Viggo Mortensen would probably make a perfect Luis if he could pull off the accent. Thomas Jane would make a good Krauser since he has the same build and a similar facial structure (Go watch The Punisher, and imagine him in a beret and Krauser's getup). The Outbreak series had good characters: I could see Kurt Russell or Christian Slater pulling off Kevin Ryman maybe 12 years ago. Maybe a Cameron Diaz-type could pull off Alyssa Ashcroft.

A lot of these seem very painfully off, even if they are just opinions. Warwick Davis wouldn't make a good Salazar since his frame is too wide; Salazar is more narrow with pointier features. Karl Urban is about half the size of what Krauser is ...he would be closer to Leon if anything. Ada Wong wouldn't be Ada without the hint of Asian; Leon has a narrow frame, lanky while athletic; Leo is somewhat, but his facial structure isn't a match at all. 12 years ago Bean would have made a good Wesker.

i personaly wouldent like to see big stars playing the resident evil characters... i think it would be better if they cast (good) unkown actors to play them. just look at the street fighter movie and you will get what i mean.

Great cast. I especially like Olivia as Ingrid. Ada, however, should be played by someone more... Asian. And Bruce (great actor) seems a bit off with Barry. Personally, I'd go with Julia Voth as Jill Valentine since she was, I believe, the model for the character. Robert Patrick (T-1k in T2: Judgement Day) would make a pretty good Wesker and Pitt would fit Chris' rugged character.

i forgot about viggo mortensen playing Luis, wise choice mate!, I see you have an eye for things! Can imagine Wesker played by either, Sean Bean or Robert patrick,I find Weskers appearance changes slightly in games/films.

In R.E. extinction Wesker had gained weight, hair too short not jelled back & rarely seen as a hollogram.

I know, a few friends of mine and my brother were completely pissed off at the fact they got O'Meara to play him, not a bad actor, but not Wesker material whatsoever

Also, it seems that in the games he does change appearance but his voice slightly changes alittle in some of the games. It goes from English-ish voice which we all know but in the Original RE he's American sounding aand in some other games he still sounds like that?

If only they'll make resident evil 4 into a film, i'd like to see that...to see Ada & Leon appear in a film anyway. 100% really great character choice. I think luis Sera be played by Antonio Banderas. How about seeing the 'merchant' appear in a film too?
