pro bodybuilders for years

ive never seen them use that much weight on dips....ever

    use your brain

  • dude your an animal

  • for dips with that much weight his tris looks like crap

  • @gibby5335 how do you figure?

  • I can do 15kg now.

The heavier it gets the more akward on the shoulders i find.

  • how much do you weigh? does that factor?

  • @MrCrowley607 it factors a lot when you go up 2.5kg lets say you weigh 60kg thats not even 10% of your bodyweight so progrss should be faster.

  • @MrCrowley607 someone weighting 200lbs doing 10 dips is stronger than a person 150lbs doing 10 reps

  • now that was impressive

  • good job!

  • I can do (weighted) dips 3x(8-12) with 12.5kg is this good?

  • by grandma what big balls you have

  • That is one sketchy rack, wobbling all over the place. Good dips tho.

  • im only 13 years old and I can do PERFECT and FULL depth dips at 201lbs bodyweight at 6'4", all muscle, using 100lbs added to my harness. ;P

  • @13andincrediblycutt Video please

  • @soccerlover10012 I will post soon.

    Sub me if u wish!

  • @13andincrediblycutt I'll subscribe when I see the video

  • @soccerlover10012 I will uplod soon! :)

    I promise

  • @13andincrediblycutt He added 200 though why would you boast less...

  • Bravo!!!

  • always nice to see good form. Never understood why people sacrifice form for numbers.

  • @m5p944 I like to see you do it.

  • good form

  • outstanding , excelente, excellent ,

  • @13andincrediblycut dude..thats gotta be un healthy... 202lbs at 13? damn bro thats insain. lol, why would u even wanna be that much at that age?

  • @crawler697 Can't help it I'm tall and atheltic and have muscle mass. :(

  • i wonder what his bench is at

  • heavy weight

  • nice man. good form

  • what kind of belt is it??

  • damn... sick job dude. that shits tough. im only one 1 45 right now but thats for 10 reps... hopefully ill be where u are in a few years

  • when you are on the juice, anything is possible

  • @submitted When you're a pussy, everyone's on the juice.

  • @TrueFreek spoken like a true roid user

  • I know a guy who can do 200lb weighted dips and is half his size!

  • @chaverria It's known as a fact, that big muscles have lots of non-muscle tissue in them. Naturally developed muscles are never that big. For me, the ideal muscle mass is that of a gymnast or some 50-70 kg heavyweightlifter.

  • Sick triceps mate.

  • do that again, except this time, hang the weights off your balls.

  • How can you workout to this song?

  • Quite strong. I would like to ask you a question. Have you had any problems with elbows or shoulders so far? I got to: me+150lbs x 4 with the same form you do and I am not really sure if its a good idea to keep the plates coming. I tried to read some stuff on the web but opinions vary a lot...Its just that it looks harmful.

  • Crayzeee

  • thats tough and sick form

  • BEAST!

  • nice job!

  • All you really need is a dip and a pull up bar. You can throw the rest of that expensive equipment away!

  • @faffaflunkie kind of, the rack i got sucks, it shakes like a bitch on ice, i wish i had one like that, i could do more weight!

  • It sorta looked like those were bumper 45 plates

  • Guys giving him advice can stop,he didn't get here without knowing those things.

  • awesome power man!

  • Gross Destructive Power

  • those sir are some good dips! nice depth!

  • you're working your chest which is reasonable to be this strong but

to hit the triceps, you must keep your body straight

  • at 260 i used a 140lb dumbell and did 7 dips...thats 400 lbs...so 200 lbs of extra weight is massive....4 dips with that weight is very incredible...i hope your lower back is ok...dips ARE more impressive than benching..keep dipping!!

  • not fair

  • nice ROM

  • Mucho impressive!

  • BEAST

  • that gym looks badass

  • Looks expensive; I couldn't imagine being in a gym with equipment made of gold.

  • how tall is he?

  • Solid!

  • absolutly amazing

  • I like the short waddle with the weight when he's done. lol

  • @cfleming352 It's weird. I tend to do that as well. Dunno why.

  • We'll call this set about 7 reps including the negative reps from the song playing in the background.

  • yellow equipment is made by techno gym. its just their unique thing. could be a different brand but in australia, techno gym is yellow/grey

  • what's the name of this song hahah, isn't it nelly and tim mcgraw? also what's with the yellow gym?

  • so much yellow

  • i bet his balls are that size anyway from all the testosterone hahaha

  • actually your balls get smaller, as they don't have to produce as much testosterone(because it is being supplied by other means)

  • touche'

  • that's if you're enhancing yourself with steroids dude, if you have a lot of testosterone naturally and from hard work your be hung like a mothafucka

  • Awesome technique man good lift

  • that was awesome, he actually went deep on them too. I got 135 2sets at 7 reps each tonight and was proud of that.. Can't imagine what it feels like at the bottom with 200!

  • H christ thats strong

  • Comment removed

  • cool

  • awesome form man

  • nice strength bro watch out with low reps on the dips though.

  • Now you know what it feels like to be black

  • LMFAO

  • dips are my favorite exercises. Just started doing them, weighted today

  • they are awesome....i started them with chin ups and they just feel so natural...

  • i agree with big javs. i have long arms and i never feel benches in my chest unless i squeeze.

  • Hey, I have a question; how do you deal with the strain on your hips when you do that? I only do a little over 100 for my dips but even with that I have like permanent marks on the sides of my hips from the weight belt digging into them. I try to align it so the belt is going along the same part as the elastic band of my gym shorts, but I can't imagine that would work for 200+ pounds.

  • dont take this the wrong way, but man up and do it

dont worry about what the belts gonna do

  • Well it's never stopped me 0_o. I'm just curious if there's anything that can be done to minimize the strain. I mean I plan on

Course I suppose it's in the same vein as callouses on the palm, just one of the many marks of lifting.

  • either a) a better belt or b) make it tighter

  • try small towels placed between the belt and your body

  • And here I am using 110 for negatives lol.. sick triceps dude, friggin huge!

  • ur a beast, i sarted using weight on my dips but only 10kg for 15reps

  • good grief man. thats really impressive

    way to go dude

  • Awesome job man way to go down a little past parallel too

  • Very Nice bro, what a beast!!

In my opinion, Dips are far superior to the bench press when it come to building a large, strong chest.

I don't even do flat bench anymore, just incline barbell and dumbbells, and of course DIPS!!

  • That would probably be because the bench press is not a chest exercise unless you're performing it with very, very bad form.

  • i almost never feel benches in my chest. my front delts get hit the hardest.

  • oh really? I bet you've been a personal trainer for a very long time.... I was doing flat bench, incline bench, decline bench last night and thought i was doing chest.....normal/wide grip on the bar is chest, closed grip is for triceps

  • The pectoralis major plays a major role in the bench press only if the elbows are flared out to the sides at the "bottom" of the movement. This is not desirable because it places excessive stress on the shoulder joint and on the pec-delt tie-in.

Correct bench form entails a reasonable degree of elbow tuck on the way down (typically a 45-degree angle between humerus and torso). Bar ascension is initiated by flaring the lats and completed primarily by the triceps and anterior deltoids.

  • The muscles of the chest are obviously going to contribute to the movement, as the humerus is moving anteriorly (from anatomical position), but its contribution is relatively minor when benching with a barbell because the change in humeral angle is initially accomplished by the lats, and occurs later as a function of the elbow straightening with no change in grip width on the bar. The pecs play a much greater role in the DB variant because the grip is no longer fixed.

  • The chest contribution to the movement when performed with a barbell is thus relatively minor, as the initial change in angle between the humerus and the front of the torso occurs as a function of the lats contracting, and is completed as the triceps work to extend the elbow with no change in grip width.

The DB version of the exercise places a greater emphasis on the pectoral muscles, since the wrists are no longer mechanically forced to be in the same position.

  • I also hope that you're doing plenty of pull-ups and horizontal rowing exercises to build up strength in the upper back, as a significant anterior bias in strength will generally lead to shoulder problems down the road.

  • whoever did thumbs down on this is a fucking idiot because it is true that proper bench pressing uses mostly lats, triceps and delts and minimal pecs. DB bench/oncline bench/wide dips is what you want for pecs.

  • You're expecting an intelligent response from youtube commenters?

  • Nice whats your bw?

  • dude you are ripped and bulky if i was you id try to stay exactli how you are right now dats perfect after all too big is ugly.

  • Beast. Nice form even with all the heavy ass weight.

  • destroys your ellbows

  • impressive, i usually use bw + 75 lbs, and thats pretty tough. i couldnt imagine 200

  • Why do you usually use a certain weight? You should try and use more weight every time.....

  • yeah, i didnt mean thats what i always use. that was what i used in the gym on the day that i posted that comment

  • looks like my ball sack.....

  • sexy

  • 200 plus bw is tough. Good stuff there.

  • insane strength.

  • kamy does 100 dips but no weights

  • that's a really really heavy dip but he's a lighter guy as strength athletes go. i dont imagine he weighs more than 210

  • Wow! And good depth too. How much do you weigh?

  • Inspirational as well... and dips can be a very excellent mass builder and you can go heavy provided you exercise some restraint and dont try to push the weights up too aggressively... its my goal to be doing what this guy is in a couple years... right now I can get 100+ lbs for 3-4 reps so plenty of work to do!

  • do u think negatives will help ?

n does it matter if u use dumbbells or plates ?

cuz i wanna get to 135 n rep it, currently at 100x3 (160 BW)

  • I don't think it matters, 135lbs of plates is 135lbs of dumbbells.

  • This would be a great candidate for the "do you have 10 lb balls?" joke, lol. Very nice job man.

  • other than the music, that was sick. get some rage or tool, or something that makes me want to kill someone. i dip my weight @ 195, but ive only been doing them for 4 weeks.

  • THE fastest way to get strong and big in the pecs, tris and delts!

  • oversized ballz

    Impressive though. =)

  • Damn, very impressive

  • Good job

  • Perfect form man.

  • this gym plays crappy music

  • fucking animal!

  • i'm guessing he weighs 220 or so. so he's dipping 420 for 4. that's like benching 340 for 4. Dips blows benches out of the water for mass and strength. You can do them more frequently as well because they don't tear your cuffs and pec tendons down. DIPS ARE KING

  • I was "out of commission" for months because of a cuff tear from weighted dips. I like dips for strength and size, but going overboards with the amount of weight added can end badly.

  • im gonna disagree with that statement. i have two f'ed up shoulders because of weighted dips, bench isn't good either but dips arent king....dont get me wrong i love doing them, but they screwed up my shoulders

  • If you dip to low it can be rough on the shoulders.

  • For all these comments about dips hurting you in the end, I just want to point out that all these exercises can hurt you if you don't work up to them very slowly, with proper technique.

Someone should start mastering dips with their feet on the ground, then the feet higher, then feet not touching anything, then low dips, then low slow dips, different grip dips, knees or legs in different position dips, fast dips, clapping dips, jump and spin dips, etc...

..then weighted dips enter your routine

  • You are exaggerating a little bit. No need for clapping dips or spin dips?!? Learn to do the exercise and when you can perform 15-20 good reps, then start adding weight.

  • @anithen gotta love these people who never attempt to lift, but suddenly become sports medicine experts when they see a video where someone lifts big scary weights.

The same idiots who say "yer gonna hert yerself herp derp" are the ones who herniate a disc shoveling snow off their driveway when they're 40. Shut the fuck up and live the life of a pussy. You chose it, don't speak to the people who decided to be something more.

  • @HeavyMetalBoise haha you've no idea how u've hit the spot there XD

  • @anithen Golden advice: patience, persistence, and proper progression.

  • @anithen ok mr dips expert. i suppose you know all about different brands of dip for ripple chips too.

  • @zozenis ok mr.hater. i suppose you hate on every person in youtube too.

  • @zozenis Hahahahhahahahahahahahahahha, best Youtube comment ever.
