@errolthecat You know size charts exist when you exchange info with a seller China works with Europe sizing charts its your US jacket size plus 10 you have to clear the sizing issue and it only cost 40 bucks to return a jacket to China.

Hi, it's good you alert that there are fake jackets on the market. There are fake/copies of almost everything. And very often from Cina/Asia. An easy way to avoid this problem is to buy from authorised dealers (is that correct in english?) and not from someone on like e-bay. Even when buying from the most trustable dealer, you can still get a fake jacket, because the dealer too doesn't know his/her jacket is fake. Fake and real can come from same factory. Some are sold on black market, some not.
"Most" of these people... you can't assume that just because someone is walking around with an "expensive" jacket must have a fake one. Maybe they saved their entire pay check to splurge on the purchase, maybe they got it as a present, maybe they are well off, and maybe they bought a counterfeit one. Either way, you don't know until you slice their damn coat open to be 100% sure. So no, "most" people wearing these jackets may or may not "probably" be wearing a "China Goose" just my 2 cents...

Why is it that people insist on owning a parka rated for arctic field research when they really don't need one rated for those types of conditions and then proceed to complain about the price they pay. As someone who actually uses a Canada Goose parka for their intended purpose, for field research in the Arctic Circle, all I have to say is don't buy it unless you need it, it makes it even more difficult for researchers like me to find a genuine parka that may, one day, save our lives.

correction the tag on the left bottom pocket is correct prior to 2009 thats how the tag looked i also assume you didnt know canada goose was called snow goose of canada prior to the new CG. ps. if you own Real CG parkas u notice theres no vent holes at the under arms and cheep fur and fill mean cheep jackets who cares about labels..

The older ones do have two lines on the front label. The easiest way to spot a fake other than ripping out the interior is to examine the fur. It's pretty easy to tell visually if it's genuine coyote.
I have an Expedition that I bought 3 years ago and the label on the front lower pocket says "Canada Goose, Expedition Clothing Outfitters" This is a real genuine Canada Goose Parka. Maybe the newer models 2010 + have a different label on the front lower pocket. In no way is my CG a fake, it was bought at Le Barons.

Please do some research about the label on the left hand side pocket. If you looked at my video, I have the logo on the left hand side pocket that says "Canada Goose Expedition Clothing Outfitters" that you call fake. Although, my isn't fake. In 2009, that's what their logo said. In mid-2009, they changed it to a bold white lettering that only says Canada Goose. If some of you have the logo that is shown in this video, then it may be real or fake.
Everyone has them now, that's why I recently bought a Parajumper Gobi, more stylist, also down, but only 90%. You won't find any jacket in the market atm, with more pockets/compartments than this one, approximately 14 or so, if I counted correctly. However it's not as warm as the Canada Goose. Who knows, maybe by next year, when people catch on, everyone will start wearing Parajumpers. Just like the Canada Goose jackets today.

I'm 18 myself and own a legit Canada Goose Chilliwack Parka. "Young people" are capable of getting jobs and buying one of these jackets with a month's worth of savings.
Note that all jackets that have the logo that says "Canada Goose Expedition Clothing Outfitters" are not all fake. In mid-2009, they changed the logo to a bold white logo that said "Canada Goose" because many people were making knock-off (fake) parkas. They switched it so they can identify if it was authentic or not. Not saying this is real because there is other things that shows it fake such as the fur. But yeh, giving you heads up! :D

A better review would be comparison of a real one to your fake. You're also incorrect regarding the label on the outer pocket. The first rounds of production for these jackets had the two line label. Only the recent models only say Canada goose.

Why is it that people insist on owning a parka rated for arctic field research when they really don't need one rated for those types of conditions and then proceed to complain about the price they pay. As someone who actually uses a Canada Goose parka for their intended purpose, for field research in the Arctic Circle, all I have to say is don't buy it unless you need it, it makes it even more difficult for researchers like me to find a genuine parka that may, one day, save our lives.

The real questions are NOT answered in this video: Will it keep you warm in a Toronto winter? You suggest the lining "might" be chicken feathers, but you have no idea without opening up this jacket. The older ones do have two lines on the front label. The easiest way to spot a fake other than ripping out the interior is to examine the fur. It's pretty easy to tell visually if it's genuine coyote.

I have an Expedition that I bought 3 years ago and the label on the front lower pocket says "Canada Goose, Expedition Clothing Outfitters" This is a real genuine Canada Goose Parka. Maybe the newer models 2010 + have a different label on the front lower pocket. In no way is my CG a fake, it was bought at Le Barons.

and the fake ones have bird feathers, and collect moisture and start to rot.
and if you have an allergy to mold, they will be in effect.

Please do some research about the label on the left hand side pocket. If you looked at my video, I have the logo on the left hand side pocket that says "Canada Goose Expedition Clothing Outfitters" that you call fake. Although, my isn't fake. In 2009, that's what their logo said. In mid-2009, they changed it to a bold white lettering that only says Canada Goose. If some of you have the logo that is shown in this video, then it may be real or fake.

Everyone has them now, that's why I recently bought a Parajumper Gobi, more stylist, also down, but only 90%. You won't find any jacket in the market atm, with more pockets/compartments than this one, approximately 14 or so, if I counted correctly. However it's not as warm as the Canada Goose. Who knows, maybe by next year, when people catch on, everyone will start wearing Parajumpers. Just like the Canada Goose jackets today.

The statement that most people are wearing a fake is false. MOST people wear real ones. $600 is not completely outrageous for a jacket especially of that quality.
I'm 18 myself and own a legit Canada Goose Chilliwack Parka. "Young people" are capable of getting jobs and buying one of these jackets with a month's worth of savings.

Note that all jackets that have the logo that says "Canada Goose Expedition Clothing Outfitters" are not all fake. In mid-2009, they changed the logo to a bold white logo that said "Canada Goose" because many people were making knock-off (fake) parkas. They switched it so they can identify if it was authentic or not. Not saying this is real because there is other things that shows it fake such as the fur. But yeh, giving you heads up! :D

A better review would be comparison of a real one to your fake. You're also incorrect regarding the label on the outer pocket. The first rounds of production for these jackets had the two line label. Only the recent models only say Canada goose.
