Il-2 is the best WWII sim, out in stores! The stores says ''If you want a WWII sim, with realistic,history,great gameplay and hundred of planes its IL-2 you is looking for!''

Im am not saying that ACES HIGH 2 is a crappy game. And im not saying that Il-2 is the best. They are both good on there own way.. :D

and IL2 doesn't even have the same style of online play as AH2, IL2 is not a massive online game

Techincally its possible yes if you have enough powered server, it runs on dedicated servers as well... but why would you want an 100+ game even its not a fucking mmo and people ain't fancy of laggy games.

32-64 players is enough jeeze , size dosnt equal quality

awesome sounding sound mod...the engine sounds like an engine now instead of a Lawn Mower from the base game or the practically silent engine from AAA mod...the kewlest sounding engine in AAA is the P47 and P38

Graphics: AH2 is no where near IL-2

Realism: IL-2 is the most realistic flight sim out there

Number of aircrafts: IL-2 347 aircrafts, few times the number in aces high.

What else do you need to know? IL-2 wins by a LONG LONG shot

Hm, theres no getting more realistic then aces high 2 does. But, thats just your opinion, i like Aces high 2 a bit more. Its your opinion IL-2 wins

IL-2's weather has effect on planes

Back in WWII, rarely are there planes with ammo counters, and it seems aces high has it in every plane.

There's no gun jam in AH

no mixture control

no trimming aileron or elevator controls

how is it possible in real life to look 360 around, unless your head is not screwed on properly.

flaps do NOT auto ajust on high speed for most planes, yet it seems to happen in every plane in AH.

Hm, There us a line between FUN and REALISTIC. Aces High 2 Had weather effects, but everyone complained that theyr bombs couldnt hit etc, so they had to disable it. Ammo counters were needed to make the game funner and balanced.

And, obviously, you havent played Aces High 2. You can trim ailerons, and there are elevator controls. And, i can look the same in real life the same i can in Aces high 2.

@xyzwl000 I have played IL-2 for years. Forgotten Battles and 1946. Battle of BritainII Wings of Victory beats this in air combat intensity alone. Not to mention "realistic" when it comes to pushing buttons in the cockpit that move and or do something to the plane.

yeah its in FB.....I fly the AAA mod so idk for sure but I think there is only like 2 SeaFires and the MK VB spit tho..the AAA mod adds in like 12 different spits along w/ hundreds otehr planes and plane variants. One other great addition was the FW190 D13 w/ 3 20mm cannons =D

you only get the spitfire if you buy the IL2 1946 collection pack. If you just get IL2 sturmovik itself you are pretty much limited to russian and german planes. I know cause i bought il2 when it came out and then i got 1946 which is tons better.

IL2 Forgotten Battles has Spitfire. Its like an expansion previous to IL2 1946

Well, the sound in IL-2 are synthetized, and in WoV, they use wav files. However the dynamic sound in IL-2 (for example aicraft in distance) are superior to WoV, in my opinion

sound of this game is not very good, that is why everyone's trying to develop sound mods

but this game general is better than wings of victory in my opinion

Oooo, fantastic! The sound has always been the low point in the Sturmovik sims.

One tip though, maybe muffle the sound a bit while in the cockpit.
