What are your ohms at? I run a clean amp at 600watts but drop that to a quarter ohm. If you got a phoenix probably do a half ohm. Main two things for system no one thinks about is power distribution and box. Read up on wire setup so you can drop to lower ohms. And if you build the right box for that speaker in accordance to factory specs it will hit. I had a 12 that was killing 2 15s because the box was right. Took me a week to make it though. keep up theh good work.

Got the same effect in my room with 4 15" powerd by 3000x2= 6000Watt amplifier. i tryed out a DB meter it was ofc a cheap one that went only up too 120Db and it was maxed out.. 10more and i have jet engines in my room.

@nobo631 the amp is wired at 2.5 ohms cause the subs read 2.5 at the amp and then there is box rise as well and my electrical is not even close to what it needs so yes it is not doing 10k it is more like 2k but is all good i have a diff setup now anyways.

I have an 07 impala as well. Where is your eq mounted? As you know the floor shifter equipped cars kinda makes placement tricky with a double din radio. One more question about the box. Why is it so tall with 12's in it?
