I spent a month on a working dispatch at one lodge owned by Ole Ntutu's family, the only work the locals get is the dancing maasai who earn Ksh 100 per night. That is after they lost their grazing land to the lodges sitting on the edges of the game reserve. Chefs, housekeepers, guides etc are people from Nairobi armed with college diplomas, which the locals have not.
@mytime81,well maybe the locals can move to Nairobi and get diplomas or petition to have schools built in their region, people really need to get out of their comfort zones and move around a little they'll learn a thing or two
