Yeah, she did a good job. Lost a bit of the lyrics. The worst about this rendition is the country flavor added to it musically. She could sing it however she wanted, the musicians failed by abandoning the adult contemporary feel that the song so needed and would have complimented her voice more advantageously. I think Idol failed her on this piece.

One of the hardest songs to sing live! When I heard she was doing this song at the time of watching the show live, I figured she was going to go belly up in the surf. She actually did a great job on the piece. Obviously, she wasn't prefect, but I would have loved to hear others make an attempt. You would hear a lot of folks that sell many millions of records fall flat on their face with this in a live setting. She was actually one of the best on the show and she proved it this night.

She sang the song well the only thing lacking as the high note. I remeber a friend who didn't care for her at the begining turn to me after that performance. She said Kristy has a nice voice. Nonetheless, Kristy had brochitis what do you expect. She improved alot since. Search here on the tube for Kristy lee Cook national anthem. She did an amazing job singing the anthem.

She was sick here with brochitis. I noticed she got better top 11 onwards. She's a good singer great voice although its not shown here. Her lower register is on key throughtout the song it's just the higher notes. Like I said she had brochitis.

ouch, that's the worst redition I heard of that song. There is a 10 year old fat boy clip singing faithfully that I can stomach better than this. too much drag on the words and the notes are too steep for her voice.
