@Q4SSIMI That all depends on your spec. If you are only level 20 you don't even have backstab yet lol, so go with sinister strike. In higher levels, use Backstab, unless you are combat spec, in which case use sinister strike.

For gemming always aim toward agility, and for reforging aim for critical strike rating (although I have been using a bit more mastery lately and have had good results). @bigdipps96 well yeah, but you can only get away with using hemorrhage spec if you're going to do that. If you are a human, orc, or a race that benefits from another weapon like that, then it's definitely an option.

@kardy3 Umm what? Go watch streams of legitimate pros using Quickening over Improved recup and make the same comment and see how well that goes. I get it for the movement with a little bit of healing, because without it, just about every class can outrun us.
@kardy3 most of those 2.5k rated guys using improved recup are also running hemo spec, so they have the luxury of using both. But I don't watch 2.5k streams. I watch most of Neilyo's streams/videos, whose rating is over 3k. If you would rather use imrpoved recup for slightly better healing and a noticeable damage mitigation bonus, go for it. If it fits you, there is no reason to not use it :)
@kardy3 my POV is that Quickening is a must for any sub rogue that plans to pvp. sure there may be some people that do imp recup instead of quickening but like you said. that is there personal preference. if you really dissect them both quickening would come out on top. 20% increased healing is nothing to scuff at. doesn't matter if you are doing bgs or arenas. it is very helpful. plus the 15% movement speed bonus is really nice since you don't have to enchant your boots with any type of speed..
@kardy3 ..increase, so you can use +35 agi to your boots, which would be more overall dmg. but then again it is all personal preference. its just like rogues reforging to expertise, like i do. sure i can get more dmg with crit. but in RBGs and arenas, with feral druids and other classes that tend to dodge and parry my attacks, it is really helpful. just my thought on getting Quickening over recup. hope it helped and didn't mean to call you retarded. i just can't see pvp w/o it.

@domebrahimsober Always put the slower weapon in the main-hand. I use a Landslide enchant and weapon chain, although if you're gear is really up there statistically a hurricane enchant is better (although in experience it really doesn't matter now since the Hurricane can't proc more than once off the same weapon anymore). Awsome Vid. But why are you using backstab? thugt ambush was better.... just a question. I my selfe are not a pro rouge, just in lvl 53. I use ambush insted of backstab, but is realy backstab better that ambush?
@MrThaGamer628 Ambush is no different from backstab, except Ambush can only be used from stealth if you don't have shadow dance turned on. Damage wise backstab does slightly more, except ambush generates another combo point and activates Find Weakness.

@TimecopSticks I am using mikscrollingtext. It normally isn't considered necessary but it's always good to know what is doing the damage to you, and let's me know if my CoS successfully resisted a fear (psychic scream being the main one).

@danger2231 Oh that's alright good sir. After you apply premeditation wait just about 18 seconds, use the 2 points from it to apply either recuperate or slice n' dice, then apply premeditation again and apply whichever one isn't active and begin your opener. Hope that helps :)
@Xivate I have noticed :D, as of a few days again I stopped using ctrl as my push-to-talk to make room for more key bindings. Still getting used to it but I'm seeing a little improvement in some areas so far.

Ok first off im not trolling or flaming you but why would you put three points in honor among thieves unless your one of them scrub rogues that i see most of the time who just sit in stealth and wait till there enemy is low hp then you strike then GG with that talent and to be quite frank cataclysm pvp is fucked up so why wouldent you put your points more towards survival, i can see why backstab would be better but still it costs more and does almost the same damage as hemo.
@FeletanProductions Well thank you for making it clear you are not flaming/trolling :) but to answer your question I have actually tried putting a single point in HaT, and even 2 points. Sometimes in both arena and BG settings it didn't go off when I wanted it to. I don't really do it for the chance of getting a combo point, but more to reduce the cooldown on how often I get them from it. Even in arena, a critical heal from your partner will get you a combo point on your target :)
@youbet2011 umm it is very much possible. 1-5 and shift 3-5 (you try and hit shift 1-2 and not break your hand), f, g, c, x, a, d, t, r and s, and shift of all of those. 25 buttons. Every single one of them has a key binding. I don't know about you but I'm not going to reach all the way across my keyboard to hit p or literally break my hand just so I can cloak out. So go ahead, make fun of the fact I click 4 out of the 29 functions and macros I use. I honestly don't care.

Let me put it this way: Yes I'm a former clicker, and I'm slowly breaking the habit. This very second there are only 4 buttons right now that don't have a key bindings. I tried using alt but it was uncomfortable because my thumbs are double jointed. Now Ctrl I can get more off of, but I use it for push-to-talk. But lately I've been thinking of just using ctrl anyway.

My activatable agility trinket is keybound to my shadowdance, and the other one goes off automatically, but I click my pvp trinket. @xNeonPandax Humans are the favored class for rogues on the alliance. They have one of the more powerful active racials (although their passive racials suck). Worgen have the active speed boost making it easier for them to stick to targets and they take reduced shadow and nature damage, and their +1% crit chance compliments them. Night Elves are a little harder to hit, move faster in stealth and take reduced nature damage. Gnomes also have a nice active Racial and dagger expertise. Up to you.
@MultiDJSUp I click 2 cooldown moves.. I don't have much more room on my keyboard. But it's only preparation and vanish (but in some of the footage you can see fan of knives is keybound to s where in other clips it is not). Cloak of Shadows I also click but it's also built into a bunch of other macros that ARE keybound so it isn't really a huge problem.
@bschale We can always assume that in live pvp situations that damage on dummies will be reduced by another 40% in pvp, that is the general statistic. But if you want an easy spec, go Hemorrhage. You get much greater healing and you don't have to worry about position requirements. Backstab is just more fun and is easier to kill targets.

@domebrahimsober Always put the slower weapon in the main-hand. I use a Landslide enchant and weapon chain, although if you're gear is really up there statistically a hurricane enchant is better (although in experience it really doesn't matter now since the Hurricane can't proc more than once off the same weapon anymore). I am Exitus on Nazjatar, a generally empty server :|

Awsome Vid. But why are you using backstab? thugt ambush was better.... just a question. I my selfe are not a pro rouge, just in lvl 53. I use ambush insted of backstab, but is realy backstab better that ambush?

@MrThaGamer628 Ambush is no different from backstab, except Ambush can only be used from stealth if you don't have shadow dance turned on. Damage wise backstab does slightly more, except ambush generates another combo point and activates Find Weakness.

@TimecopSticks I am using mikscrollingtext. It normally isn't considered necessary but it's always good to know what is doing the damage to you, and let's me know if my CoS successfully resisted a fear (psychic scream being the main one).

After watching this video, especially your cc = heals part, my game has improved drastically, I always been pure pve so generally sucky at pvp, but now i hardly die at all in BG's so i can stab more. Mad skills bro, keep up it for the rogue brotherhood!

@danger2231 Oh that's alright good sir. After you apply premeditation wait just about 18 seconds, use the 2 points from it to apply either recuperate or slice n' dice, then apply premeditation again and apply whichever one isn't active and begin your opener. Hope that helps :)

Ok first off im not trolling or flaming you but why would you put three points in honor among thieves unless your one of them scrub rogues that i see most of the time who just sit in stealth and wait till there enemy is low hp then you strike then GG with that talent and to be quite frank cataclysm pvp is fucked up so why wouldent you put your points more towards survival, i can see why backstab would be better but still it costs more and does almost the same damage as hemo.

@FeletanProductions Well thank you for making it clear you are not flaming/trolling :) but to answer your question I have actually tried putting a single point in HaT, and even 2 points. Sometimes in both arena and BG settings it didn't go off when I wanted it to. I don't really do it for the chance of getting a combo point, but more to reduce the cooldown on how often I get them from it. Even in arena, a critical heal from your partner will get you a combo point on your target :)

@youbet2011 umm it is very much possible. 1-5 and shift 3-5 (you try and hit shift 1-2 and not break your hand), f, g, c, x, a, d, t, r and s, and shift of all of those. 25 buttons. Every single one of them has a key binding. I don't know about you but I'm not going to reach all the way across my keyboard to hit p or literally break my hand just so I can cloak out. So go ahead, make fun of the fact I click 4 out of the 29 functions and macros I use. I honestly don't care.

@TheFawmaw Like I said, every single one has a function (although there are more now than there are in this video). Let me put it this way: Yes I'm a former clicker, and I'm slowly breaking the habit. This very second there are only 4 buttons right now that don't have a key bindings. I tried using alt but it was uncomfortable because my thumbs are double jointed. Now Ctrl I can get more off of, but I use it for push-to-talk. But lately I've been thinking of just using ctrl anyway.

My activatable agility trinket is keybound to my shadowdance, and the other one goes off automatically, but I click my pvp trinket. I'm guessing you mean my racial, and the fact you are referring to it as my pvp trinket some how makes me the noob.

@xNeonPandax Humans are the favored class for rogues on the alliance. They have one of the more powerful active racials (although their passive racials suck). Worgen have the active speed boost making it easier for them to stick to targets and they take reduced shadow and nature damage, and their +1% crit chance compliments them. Night Elves are a little harder to hit, move faster in stealth and take reduced nature damage. Gnomes also have a nice active Racial and dagger expertise. Up to you.

@MultiDJSUp I click 2 cooldown moves.. I don't have much more room on my keyboard. But it's only preparation and vanish (but in some of the footage you can see fan of knives is keybound to s where in other clips it is not). Cloak of Shadows I also click but it's also built into a bunch of other macros that ARE keybound so it isn't really a huge problem.

@bschale We can always assume that in live pvp situations that damage on dummies will be reduced by another 40% in pvp, that is the general statistic. But if you want an easy spec, go Hemorrhage. You get much greater healing and you don't have to worry about position requirements. Backstab is just more fun and is easier to kill targets.
