  • I personally dont care if Gen. Choi Hong Hi doesnt know how to fight.............. but I personally care that he invented beautiful martial art. I respect him because he created Taekwondo and spreaded the peace all around the world .......

  • salute general !!:)

  • I agree wholeheartedly - ITF is Taekwondo- end of. It is beautiful.

  • What is the soundtrack to this video?

  • I dont care ITF or WTF. I just love Taekwondo but still Respect Choi Hong hee without him there will be No Taekwondo or another Federational. im from WTF....I will always Respect Master CHoi the most.

  • took me 12 years to get to 4th dan by the way :)

  • @shanjo243 how long till first dan? Lol, I'm 30 and don't have high aspirations of going past 2

  • @hashashin821 it took me 3 years to get it :)

  • i had the pleasure of training for 2 days under the generals son - now i am a 4th degree black belt and even though i cannot train anymore due to health issues, i still have massive respect for everything i have learned from his books and from his son.

  • Father of TKD my ass.

  • @hazza3 i think he just the father of itf not taekwondo

  • hey real WTF schools arent that crappy like those that give dan grades to children, we have to do national exams to get one and only if you;re 16 or above and we use hands and shizzle like that yo, i like turtles

  • @DuhDudeSonny most of them self grad them self and dont even train with higher up master Instructors or higher up instructors there just get there training of a vidoe tapes that bad ppl dont like here that and geting scamer men my grand mum can kick wtf taekwondo ass

  • wtf sucks

  • They sure do TKD different than they do it in the US. Seems like all martial arts gets watered down by the time they get ot the US.

  • Jhoon Rhee would own this dude in my opinion

  • SONG NAME PLEASE

  • Yawn. Typical rubbish comments. News Flash folks, TKD is a contact sport, NOT a martial art. That's why it's in the Olympics just like Judo. Having said that, it's a fun sport I enjoy watching. Well done to all those who are exceptionally good with their kick / leg control.

  • @colincurwood Have you watched this video to the end?! WTF federation is olympic. This is ITF federation(originaly) semi-contact but punches to the face is allowed. But sparring isnt everything in Taekwondo(in ITF and few WTF schools).

  • @ThunderonCZ WTF isnt taekwondo it shit

  • @AMERICAN175 I dont want be vulgar. But I dont accept WTF like tkd. Its other style with other type of trainings and WTF was captured later than ITF. I have new name for WTF Tae-do everyone who know anything about tkd know what Im talking about. :D

  • @ThunderonCZ no hand ;)

  • @ThunderonCZ lol xD

  • @ThunderonCZ w.t.f and i. t.f are sister martial art forms . i love and respect all forms of martial arts. but, everyones in tittled to their own opinions.

    PIECE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ThunderonCZ Troll more on the internet. It will help you learn basic english.

  • @ThunderonCZ I even would say it is TAE without any DO... but only my opinion ...

  • @ThunderonCZ I think that it was named WTF because it isn't understandable their reason of not respecting Choi Hong Hi as the TaeKwonDo creator

  • @AMERICAN175 i know WTF taekwondo is a scamer not even a real martial when i was looking for a martial art club i seen a 12 year old wearing a 3 dan black belt and a 15 year old wear a 5th dan black belt and there dont even block there just Dancing rould and kick what the used in what a wast of money better of doing a boxing club tell you the true. a real martial art is karate do or itf taekwondo or kang fu i have done Rheetaekwondo and now doing gojo karate do

  • @BILLYTHEKID250 its imposible because you have to be 15 to ba a 1st dan and even if they were 15 its very difficult to reach 1st dan with 15 years

WTF is shit because they dont even respect taekwondo taekwondo isnt only kicks the name in english is "The way of the hand and foot" and its clearly that u can use the hands and wtf doesnt allow it so as a final conclusion WTF isnt TAEKWONDO and they dont have de respect to say that wtf isnt taekwondo

    PS: Sorry for my English

  • @AMERICAN17 nerr mate your enlish is ok. my dad sad is a dancing club that kicks and jumps and break borads it big joke . i have done 5 years ago itf taekwondo and got up to 1st kup and i only just got my brown belt with goju karate training 3 year now realy martial art

  • @AMERICAN175 W.T.F is only sparring without Tull , special and breaking techniques !!!

  • @AMERICAN175 W.T.F is only sparring without Tull , special and breaking techniques !!!

  • I go to tae kwon do too its really cool

  • dudes i do taekwondo and its awsome

  • Nice tribute to a great contributor to the Martial arts world.

  • @starstruck2501 it's "the rock" movie theme

  • R.I.P General Chai Che Hong-Hee !!!

  • Thumbs up to the General. What an art he fathered...!

  • Reminds me of hwoarang from tekken :3

  • Отец!! Наш Батя! :D

  • Choi is my grandma's last name and shes korean

  • im going TKD next year!!!

went 4 free lessons and im addicted allready (:

kick-boxing and boxing sucks bcuz its about bleeding the other one till he is soooo fcked up

  • @wankarx i wish youthe best of luck, its the best decision ive EVAAAA made! i love it cus its fun as hell beating on people, and it keeps you in great shape. i started at 3 years old :p you made the right decision

  • @80dollarmagicman thanks man! im stretching allready a bit cuz they have vacation atm...

i know the first and the second tools too, first i was a volleyball player but i started to hate playin in a team, i want kick someones ass in my own strategy!:)

  • @wankarx good idea to stretch, personally, in my TKD academy, we start sparing at green belt. i, as a 1st dan (dan = black belt) just got accepted into an olympic sparing class, and though its tough, in WTF (World Tae-Kwondo Federation) at tournament, you nail them as hard as you can, and try to knock them out. cant think of anything more fun to do. remember when you start sparing, even if your not as good as the other guy, make sure you keep it light, but full contact, otherwise you could

  • @wankarx end up pusing the floor :p

  • @ThunderonCZ not really ITF and WTF are about the same. just that ITF uses more hands than WTF

  • @741741741 The Round Kick is done completely differently, and im not sure if the WTF teaches Turning Kicks with the Ball of the Foot. Just one point of note :)

  • People there is a book by Alex Gillis that tells you a lot about Taekwondo, its called the " A Killing Art" I thought it was brilliant. Having studied TKD for 21 years, i was so informative and balanced.

Also, as an aside to the person who negatively said that we should study a real art like Krav Maga or Muay Thai...you know nothing, I have studied Krav Maga and all the tools and application are contained withing the art of Taekwondo....No respect!

  • how the hell they can break a ciment block without having any damage to the hand

  • @Kishara2 oh theres damage.

  • General Choi was great man. And ITF taekwondo is great too. WTF just do shame to tkd.

  • @ThunderonCZ Taekwondo it's a big family, is about what do you have to offer. I've done both styles and for me it's has been harder use the WTF.

  • I go and its wonderful

  • unlike most of the martial arts in TKD it takes a long time to become a real master and its techniques become real practical .

i think real TKD is the best not what we see from Olympic and ... .

  • O.O im doing Muay Thai for 13 yearsand ive only met Teakwondoo fighters that are anyhow gay.. i dunno... but these guys rock the hell O.O

  • @ThinkTwice1990 thats cz u'r lookin at the taekwondo that was a traditional martial art in korea before it became an international sport ;)

  • please this is ITF bullshit.

  • yeah General Choi did a great work, too bad they had to divide TKD to WTF and ITF taekwondo , and ITF are allowed only in Australia or Canada (WHICH IS TOO BAD! ) ITF is the traditional TKD, and its darn badass!

  • @dark50killer ITF TKD is allowed in more conutries, I´ve I precticed in Colombia for 24 years, ant there are ITF scholls in all latin America.

  • my grand master was his student. like his right hand man. i'm proud as hell that i'm able to say that =]

  • 3:30 Is Tomaz Barada!!

  • KiraxRo, Don't disgrace this tribute, or you disgrace Choi Hong Hi, A master and a legend who deserves respect!

  • He created TKD?

  • @ThatPeenoAlvin Yes. He founded it, to be more exact.

  • My Goodness, all this arguing about Taekwondo. It's up to the individual/s performance makes he/she a honorable practictioner. So quit arguing, sound like something coming out of the movie "They call me Bruce."

  • General Choi(Che) Hong-Hee

1918~2002. Thank You for this humble martial art u havegiven to us .....

  • whats the name of the song????

  • fuking gangster, respect.

  • I heard he kicked through a tree.

  • lol imagine sparring with this general, id get destroyed hehe he'd probably slice me in half with an axe kick

  • All martial arts are effective if taught by a compitant teacher and give us an oportunity to better ourselves both in the dojo and out in the real world. General Choi had a good grounding in these matters as a grduate at Wasada Univercity in Japan where he studied Shotokan Karate and had the good fortune to receive some teachings from the founder of modern Karate Funakoshi Gichin.

  • really fun to watch!! thx!!!

  • Disciplines of TKD:

    Control Accuracy Speed Power

In that exact order. If you can't Control your kick you cannot be accurate. If you are not Accurate what is the point in kicking, you will not make contact with your opponent. If you do not have Speed you will not strike your opponent before they strike you. If you do not have Power you cannot disable your opponent. If you do not have all of these, you will not prevent your opponent from hurting you, or themselves.

  • @GrimReapiN That is true.

Although that is like saying you need every single Tae Kwon-Do technique that you have been taught in order to defend yourself. At a seminar i attended conducted by Grandmaster C.K Choi, he stated that he would give you a Black Belt if you have one good technique. Of course, for that one technique you would need all the principles you listed but its just one technique. A very profound statement i thought.

GM C.K Choi is a great man and has excellent skill.

  • I can't understand the subtitles though . . . .

  • R.I.P.

  • 3:26 WHY DO THEY FIGHT WHIT SHOES ON?

  • @blackbelt807 they arent shoes. they are like gloves for the feet. they are the same material as the gloves they have on. there is no bottom to them, just bands to hold them on your feet. it only covers the top of the foot and sometimes the shin.

  • @alxaram k i didnt know tjat thanks

  • Woa nevermind shes not doing it right

  • WOW!

the little girl at 3:55 does a fucking scorpion kick

  • @KiraxRo like redjimmy said you have no respect i dont think you should be dissing other martial arts lets see you get punnched in the face

    "bye bye"

  • the ones who practice tkd once in his life are thankful for creating such a wonderful martial arts thanks a lot. It's a shame you are no longer with us fisically but you are in our souls.

  • This is a Great Man.

  • taekwondo is nothing like karate, TKD is a art you really need to master, comes from the soul, studying ur oponent taking ur time to judge, relaxing and counter attacking, some people here really need to study up on there art a bit!

  • @evojoe011 Just so you know, taekwondo came from karate.

  • @evojoe011 Exactly. He who can win a black belt level fight in Taekwondo can call him self a fighter.

  • @evojoe011 honestkly it does come from karate - just watch the video again and think about it. both are good martial arts, there is no bad martial art... maybe except the one from that "Kiai Master" video

  • was "ludo" a martial art?

  • Think about this a ball point pen is used for writing, but other hands it could used as a weapon. The same goes for a baseball bat. This is how many common farm implements were developed into weapons(e.g. bo,sai,kama..et.). The best way to deal with ignorance or the ill informed is to let them keep talking and not to feed the fire. It is clear that the person has not studied TKDo to the BBelt level:)

  • I studied judo and have a Black Belt in the Jhoon Rhee system which utlizes the I.T.F. forms and the musical forms and sytem that Grandmaster Rhee developed. Two of Grandmaster Rhee's students Jeff Smith and Michael Coles were national and international kickboxing champions .The first thing that is taught is respect for others and i the foundation of the martial arts, but it is first taught inthe home. It is evident that the person posting has no idea what they are talking about.

  • @KiraxRo its clear u never studied a proper martial art like TaeKwon-Do or u would understand that one of the main principles of all martial arts is respect which u clearly have none of.

  • @redjimmyify TKD IS NOT A MARTIAL ART, IS JUST A SPORT ;)

  • @KiraxRo have u ever felt the power of a tkd kick or knife hand or fingertip thrust or knee or elbow or even the power of the blocks. I c what u mean that there is a sporting side to it but man its a martial art and one of the most lethal

  • @redjimmyify Yea i do, i got a nose broken and a leg broken fighting whit black belts of karate.

thats why i hate Tkd they never use Defenses, just One punch in the nose and bye bye.

And yea im not a english speaker so im doing my best to write this.

this is my last comment about this video

    ciao.

  • @KiraxRo tkd is a defensive art dude its mainly counter attacks

  • you think u know eveything ... if u have nothing good to say dnt say nothing at all and have u studied martial arts into the senior belt levels

  • @KiraxRo

I'm confused... are you talking about Taekwondo or Karate?

Thing is, Taekwondo is defensive... durp

  • @KiraxRo if tae kwon do is only a sport than so is karate, u got no respect and know bullshit about tae kwon do

  • @KiraxRo TKD IS MARTIAL ART THE OTHER MARTIAL ARTS ARE JUST JELLUS. TKD IS LIFE STYLE TKD IS NOT JUST A SPORT AND U SHULD SHOW SOME RESPEKT FOR IT FOR IF U MESS UP WHIT A TAEKWONDO GUY U GET UR ASS KIKED AND ALMOST 3 BONES BRUEN

  • @blackbelt807 you say that and u then ask why they wear "shoes". mate, youre a joke. taekwondo is fine, but when people like you try to big it up, you make all "blackbelts" a laughing stock. your account name is lying to you.

  • @BladeKempMusic i posted that a while ago

  • @blackbelt807 so? what difference is that supposed to make?

  • @BladeKempMusic i know much more now i dont even remember my posting this comment.

and why shuold i be a black belt just cause m youtube account name? so please dont be angry to me.

and i maybe defend taekwondo cause i do taekwondo and i wont accept me spend time for just a normal olympic sport. and i was angry posted this commen cause some, peaple started bully me cause i started taekwondo. so please i know much more now. i am very sory if i was making some peaples a laughting stock.

  • @BladeKempMusic and sorry for bad spelling

  • @KiraxRo dude its clear that u never studied great martial art such as TKD, because if u did u would understand that one of the core principles of all martial art is respect , which u have none of.

  • @redjimmyify

This comment epic wins. You're one of the pure guy. :D

  • @redjimmyify you are right. The core principle in learning martial art is ... learn to respect. But again, respect is to be earned ... and not given

  • @lordofthefourlegged So you don't deserve it...

  • @redjimmyify you are right. Learn to respect is an essence in practicing any martial art. But again, respect is to be earned .. not given.

  • @redjimmyify Respect is also the main element of any martial art. For without respect, you may be led stray of good

  • @KiraxRo

    you're a dickhead hee hee

  • @KiraxRo hey everyone.., check out this noob, he know nothing about TKD, he thought every fighters just like him, no, they're not you noob, just because you're noob not everyone learning TKD is like you, all wrong... stfo and get a life..

  • @NeoErtation Hhaha dude you know the truth tkd is a sport for faggots.

  • @KiraxRo the only faggot here is you..

  • @KiraxRo omg, you joined tkd?!

  • dude its grandmaster general Choi Hong Hi <<<<<< great vid though i studied itf tkd up to second degree black belt and the man was is and always will be a true legend

  • Hello,

My name is Chris Davy and I am a TKD martial artist, currently red belt with black stripe. I wish to pay my respects to Major General Choi Hong Hee and thank him for leaving such a wonderful legacy. Rest in Peace and thank you again:)

  • i love you,dad !

  • hi hello.

My name is Imamhossain i live in the new zealand. i would like watched karati or learn also i would get benefit from see .

  • What is the full title of this song and arthur?

  • @grunticus09 this is "Hummel gets the rockets" by Hans Zimmer, soundtrack to The Rock

  • The only good TKD is Rhee Tae Kwon-Do Australia / NZ

  • oops sorry beat was supposed to be in there between can and almost lol >,<

  • jeez lol very nice arguement guys :D but it depends on your MMA styles and weather you can cycle or not if you can cycle then you can almost anyone, can i cycle no, do i know someone who can yes. :D i've been state champ at taekwondo before but that was few years ago. but it all depends on your style determination and comitment to the art :)

  • TAEKWONDO ROCKS !!!!

  • 대권도의아버지 최홍희 소장(ROK) 선쟁 (DPRK) Major General Choi Hong Hee

  • Hello - I would like to obtain copies of the media used to create this video! There are annotated subtitles in Korean. - I would like to do a version with legal music and English subtitles. Juche Manse!

  • long live military TKD

  • Dude im not going to waste my time with a kid who has no logic & is too sensative & insecure. Well my fake tkd (as u call it) awarded me 6 gold medals in state tournaments, 2 gold in local club competition,1 gold in pattern competition, 1 gold & 1 silver in self defense competition.Oh & 1 of the tournaments i was a red belt & they game me a temp black belt to compete against black belts because my 2 previous fights were too dominant, they said it wasnt fair for the red belts. still won.Goodluck!

  • @realityIZanILLUSION what belt are you already and who did you train with. I only made it to red strip belt and trained at choi's martial arts at CA

  • one concept? lol we practiced all the kicks that are unique to taekwondo. we learned the patterns that r unique to tkd (waste of time). we were taught the principles of honor, respect, integrity. We were judged by international standards & graded arcordingly.See our instructor understood that some concepts are more effective than others.Even he understoof tkd had limitations such as too many fancy kicks,no ground defense,no weapon defense, too formal stance.I think all tkd should be taught that way

  • @realityIZanILLUSION there are no kicks unique to TKD. So right there fake proof #1. Patterns dont mean anything, people make them up every yr. principles can be taught on youtube and karate. Every TKD is judged by someone. That doesnt make it real. as a matter of fact if it isnt judged by WTF or ITF. its 100% fake. Real TKD didnt have fancy kicks outside of the spinning hook kick..

  • @ikcjjtt Obviously "thats not tkd, u got that from the net" lol that can be ur response 2 everything lol.u said ur cheif justice or some pathetic job like that? ur too dumb for something like that,or maybe its just how dumb the american legal system is,that explains alot.Me im retired. I have enough income from investment properties & make more than a lawyer, without working.I spend my time studying psychology, wealth creation, flaws in the monetary & legal systems & training.Have fun at work lol

  • @ikcjjtt There are 8 or 9 patterns that are unique to TKD, they are same patterns as always. U said u did TKD, if so look on utube for the patterns & see if they are the same.I already looked & can comfirm they are. The only difference is the quality of the performance its sloppy as hell, must be american TKD. Our kickboxing was better than the US too. They often came down for US vs Aus.We sent them home broken noses, broken jaws, broken legs. Now im training for MMA, cant wait for the next US vs Aus

  • @ikcjjtt If u have the balls (obviously u dont) go 2 ur nearest MMA gym & ask 2 compete against their average fighter in ur weight class. Its easy 2 talk tough lil kid.U have nothing 2 prove 2 me,do it for yourself. Or maybe u are ok with being a coward & convince yourself your not. I bet your next answer will be "I already have & ko'd him" lol ur so predictable I already know ur response ha ha. Im done wasting my time with a joke.Dont worry, keep training & 1 day u'll grow out of being a coward.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION i already have...and got KOed. didnt see that coming did ya! booyah!

  • lol sorry dude but a shin is stronger than a joint. joint will break before bone. u sound less experienced the more u type lol. look its ok dont cry. Do u realise ur a mixed martial artist? (if infact u did those arts & werent full of s*) That means you train in the art of MMA.lol your arguing me about something that is completely nonsense. ur a mixed martial artist...lol

  • @realityIZanILLUSION Well i dont consider my MMA ONE art. I study MANY arts. Each individualy...so its mixed martial arts as many arts...not one...like that paradox u do...

  • @realityIZanILLUSION hate to tell u mate, but a rolled knee, tensed will break a shit before the joint - theres hardly any pressure in comparison to the shin bone. same concept as breaking concrete with a chop - but then again youd take the concretes side, same IQ

  • when did i say anything about the number of strikes lol see you too focused on arguing & u miss the big picture. All i said is MMA is the best art. this translates to MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST...this translates to...STUDYING ALL AREAS OF COMBAT. I only said that in my opinion muay thai, boxing, wrestling & bjj is the best combination. ur just too busy crying from my comment that ninjitsu, krav maga, capoeira etc suck & too focused on arguing. ur a MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST lol & u dont even know it. lol

  • @realityIZanILLUSION it doesnt matter what i am, that still doesnt prove that MMA makes you automaticly more skillful than anything in the world. More weapons just means more options, thats all.

  • oh poor baby starting to cry?? its ok kid. if ur capoeira, aikido, krav maga helps u then im happy for u. Over here it is useless. Maybe where u train its not just about fancy crap that has not effect in the real world.maybe ur krav maga teaches proper martial arts, not some b.s crap that just throws everything at the guy including the kitchen sink. maybe ur aikido doesnt just teach b.s hand flurries to distract. but all the clubs i been to...all the training vids i seen are just that...crap

  • @realityIZanILLUSION "oh poor baby starting to cry??" a little. im still cracking up over your fake TKD and fake kickboxing training. Seems your club teaches some crap as well, lmao. Come on man, look at this video-do u see muay thai in there? lol.

  • lol go to ur nearest kickboxing club. im sure they will have belts. we did. muay thai doesnt but kick boxing does. also its up to the club. Oh & i trained in karate a little when i was a kid, it sucked.Too many katas &b.s rigid techniques.Good for conditioning though. My brother trained shotokun.lol my TKD gave me the ability to knock people out without getting too close.lol 99% of my fights were finished without me getting hit.Professional kickboxers & thai fighters who are champs say tkd helped

  • @realityIZanILLUSION lmao, i train in kickboxing, TKD, muay thai, karate, JJ,BJJ, catch wreslting, capoeira, JKD, and kali. I also have dabbed in a few other arts. belts dont exists in REAL kickboxing. REAL TKD does not have muay thai or BJJ in it. Karate for kids does suck. TKD is the exact same, not sure what you do, but it ISNT TKD. Perhaps REAL kickboxers and muay thai fighters learned REAL TKD and not what ever you know.

  • @ikcjjtt I doubt u have done any training at all. u sound too insecure. If u were confident u wouldnt be judging me but i guess your just insecure lol maybe u should read what i said, i trained in practical tkd (not traditional). We had all the concepts of tkd with more than standard emphasis on punching, knees & elbows, grappling. Our stance was not typical tkd. we even trained with jeans sometimes to prepare us for the occasion so we could kick in those circumstances. its ok kid dont get upset

  • @realityIZanILLUSION u make yourself get judged. Belts in kickboxing?! comon. You trained in MMA that you called TKD. That's not real TKD, lol. I dont train in capoeria and call it muay thai do i? lol. Its not even modified TKD, Give me one concept thatyou actually follow in your "TKD". Just one.

  • @ikcjjtt on the street 1 style is enough 2 defend yourself. its better 2 use focus on what works. Its better to know how to defend yourself on the ground than not know what to do.Its better 2 have some training in wrestling (whatever form) 2 be able to dictate where the fight goes (take down or get back up if taken down).Like i said having 3-4 blackbelts is better than 1.Also,its better to win a fight without causing neccessary injury.Sometimes controlling the person is enough 2 stop him.

  • @ikcjjtt The more training your opponent has the more u need. 1 style is enough in most cases on the street. When u advance & start to fight real martial artist & not just bums off the street then the more efficient your training the better. Against a martial artist u will need to training in stand up & ground. The more additional skills the better, such as wrestling ability, better boxing skills, better kicking skills, better throws, submissions & takedowns. im sure u agree with this.

  • U still dont get the point. MMA is mixed...MIXED...in your circumstances train in what ever you can to prepare u for it. MMA is not limited to any art. U are really having a hard time understanding. Go learn weapons defense/attack, learn how to defend yourself against multiple attackers....the point is learn what u can from wherever u can...that is what MMA is. are u focusing on 1 art?? or do u learn from multiple....if so then u r a MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST. if not then u train in 1 style & 1 only

  • U are trying so hard to discredit me & my ability. Its obvious that ur a little kid. You dont know anything about me. I have probably been in more street & club fights in 1 year than your entire life. I have a blackbelt in tkd, red belt in kickboxing. I have a bluebelt in BJJ. My muay thai is solid thanks to tkd & kickboxing. My record is 23-0 in kickboxing.12-1 mma & i had easily 2 street fights a month from 13-25. Ive been training & fighting since i was 5. ur just an insecure little boy

  • @realityIZanILLUSION i dont have to try hard at all. U discredit yourself. by studying fake TKD which sounds to me to be MMA. belts in kickboxing?BS all over that dude. 23-0 in fake kickboxing? whoopy due. U said u didnt get into street fights at all. Now u fight little boys and young men? I bet you fight women to huh? lol. This is rediculas man. i havnt laughed this hard in so long. lmao.

  • MMA is designed to give the practitioner the basic & most effective techniques in all areas of fighting. Muay thai =Punching, kicking, knees, elbows, thai clinch. It is designed to be efficient & effective. JJ for grappling. JJ dominates the floor hands down. Wretling is good for developing control. It doesnt take 20 years to master these. It only takes a few years in each....unless your retarded. MMA is designed to cover all important areas of fighting while keeping it simple & effective.

  • Again your missing the point of MMA. To study what works & discard what doesnt-like bruce said. U said it yourself. MMA gives u the opportunity to aquire the most effective techniques & discard what doesnt work. Thats why muay is so effective, they master a handful of basic strikes. Sorry but this is real life & not the movies. Muay thai is too powerful for other arts. Most people who are serious in fighting often go to thailand for muay thai bootcamp. Its basic & powerful. No fancy b.s

  • @realityIZanILLUSION more like the thai ifghters just start training at the age of 6 and have full contact fights by the age of 12. In first world countries we have REAL jobs and school. We just dont get that much training. Hardly deals with powerful arts than having too much time on your hands. If i wasnt a criminal Justice Major and didnt live in the USA, i could concentrate 100% of my time on tai chi and become the best fighter in the world as well.

  • @ikcjjtt all you need to win is 4 punches, 4 kicks, basic grappling & have good conditioning & u could then walk in to your nearest tkd, karate, aikido, ninjitsu, kungfu, boxing, krav maga, capoeira, sando, judo, sambo, savate, wrestling gym & knocked out the master and walk out. your dillusional. Blackbelts arent anything special. 10 dan in anything doesnt mean jack s*. Muay thai owns every other standing art. any bjj or jj owns the ground. If u live somewhere where weapons r a problem carry a gun. sinple

  • @realityIZanILLUSION from my understanding, you are switching arguements. You said u needed at least 400 punches, 500 kicks, and at least 2 grappling arts to be even able to fight. now all of a sudden kickboxing and JJ is enough? Now u are stealing my arguement. 10 dan doesnt mean anything in your fake TKD and kickboxing. But in the real TKD it does. muay thai does not own everything. I defeated a muay thai guy using a spinning hook kick back kick combo from TKD. Give me some metal robs and-

  • @ikcjjtt i said i dont fight on the street anymore. im more mature now. Plus if i fight someone on the street & they press charges i go to jail because of my training. There is no one on the street who will be legit competition for me, unless he was trained. fighters on the street are pathetic. they all think they are tough guys untill they fight someone who can block/dodge their wild silly punches.then they get frustrated & tackle me to the ground lol then i wear them out & walk away.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION do you have lips on your arsecrack? ur chattin shit

  • @realityIZanILLUSION and ill own it again with kali. Or even empty handed kali. Ever broke a shin with a knee before? I sent some thai fighters back to thailand in my day, lol. conditioned shin doesnt mean anything to a regular knee.

  • @ikcjjtt Oh & u say tkd is crap lol anderson silva trained tkd, cung li trained tkd. Most kickboxing/muaythai champs have a backround in tkd. lol I fighter should focus on what works & forget the fancy useless stuff. So being able to fight standing up, on the ground & clinch range is often neccessary, therefore its important to train in those areas right? Thats why people train in mma. They dont just do traditional arts that focus on one style. the best boxer can be taken down.best jj can be ko'd

  • @ikcjjtt If a fighter is good enough he can end a fight without striking or hurting himself or the opponent. Thats the idea isnt it? to defend yourself & avoid uneccessary injury for both urself & the attacker. Thats why BJJ is good. The better u are at bjj the less u need to strike. People think fighting is ko'ing the guy with punches. I have ended many fights by just controlling the guy till he gives up. If u need a weapon buy a gun. like i said in australia we fight like men, no weapons.

  • That right so age limits performance. Lets say people are effective at the ages of 18-40. Then they are out of peak & start deteriorating. So the quicker one can acquire skills & develope them the better. MMA gives u maximum exposure in the shortest period of time. Sorry dude but there is no difference in a 10 dan blackbelt & a 3 dan. Only difference is mental (knowing the names of techniques & b.s), not skill.
