  • Most rock shows feature a lead singer and/or guitarist with a backup band. This video is consummate proof that Stones in the '90s were truly a =band=. This performance almost defines counterpoint and arranging with everyone doing their thing perfectly at exactly the right moment. There is really a =lot= going on here, and it all works incredibly well together.

  • Lisa Fischer's performance in this makes me want to buy her a farm in Texas...

  • The young lady in the white hot pants singing backup is lovely. Count on the Stones to put together a show with great musicians and singers.

  • @keithsmd Lisa Fisher!

  • Where do people get off saying "Keith hated Taylor?" Were you =there=? None of the Stones (and none of the people at WEA) were happy to see Mick go. =None=.

  • OMG Lisa Fisher with withe pants, so fucking hot!!! i love that bitch

  • thank you keith, thank you for being true and not selling out, this was good for my soul to hear and see this.

  • I was there Wembley 1995 Voodoo Lounge Tour. Amazing, amazing gig!

  • welcome to the vooodoooooo loouuuuungeeeee^^

  • whatever's up with Billy Preston??

  • Billy Preston died 3 years ago

  • The greatest Rock and Roll Band in the world was the Rolling Stones with Jagger,Richards,Watts,Wyman and Mick Taylor. And no one else. Especially Ron(Rod Stewart)Woods. He adds nothing to the Stones. Man did Taylor play GREAT lead. Clapton style!!! Those years with Taylor. WOW!!!! Nobody could come close to the stones including the Beatles and their studio.

  • I agree with you, that it was " WOW with Mick taylor, and they SOUNDED the best back then, but u got to understand, Keith HATED Taylor, Taylor played like a god, but acted like a moron, so when u said, Ron wood dont add nothing to the stones, i think u need to reconsider, Ron adds , frenship / happines in the band . so ^^

  • Where did you hear that- about Keith and Mick Taylor not getting along? Is there a book or an interview that describes this?

  • Keith quite often says he's still waiting for Mick Taylor to 'achieve something'. Google 'ask Keith Richards' and it should come up. There is a section on his web site where he answers a bunch of questions, and I'm pretty sure it's in there.

  • I've read just about every book published about the Stones and nowhere does it state that Richards disliked Taylor. The main thing was that, although Taylor played great guitar, he didn't fit the Stones image. He wasn't brash enough or a rebel like Keith. Shame because their best music was diring the Taylor era. Ron Woood can sometimes pull a decent guitar solo out of his ass but he is as lazy as hell and likes to screw around to much. He was way more effective when he was with the Faces.

  • @philipohlsen666 Stop imagine the stones history ... Keith hated taylor because he was too good compared to him and because Taylor was a lead guitarist and looked always bored on stage .. Wood adds friendship yes but a poor guitar skill . Mick Taylor era were the best ! ( look at albums : get yer yaya , sticky fingers , Exile on main st , goad head soup , it's only rock'n roll and the unbelievable STP TOUR .. ) Good night !

  • @fondofrory I don't think the decline of the Stones's recorded output had anything to do with Taylor, but everything to do with factors related to Keith and Mick. I think Taylor's impact on the Stones is wildly overrated, namely because his tenure happened to coincide with the most proliferative and absolute peak period of Mick and Keith's songwriting and focus.

  • @Dukegrievousangel I'm not agree with you .. Jagger/richards were on good mood during 1974 to 1976 ... And you should listen a record of hmm angie or brown sugar in 1975 or 1976 with Wood on lead guitar ... It's pathetic compared to 1973 .

  • @fondofrory Even Richards himself admits that their standard of songwriting started to fall after "Exile on Main Street", largely because of the separation between Mick, who was becoming more acculturated to the socialite world he broke into, and Keith whose smack habit was starting to impact the consistency of his writing. They may have been in good moods, but they weren't the same musicians/songwriters they were in '72-3. The '75 tour is generally held to be lower on the totem pole.

  • 'no one else. Especially Ron(Rod Stewart)Woods. He adds nothing to the Stones'. That's utter nonsense. They would all say that Woody was the missing ingredient in the Stones. Get your facts straight

  • Yer baws min. Ron Wood.. (No "S" you notice?) Revived a tired band and added amazing width to their sound. I agree though, Taylor was a fantastic guitarist.

  • Richards has repeatedly expressed great respect for Mick Taylor. He was not the fit he was looking for. Taylor is a great lead player - lots of "jazzy licks". Richards was looking for someone who could "inter-lock" with what he was doing, much like Brian Jones

  • and yes, Richards hated Jones but the two complimented one another very well. They did the "interlocking" thing in the early years. Richards didn't want a flashy lead player. Taylor was a hasty addition for an American tour recommended by Mayall who was pals with both Richards and Jones. Taylor just stuck for about 4 years. I think Wood is a better fit for the band and also a good technician but they were pretty much past the peak when he hopped aboard.

  • ronnies guitar playing is simple.

THE STONES ARE SIMPLE! Thats why they are the greatest rocknroll band

  • One of my all time favorite Rolling Stones´s songs in my favorite Rolling Stones tour.
