  • I like the album version...

  • This is my FAVORITE song. I've been listening to Commissioned since I was younger. Fred Hammond is one of my absolute favorite singers. His ministry through song is so powerful. He is a true inspiration. No matter what I am going through, there is a song from his repotiore that fits my mood, the ocassion, and it always seems to help me put things back into perspective. I would love for a Commission reunion to come again.....Thank you so much for posting this one!

  • I just learned that commission and fred hammond is one and the same.... i used to listen to him from i was a teen love his ministry...

  • This is the first time i heard this song today. I just got 'Saved' 10 days ago. Glory to God. I really don't care to much for Gospel music, but since i came to the Lord i going to force myself to listen. Some i'm learing to like, but i really like the message to this, & I like the way Fred is singing it.

  • That is CRAZY! -seeing how -Fred was Skinny back then --Thank God 4 Commissioned ; one of the Greatest Gospel groups!

  • só ssei q queria ter nascido nessa época e estado nesse show

  • I love this song, I like this version, but can clearly see how Fred Hanmond's voice has matured. I love Big Fred...

  • Classic Fred at his very Best singing Running back to You Nothing is better than Commissioned Wow I dident know that Fred was that small.

  • Thanx for the post

  • actually his voice is a lot better now than it was back then, he has added a lot to his technique over the years, your voice can only get better with age.

  • simply phenominal worship song!!

  • omg! Fred was this slim?! Get out! Love him. At the top of my list of favorites for worship

  • I can see why the member that have solo careers have them now after hearing that note at 4:50

  • I'm just glad that the fade with the part in it is not making a comeback anytime soon. Who's with me? huh?

  • Fred still has his talent because he is still faithful and behind all of the album and fame which comes with it he is making his main focus is to worship GOD, many Gospel artist lose track sadly.

    God bless Fred!

  • Dang, Fred was killing it here but oh man, its crazy how he just got better w/ time and not the opposite as so many others do.

  • I think Fred should of continue singing this song. B/C at 4:50 it sounded out of key when the two guys came in

  • What a gift Fred is!!

  • woooow look at how young and skinny he was! but he soundz the same now as he did back then! i love fred hammond his voice ins amazing!

  • Fred is the best ever. If you want real worship, listen to any of his songs. He will take you to heaven.

  • Wooow this song is amazing! It touches my heart deeply. How can Jesus forgive me, I was so lost in Amsterdam till 8 years ago He brought me home. Jesus loved me, He loved us first. Thanks Fred for writing this beautiful song.

  • What was Fred,12 yrs old in this Vid?;)

  • where was this concert at?

  • this is great song song ! loved fred

  • Yep....that was Fred!

  • that was fred?!?!?!? -_-

  • Loved this!! Thanx for posting!

  • fred was a young man all of them were. lol

  • Love my brother Fred - this is an amazing old school version - but I have to say, I love the more recent versions. There is a power in the song now that wasn't as apparent earlier - we all go through things, a brokenness that adds depth to our ministry. I think he ministers that song even more powerfully now.

  • LORD!!!! Where did you get this?

  • es realmente hermosa esta cancion uuufff asombroso como el oirla se ponen los pelos de punta Gracias Dios por los diseños que entregas

  • i heard fred's voice but didn't recognise him! that old 90's look. this is one of my favourite songs

  • Lord have mercy brutha! What a classic post! This is when I got introduced to Commissioned. In NC and VA, the Winans and Commissioned, Witness, Lexi and Mike E (anybody remember him??? If you got posts, please put'em up!)Dennis Alston, Dawkins & Dawkins were the bomb! This was gospel breakin' out of the box, yet keeping Christ first! U cant appreciate Fred without the value of Commissioned. Thanks bro!

  • man...i actually had Mike E's cd. now that's crazy. i let somebody use it and never got it back. ain't that nothin'!!!

  • Man...Mike E was ahead of his time, right? He was soooo underrated and soooo anointed! It sure aint nothin! (LOL) I had the cassette...I spliced it beyond repair...! (LOL)

  • When I got saved back in 91 a friend gave me a tape with this song on it, and it touched me so much that when I began to sing it I could not understand why it was I would start crying. Now I know. There was change happening in my heart. I've been a Fred Hammond fan ever since. This brother is a worshiper. We can always find negative things to say about the brethren, let him who is without sin throw the first stone. Read Romans 3:23-31.

  • I just can't understand how someone could possibly say anything negative about this man (Fred). He revolutionized gospel music by making it ok to dance and sing and let loose like David did back in the day. He wrote songs JUST LIKE THIS SONG that have helped turn people to Jesus Christ. As a PROUD MILITARY MEMBER, I use his songs to help me get through the struggles of defending our nation's freedom. I love all, but just find it difficult to understand how someone could dislike this man of God..

  • i don't wanna mess up my spirit right now...but.....i disagree with u on this....because..he was trying to find himself...and when he did he revamped outside of commissioned and did his own...but now...he is Pastor....he is more concecrated now ever...but imma get my tears......

  • I have no problem with your disagreement, but consider this, watch this video and then watch a recent video of Fred's and see which one touches you more. I have no negatives to say about the man as some here think, but his focus has changed from the early days, when everything would stop for a 'moving' of the spirit. Now it seems more important that the dancers are in time and that the 'image' that he portrays is hip and cool. The bible says, come out from among them, not try to be like them.

  • The bible does also say that you have to become all things to win souls unto Christ. Brother I understand what you're saying but as long as hes good in God's eyes thats all that matters..

  • for it being 1990, this was just awesome

  • Oh My GOD!! I went to that concert I was 10 my mom was 30 her n the other newly saved girls could not contain their selves lol she had 2 leave out my stepdad got jealous lol. RIP mom I miss u.

  • wow...this is the music i grew up on..commissioned,the best male group in music history.

  • I remember my mother use to play this song when me and my twin sister when we was growing and she use to sit there and cry a little bit. As I got older and now with better understanding about life. I now know why she cry. This song hits so close to home.

  • Fred shouldve kept the lead on this song! everybody tried to do a solo thing instead staying with the flow of the song..i see why they went their seperate ways.

  • I agree with ya! Let fred sing it!

  • Yea I agree also its a great song but they come in and kind of through it off.

  • i cant sing this song without crying...

  • fred was handsome in his day oh and i luuv this song too

  • i love this song

  • Think about man. He got older that happens sometimes. Wait till you get older. You'll see

  • what does being fat have to do with anything. I he is obeying God, and letting Him use him that's all that matters.

  • YES....YES....Fred thank you and thank you Will for posting this.

  • wow what did they record this with? Thanx for this

  • This is my favorite song by them.

  • thanks for sharing this! i luv it!!! i remember going to one of their live concert, will never forget it!!! once again, thanks!!!
